  1. Hello everyone! The neoclassical Custom House in Dublin was built in 1791, burnt down in 1921 before its restoration to what it is today, a grand but neglected building. It was quite unpopular with many at the time of its completion but I’m hoping minifigures are less critical. I'm interested in hearing what you all think. Dublin Custom House by David D, on Flickr
  2. Mods please note, this is a space model using Star Wars sets and ideas... please do not move it to the Star Wars section! This is an Imperial Navy Special News Bulletin : In a press release today, naval officials have confirmed the existence of two new ships to add on to the already constructed Star Cruiser. They are named in the post below: This is the Imperial Home Fleet with the support craft and fighters excluded from view. From right to left, we have the Combat Frigate "Huckleberry", then the Star Cruiser "Sawyer", and finally the Assault Carrier "Thatcher". These three ships form the backbone of the Imperial Home Fleet, and have been used as a threesome on many war-time missions and peaceful encounters. SAWYER - star cruiser (set 9515 MOD) Name: Sawyer Owner: Lego Empire Model: TOM Class Star Cruiser Designer: Imperial Design Dept. Manufacturer: Imperial Shipyards Engines: 16 Twin Ion Engines (TIE) Max Speed: 2,850 MPH Max Hyper Speed: 62% speed of light The ship has 16 regular engines, specifically Twin Ion Engines. The command bridge of the ship features Admiral Oswald Lyons seat (on the right) with Lt. Commander Eliza Burnside (top seat) and Doctor Andrew Sinister (bottom seat) Right: Admiral Oswald Lyons Middle: Dr. Andrew Sinister Left: Lt Commander Eliza Burnside HUCKLEBERRY - combat frigate (set 75158 MOD) Name: Huckleberry Owner: Lego Empire Model: FNN Class Combat Frigate Designer: Imperial Design Dept. Manufacturer: Imperial Shipyards Engines: 9 Twin Ion Engines (TIE) Max Speed: 2,670 MPH Max Hyper Speed: 57% speed of light The rear of the ship features two movable arms to increase the amount of engines from five to nine, bringing the vessel up to it's full speed and maneuverability parameters. THATCHER - assault carrier (set 75106 MOD) Name: Thatcher Owner: Lego Empire Model: BKY Class Assault Carrier Designer: Imperial Design Dept. Manufacturer: Imperial Shipyards Engines: 3 Boosted Output Twin Ion Engines (BO-TIE) Max Speed: 2,770 MPH Max Hyper Speed: 63% speed of light The rear of the ship features three supercharge BO-TIE engines (Boosted Output Twin Ion Engines) that are cutting edge when it comes to light speed percentage. However, they are temperamental and have never been tested to their full power of 63% of the speed of light... usually they cap it at about 56% to keep the fleet moving at the same speed as it's slowest member. Thank you, that is all! (This message brought to you by OCTAN's new Octa-Milk - it's 8 new flavors of fun!* *Fun not included, any fun you may receive from Octa-Milk is wholly the liability of the drinker of said product and is not the responsibility of the OCTAN Corporation. All Octa-Milk contains 20% crushed hopes, 31% destroyed dreams, 15% unicorn tears, 12% squandered time, 20% abandoned sadness and 2% Cow milk.) NOTES on the fleet In reality, these ships were originally Lego sets remade in LDD on Eurobricks that I modified either a lot (set 9515 The Malevolence) a little (75106 Assault Carrier), or somewhere in between. (75158 Combat Frigate) They were originally recreated by these Eurobricks users: ADHO15, (for the Malevolence in the middle) ArmstrongYong (for the assault carrier on the right), and TheNerdyOne (Combat Frigate on left) before being modified by me. No LDD file will be made available for now, but the real life pictures (and the file) will be put up as soon as I build them, around the start of November. That's all for now, and if you have any thoughts, complaints or questions, feel free to ask!
  3. (Moderators, please note: These ships are inspired by Star Wars vehicles / sets , but they are not linked to star wars in any other way. As such, please do not move this thread to Star Wars forum. Thank you!) also, sorry for the blurry pictures. These are the best I could do. The Nevermore was commissioned in 2009 as the second ship of the "Vanguard" class of Star Cruiser. The ship's only sister vessel, the Usher, was destroyed in 2010 by a Blacktron strike force while the Nevermore was just a skeleton-frame and a yard number. (The Usher was enroute to the Unknown Regions to confront a Fleet of Blacktron ships headed for the Imperial shipyards, located on the world of Titan IV) The Nevermore was finished at lightning speed and was launched the week before the Blacktron arrived in May 2011, and soundly beat the Blacktron fleet with the help of a prototype Ion Cannon attached to Titan IV's surface. After chasing the Blacktron from the sector, the ship was christened the Nevermore by his Imperial Highness himself, with it's symbol being the Raven. In August 2012, the ship set off with orders to join up with the Imperial frigate Lenore and two Assault Carriers named the Avenger, and the Impervious (among with several dozen support ships and fighters) to from the Home Fleet. Name: Nevermore Owner: Lego Empire Model: Vanguard Class Star Cruiser Designer: Imperial Design Dept. Manufacturer: Imperial Shipyards Engines: 16 Twin Ion Engines (TIE) Max Speed: 1,850 MPH Max Hyper Speed: 60% speed of light The Nevermore features 16 engines. As you may have guessed, this ship is a modified version of set 9515: the Malevolence made into Imperial Gray-scale. The command bridge of the Nevermore features Admiral Oswald Lyons seat (on the right) with Lt. Commander Eliza Burnside (top seat) and Doctor Andrew Sinister (bottom seat) Right: Admiral Oswald Lyons Middle: Dr. Andrew Sinister Left: Lt Commander Eliza Burnside The Lenore was built during the last Blacktron War in late 2010. It was built with an experimental engine system which super-charged the regular TIE reactor into a BO-TIE ultra-reactor. This will make the regular Twin Ion Engine obsolete... once all the kinks are worked out with the design. Until such time, the cream of the crop in reactor technicians and their associated equipment are stationed on the Lenore should anything go wrong. This ship can go faster at light-speed than the Nevermore, though it trundles along at slower speed when not at full throttle. (It's sort of like a conventional turbine: works well at full speed but it's not so fuel efficient at lower speeds) Anyway, the Lenore is currently stationed in the Home Fleet the Star Cruiser Nevermore with two Assault Carriers named the Avenger, and the Impervious, among with several dozen support ships and fighters. Name: Lenore Owner: Lego Empire Model: Poe Class frigate Designer: Imperial Design Dept. Manufacturer: Imperial Shipyards Engines: 3 Boosted Output Twin Ion Engines (BO-TIE) Max Speed: 1,300 MPH Max Hyper Speed: 65% speed of light rear view featuring the 3 BO-TIE engines. Right: Captain Patricia Romanov Middle: Dr. Edward Jekyll Left: Lt. Commander Landon Williams Both the Nevermore (top) and the Lenore (bottom) are in scale with each other. ...and here is the symbol of the mighty LEGO Empire. Well, that's all for now. What do you think? Comments, Questions, & Complaints are welcome!
  4. Please Judge this Freebuild Edit: AHHH! Just realized a part fell off before the photoshoot...Please imagine its there! Or Imagine it broke in a fight, and that's what the Imperial Patrol is for The story so far: First Day Aboard the Avenger At The Table-Before The Storm Rescue Mission Reassigned Eliminating The Competition Target Practice “Here we go again…” Evac Escape A Quick Transaction "Black Sunshine" After having missions involving the Black Sun, Beltar finally clocked in enough hours to get some alone time on his home, Coruscant. Beltar’s grandfather was a wealthy political figure in the Republic, but he had got involved in various crime syndicates over the years, he left a bulk of his possessions to his son, including a nearly mint BNTLY-1948 air speeder, one of the rarest, commonly used among the Skull Crime Syndicate back in the day, Beltar assumed this is how this one came into his possession…But first, he had to stop at his old friends, Mak’s, garage shop to pick her up… Mak: Back on Coruscant, eh old friend? I kept ‘er in the best condition I could…Was a trouble to find the parts you was missin’ Beltar: Ha! Good to see you too, always nervous, weren’t you. I’ll give you a check for all those pieces you had to acquire later, the salary of a medical officer in the empire at my level isn’t the best! Also…how many times did you taker her for a spin Mak…? I know you would… Mak: Your salary is probably better than mine down here, in these parts… And uh… Perhaps more than once… It’s a long story, but the thing is that she’s alright right now…! I was surprised that it was in the good condition that you brought it to me in! Beltar: Yea, well my good ol’ grandad loved his air speeders. Sometimes more than us. But, he got involved in some bad people, after the air speeder was shot down, he was killed, by a Corouscant gang, but surprisingly the thing was left in okay condition! Mak: You know the gang’s used to call these babies Black Sunshine’s back in the day, my father told me about it. Because apparently the Black Sun controlled the BNTLY Speeder Inc, and they sold modified ones to their partners, and rigged ones to their rivals… Beltar: I guess I learn something new every day, whether it be how to save a life or something about the Sun’s. Anyways, I should get going, vacations don’t come often! Mak: Aight ol friend! Perhaps later, I can buy you a drink! Same time as before? Beltar: Of course! Later than day while Beltar went for a ride on some familiar streets that he hasn’t seen since he joined the academy… He drove by the Falcon district, near the Eagle Bar… Something clicked in Beltar’s head. This area was controlled by the Skull Crime Syndicate, and the crate he shipped earlier this month…had the symbol of the Eagle Bar, a known hangout of the Skull C.S… As he noticed this, he spotted an air speeder out of the corner of his eye, and of course, they noticed him. And another light went off in his head, he then remembered he had seen one of them while delivering the crate, he must’ve been there to spy on the Imperials… “Gotta warn Sarge later,” Beltar muttered under his breath. And suddenly, shots fired, a chase started. Beltar knew he had to lose the Skull’s somehow, since the BNTLY-1942 was one of the smallest models built from BNYLY Speeders Inc., he saw a slight chance of fitting into the street, and he could get into alleys easier this way… Beltar: “Just a little lower, come on…” “COME ON BOYS, SHOOT HIM! YOUR AIMS IS WORSE THAN STORMIES!” “Yea, yea, yea, bossman, we got this!” “You’re all idiots….Keep firing…” “Aw, almost got him! Watch out for pedestrians though!” “SERIOUSLY? WE CAN”T LET HIM GET AWAY!” “Why bossman?” “That’s the Imp I saw on N.E.! And that’s Mr. Beltar’s BNTLY somehom!….Ha, coincidences! Lovely, lovely thing!” "Yea! We'll get 'im!" “Run! Run for our lives!” “Move! Outta my way!” “No respect for bystanders!” “THAT VIOLATES 11 CODES!” Sarge: “Wait. Is that Beltar?” “Maybe Imperials? Gotta run!” Shortly after this event, Beltar managed to lose the Skull’s through a tight alley maze, the engines where almost shot, and Beltar knew he was going to have to get this speeder fixed again. Hopefully the Skull’s don’t come looking for Mak’s Garage…or Beltar… This time, I tried to write far more than my other freebuild, because that wasn’t the best build or story wise at all. I also get better photographs! Anyways, hope you liked the build and story! C and C welcome! ~Beltar
  5. (This is my re-introduction into SoNE! Hope you enjoy the build. I'd like it to be judged.) Windusky entered the meeting room, after taking a deep breath. He had just finished his training last week, and already he had a well known officer recruiting him for his regiment. Windusky: "Reporting for duty, sir." Officer Crux: "Stand at attention, rookie." "Yes sir!" "Your strategy skill is quite impressive. Your test statistics show high scores." "I've been the best at holochess and battle-starship since i was a kid." "I see. Now, before i test your strategy skill for myself, i have your first mission. I need you to over see the mining operation on Kessel. Make sure the miners are doing their jobs right." "When should i head out?" "ASAP. Oh, and sergeant Thast here will be accompanying you." Sarg. Thast: "Your sending me with this rookie?" "Yes, to teach him the ropes. Now, you two get going. I want a report on the mining progress tomorrow." - "Yes sir!" Officer Rand: "You seem awfully sure of Windu's skills. Are you sure of him?" "I am. Weren't you paying attention during his strategy challenges?" "I was, until i fell asleep because he kept winning." "That's what i mean. He's good. He could even possibly take your place soon." "All i know is that you better have a good explanation to Lord Vader if Windu fails to fill his expectations." "Understood." To be Continued... Let me know what you think! CC is welcome, and i hope you enjoyed my re-introduction! I'll be working on the next freebuild soon! More pics of the build on my flickr page.
  6. When I first heard that the LEGO company was releasing a rendition of the vehicle back in January 2015, I had high hopes that their set would be faithful to its inspiration. Sadly, that wasn't the case, and their rendition was definitely my least favorite of that wave. I've been wanting to make this vehicle for some time. After finding another great MOC from another LEGO Designer, my design finally came together. If you wish to see his project, which is exceptional, you can click here. The design features many of the features seen in the original ship, namely a rotatable top cannon, a central canopy with space for 2 drivers and a commanding officer, 6 side areas for prisoners or deploying troops, and 2 adjustable front guns. Along with a very sturdy frame design, this is the perfect rendition of the fan-favorite Imperial vehicle. Here are some pictures of the design from different viewing points. Let me know in the comments what you think of this design, and be sure to tell the original designer how nice his MOC is as well, as his is the inspiration for this design. You can also go to MOCpages & to see this vessel, if you want.
  7. This MOC was a commissioned model builld. My client gave me the general layout, and some specific details to include, and then let me go from there. It’s 64×64 plus the two stud border, and is modular, allowing each 32×32 module to be easily removed, and also allowing for easy additions in the future. All the building’s doors/trapdoors are functional, the two cranes work, and the prison cell has a break-away wall. Total piece count, excluding figs and accessories (all the dock cargo) was 5696 parts, making it my largest MOC in the Pirate theme so far. See lots more pictures on my website: http://www.brickbuilt.org/?p=3813 Feedback welcome
  8. Ahoy Mateys! I have redesigned my favorite set from childhood, 6263 Imperial Outpost for Turklug Redesign Contest. Hope you like it too. 6263 Imperial Outpost 1 More @ flickr.com/basarozcan/
  9. Hello everyone! I just found out about this group via the Facebook page. When I came over I saw the 5th LDD RCB and that it was a Western town theme. I was immediately interested in knowing what else this group did. I am following now following that thread and looking forward to seeing the final product. I started playing with LEGOs when I was about 5. I have always loved horses so my earliest sets all contained at least one horse. I had used the LDD 4-6 times over the past 8 years, but this site has inspired me to get back into using it. My favorite themes are Western, Medieval (particularly Robin Hood era), and Imperials (particularly modified to the American Revolution.) Last year, I also started building a Christmas village using a combination of the winter village sets and my own creations. I am presently going to college for my Master's and working full time so I stay too busy. However, I do enjoy playing PC games or building LEGOs when I have time. Most of my creations are MODs or small MOCs that are added to existing sets to fill them out. I will work on getting some pictures up of things I have done. I look forward to learning new techniques and getting new ideas from this group.
  10. [pid][/pid] 244A This is my first build in the Pirate theme. It was a lot of fun to build and I plan to do lots more Pirate builds. The barracks has a full interior, and the doors can open. The Imperial Barracks sits on a corner of the Imperial Fort. Any C&C appreciated.
  11. After the disgraceful events on Bespin, the star destroyer Avenger has stopped at the Hutt moon of Nar Eurbrikka, awaiting its next mission. I found this brief time perfect to drop by the Imperial Outpost on the moon, and spend the credits I earned upon my promotion in the Imperial navy. Imperial Officer: Welcome, pilot. We have heard of your brave actions on Bespin, it's a shame that the battle was lost. I also should congratulate you on your promotion. Artizan: Thanks, officer. It is a shame indeed. I am here to make some modifications on my TIE fighter. Imperial Officer: Ah, I have to tell you that we cannot do such modifications here, it is against the imperial regulations. You may, however, want to check the local junk dealers around here. I bet they have the parts you are looking for. Artizan: That will do. Toydarian: An outlander! How can I help you? Tell me what you are looking for, I have everything!! Artizan: I am looking for a hyperdrive to upgrade my TIE fighter. Toydarian: TIE fighters are not designed to carry hyperdrives, you know, but I have something special here. It is a class-2 hyperdrive, which will fit on your starfighter. I have to tell you, it is pricey. Have you got the money to pay for it? Artizan: I have enough Imperial credits. Toydarian: Credits!? Imperial credits are no good out here. I need something more real! Artizan: Look, take these credits, or I'll have your pitiful shop closed by the imperial garrison. Toydarian: Ok ok, take it easy. Credits will do fine. As the junk dealer went on to prepare the hyperdrive parts, I overheard two Rodians talking about imperials. They must have assumed I did not know Huttese, as they were not very careful with using their tongue. Rodian 1: These imperial scum make me sick, they are everywhere! They make the business go bad. Rodian 2: I agree, brother. I lent a stormtrooper some money, he said he would pay it back after he returns from a mission on Tatooine. Rodian 1: You fool, what have you done! He won't come back, I tell you, don't make any deals with the ones going to Tatooine, they are all going to perish. Rodian 2: What do you know? Rodian 1: I have an associate on Nar Shaddaa, he works for the Black Sun. He said something about a trap on Tatooine, which will devestate both Imperials and Rebels. In fact, I am going to see him today. I have to go now, I have a meeting with him in a Nar Shaddaa bar, I don't want to be late. The Toydarian returned with the parts, I paid him the money, and quickly followed the Rodian thug's ship to Nar Shaddaa. I don't know what awaits me there... (I want this freebuild to be scored, thanks for looking!)
  12. "Trooper TX201 to Command. Do you read? My transport crashed on Tatooine and I am the only trooper left. While hunting for survivors, I stumbled into one of the planet's marshes, and I'm still there. I can see a sandcrawler on the horizon- hopefully, the Jawas will take me to the nearest city- but the swamp lies between me and the vehicle. There's a narrow strip of sand surrounded by fetid green slime. Weeds and tentacles are rising from the water and entangle the path. Please send a dropship. Repeat, please send a dropship. Dragonfire out." I heard about this challenge four days before the deadline. As I have a limited supply of bricks, am separated from most of my bricks, and do not own any of the three sets, I've built a mini-MOC featuring only 20 pieces (not counting my sigfig). I only did this because there is only one Imperial MOC so far and I want to give the Empire more of a chance than it has already (even though I'll probably only get 1 point overall ). Pieces:
  13. I have always had a fondness for the AT-AT, and even after three attempts by LEGO to release oneI've still been left unsatisfied. Hence, my AT-AT MOC. It features a fully detailed interior with a cockpit holding 2 drivers, a commander with periscope, and room for 2 more figures, seating for 18 troops in a double decker main body, detailed drive section, storage for 2 speeder bikes in the lower vehicle bay, opening side access hatches and a lower hatch fro recreating Luke's lightsaber and grenade attack on a walker from ESB. The cheek guns rotate, and the legs are fully poseablewith articulated upper and lower hip joints, knees, ankles with 2 dimensions of range of motion, and toe flaps. The exterior, interior, and underside are highly detailed, having used photos of the movie models and the book Star Wars Complete Cross Sections to design and build the MOC. Any feedback is appreciated! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/379645
  14. LEGO still hasn't produced a decent AT-ST in minifigure scale, so I tackled the project and created my own. As usual, I used numerous available photos of the various movie models (it differed between those used in ESB and ROTJ), and the book Star Wars Complete Cross Sections. The interior holds two walker pilots with room for a third and an opening upper hatch, rotating cheek blaster and concussion missile launcher, elevating chin double cannons, rotating cockpit "head", and fully poseable legs with articulated upper and lower hips joints with 2 dimenions of range of motion, knees, ankles, and toes. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/379389
  15. Unsatisifed with any previously released example, I thought I would tackle the project and create my own MOC of this sinister looking droid. The arms articulate, and the head can rotate. Please leave feedback! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/362201
  16. This was the first Star Wars MOC I created, and I packed in as much detail as I possibly could using the original movie models and the book Star Wars Complete Cross Sections. The blue color comes from numerous source materials, even though it does look out of place. Please leave feedback! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/362172
  17. This is my TIE Fighter MOC, based off an enlarged solar array design of the recent LEGO Group TIE Fighter and my TIE Interceptor cockpit and pylons design. I used photos of the movie models and the book Star Wars Complete Cross Sections as well in the creation if my TIE. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/362176
  18. This is my TIE Interceptor MOC, designed from the movie models and the book Star Wars Complete Cross Sections. It shares its main structure with my TIE Fighter MOC, but with the distinctive Interceptor wings. Please leave feedback! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/362175
  19. This is my movie-accurate Lambda-Class Imperial Shuttle, designed from pictures of the movie model, set photos of the full-scale mockup used for filming, and the book Star Wars Complete Cross Sections. It is highly detailed inside and out, with a full interior with space for 6 minifigures in the cockpit and a further 18 in the cargo/passenger compartment and a detailed drive section. The wings are fully positionable, as is the boarding ramp, wing cannons, and fully retracting landing gear. The MOC borrowed the basic head design from the UCS model but is 1.5 times larger and much more faithful to the source material. This MOC took a week to build, with particular challenges in the wing fold mechanism and landing gear. Would love to hear feedback! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/380384
  20. Well, it started off nicely, I was hitting every target they threw at me. But I had it on full thrust for too long after trying to hit an X-wing leader for what seemed an age... and overheated an ion conducting relay. That fried the circuits, and what bloody good timing! An officer happened to be coming along. After getting an earbashing, I was told not to go back in it for a week and to read up on the flight manual again. Its been such a long day Tie flight sim by Daft Vader1, on Flickr http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ This is my first ever scenario trying to depict part of a storyline. The thought came to me trying to think what a pilot would be doing randomly in his spare time/life while on board the Death Star. Unfortunately my parts/plates etc is very limited, and so are my photo skills :( I often find it difficult trying to build something completely from scratch and so I can only apologise for the crudeness in which this appears in!
  21. Hi, I am not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but I hope so. On Cuusoo, Paulwiseone and myself have designed several updated TIE variants, designed to match the 2012 TIE fighter model. I am trying to drum up support for these models in the hope that Lego pays attention and starts building more of the imperial fighters into their Lego Star Wars lineup. Please check them out, and if you like them, support them. Thank you. :-) TIE Interceptor: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/31941 TIE Bomber: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/34378 TIE Advanced x1: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/21227 TIE Avenger: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/33269 TIE Defender: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/33270
  22. I recently stumbled on the work of Master Beef (with fries) on flickr, and his work is very impressive. Take for example his Lambda-class shuttle: Somehow he manages to interrupt the smoothness and appears to have altered some of the angles of the ‘real’ vehicle — and yet the model is unmistakeable, it looks very Star Wars-ish, and it looks refined, done with seemingly tacked-on shapes but with purpose, like good greebling. Plus there’s some very nice shaping in there. And don’t miss his other Star Wars MOCs, like his Y-wing and his 74-Z:
  23. This here is a ship I built just before my dark ages, about 5 or 6 years ago. I'm calling it the Grimm Galleon because it is a very depressing looking ship :P With it originally, the only minifigure was the Bluecoat with the Morion helmet, on a lonely 6 year voyage through the dark ages. Grim! Also, sorry for the bad image quality, I have yet to set up a proper place to take photos of things. Here's a view of the back of the boat, it seems the sail supports are slightly off :s there's 3 chests in behind the steering wheel, ready for pillaging! Here's a view into the cannons and the lower deck. Again, this ship isn't exactly a work of art, it's the last thing I made before my dark ages :p This is the Captain, who is just the Shakesperian actor from the collectible minifig series, with a peg leg and bicorne. He looks despairingly out across the blue oceans, Here's the final shot of the ship,... where it looks it's best. Pretend the Jolly Roger is a different flag, please! Anyways, I just wanted to get some pictures of this up here before I take it apart and build a different ship, probably based off the Carribean Clipper. Thanks for looking :) Please give me some constructive criticism!
  24. Edit: Please judge! The story so far: First Day Aboard the Avenger At The Table-Before The Storm Rescue Mission Reassigned Eliminating The Competition Target Practice *Imagine that the white background is sky where necessary (Still not too good at GIMP.)* The Build/Story: After some target practice, and a mission briefing, Beltar’s squad and one other squad where dropped off by Medical SSD Massacre and Medical Research ISD, Bludgeon. Once Savior One and Two were in the atmosphere: (On board Savior 1) Sarge: Here we go again. Another drop. Nervous aren't you, of course you are, first time you're gonna be jumping out of a ship... Beltar: Yeah…Also because I read the report of what Weisson is supposed to be doing down there… Sarge: That rebel base? Don’t worry. We won’t be going anywhere near that thing. I hope. *Pilot over Comm* This is your captain speaking. I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that we will be over the drop zone in T-Minus 20 minutes. The bad news is: I got one scary a** Rebel gun pointing at us. We are gonna have to start the drop sooner. I’m surprised that they’d shoot at two more ships with red crosses on the sides. Sarge: Cooper? Is that even possible? We were supposed to be far away from that. *Pilot* Yeah…We are…but that’s one heckuva cannon…Also Savior 2 has been hit, and has begun the drop. *Explosison* *Pilot* Woah! We're hit. What was that back there? Sarge: Uh, Rom ain’t comin down with us… Beltar: Well there he goes… He’s kinda dead now… *Pilot* Well that’s great. One hull breach and part of our shield was hit, along with Searchlight 1, even though we are dropping during the day. Sarge: Just try to get us a little closer! *Pilot* Alright, Savior 2 has just confirmed that all crew but the copilot is off, ‘cause the pilot is dead. And Malcom is putting her down. And I gotta get Kirk and the MP on the ground now. Opening Ramp at the same time. Sarge: Roger that Cooper…Knew you guys probably wouldn’t make it home… Begin drop sequence Gamma-Alpha Four. Also, inform Kirk to pull the shute a little earlier so we don't waste another hour like last time greasing up the joins from the force of landing... *Pilot* Haha! Will do Sarge. Beltar: What do you mean Sarge? By both those things? Sarge: Gamma-Alpha Four means the front jumps first, cause their gonna get hit first from a cannon. And normally, our pilots don’t make it home. Cooper has had a streak of five missions. I think his luck is up, he was good while he lasted. Beltar: Can’t he jump? Sarge: We don’t have enough supplies, and pilots are not trained for the field. Also, he has to set her down in the right place… The troops started filing one by one to the back. The scout with snipers and a light jetpack, Scourge with a stretcher, Boris with a stretcher, and Rodrick, carrying the tent and a couple other supplies. Most of the blasters and other supplies were stored on Savior 2, which was completely cleared before going down besides the co-pilot. Sarge: Move it along men, move it. Rodrick: Ah, poor Rom. Boris: Well let’s get a move on you slow scout! Scout: One sec, waiting for the right balance.. Boris: Oh come on! MOVE already! Beltar: They always like this during a drop? Sarge: They know we may be going down soon, they want to get off faster, before that happens. Boris: Alright boys, let’s make mom and dad proud. Jumpin’ into a zone while being shot at takes some courage...Also I'm last off" Scout: Well good Ol’ Boris, you a coward? Boris: Ah shut up, I’m always out last for section one, and you know that punk. Scout: Fine, let’s jump! Boris: See you down there Beltar and Sarge. Good luck on your decent! Geronimo! Beltar: see you down there… Sarge: Have a good flight! *Pilot* This is your captain speaking. Cabin 2 is lost, all crew in cabin two are dead from what I can see over my cam, so Beltar and Sarge, your turn. Better do it quick, I feel like that gun is getting a lock on us… Beltar: Come on! What are you waiting for sir! Sarge: I’m jammed! Beltar Go Go Go! Get off while you can! Beltar: Not leaving without you Sarge. Sarge: Come on lad, pull for cryin out loud! Pull! Beltar: Well you gotta push you know! Sarge: I AM! In about 15 seconds of pushing and pulling, it became unjammed, and Sarge rose up quickly to get his gear. Sarge: Alright, let’s go. Beltar: Agreed. *Pilot* This is your co-pilot speaking. Cooper is down, and I suggest you boys get off fast! See you on the other side. GO GO GO GO N--…. *Boom* Sarge: RUN! Beltar: I’m running, I’m going! Sarge: Now or never Beltar, we are higher than we are supposed to be but we got— Ah, jumping already… Beltar: I think I’d rather jump! Pilot Log: More Pictures in this spoiler. Bonus, I liked this one, so I didn't delete it, but I also didn't want to use it for the story pictures. This build was more of a filler, and to get my story moving, so that I can use my last 3 freebuilds, and to try to finish this arc before the next episode comes out... Hope you enjoyed, and as always, C and C welcome! ~Beltar
  25. Last week I bought two 75078 Imperial Troop Transports, because one can never have too many stormtroopers. I wasn't too pleased with the vehicle build and decided to rebuild the two of them into one transport, more faithful to the series/comics/etc. I managed to get close enough using only, 5 or so extra parts, 4 of which are 2x8 slopes, and one of which is a 6x16 plate that it's all built on. There are a few unused parts left over. To be more accurate it's missing the front guns and rear turret, however I will probably revise it to add them. The interior can hold about 5 figures in awkward seating positions, and there's no interior details at the moment. The lower half of the doors are 1x2 bricks which need to be taken out for the 'door' to be fully open. Probably will change that for a full door built out of plates on a hinge.
