Many sinister rumors had been heard throughout Mitgardia, concerning a new foe from the North, but there were few reliable reports of what exactly was happening. Official messengers had been dispatched to various cities and villages across Mitgardia to inform them of the little that was known for sure: strange white warriors were attacking, and Mitgardia would need to stand united to withstand them. A new fortress, Rekkrfell, was being constructed as a bastion against the frozen folk, and all able Mitgardian warriors were called to rally to it. A messenger warns the watchmen at Nordheim's gate: Video showing construction: C&C welcome, it was good to build in Mitgardia again

Erak had been replenishing the firewood supply of the little cabin near Daydelon's beacon, when he was surprised to see a bright flare in the distance. He quickly realized it was the Beacon of the Bay of Storms, and dropping the firewood, he hastily grabbed his torch and ran for the beacon. Once it was lit, he realized the significance of what must be happening, for even during the threat of civil war in Mitgardia, the beacons had not been lit... I used my new rockwork technique again here, with much more noticeable results. If you're interested in seeing how it's built, check out this album on Flickr: link I hope you guys like this one, it was a super fun build

This is my build for Tower Phase 1 in Age of Mitgardia. Many small hunting cabins lie in the wilderness of Mitgardia's clan lands. Clan hunters use the cabins as refuges from surprise blizzards, or as rest stops during long hunts. Some of these cabins have been built on top of the ruins of old fortresses: Nothing real fancy this time, just a quick build to get me going in AoM again

Next Chapter: The Tomb of Dar Askelohn Aeldric and Voraal usually took a circular patrol around the outskirts of Vanhorn, but this time they decided to take a different route. They traveled straight out west, on an old and forgotten road. They came across an old, ruined, and abandoned house which seemingly belonged to a Citizen of Avalonia. Though it wasn't necessarily abandoned, for the remains off the owner laid in a corner. Voraal peeked down a deep, dark hole in the flooring. He suggested to Aeldric that they explored it, for it seemed deep, and as if it held secrets down below. More Angles Below: The hole in the flooring: And the forests: I tried out a couple of different techniques for mini-trees here. The triple round 1x1 brick, and the dark-brown telescope.

Hereby a freebuild I've got sitting on a shelf for a looong time. In the Northwest of the Trifork, the Twins command the only river running from the Lake of the Trifork. All the other rivers are upstream from the Lake, supplying it with melting water from the cold north, rainwater from the central plains surrounding Cedrica and muddy waters from the forests of north west Kaliphlin. Via the water locks, the water level of the lake can be managed, including raising it to flood the lowlands south of the Trifork in case of attack or siege, limiting access to one metalled road, easing defenses. The water lock at the Twins is one of two, allowing traffic to pass through with minimal decrease in the water levels of the lake. The second one is upstream in the middle of the city. Apart from the towers themselves, the defenses also include a chain mechanism to block of the river (and to protect the waterlocks in times of peace). This is a build for the HSS challenge. Thanks for looking - C&C welcome

Warning-There are about 15 pictures and sorry about the lighting, the sun decided not to come out for a few days. Some notes: about 80k in pieces and roughly 17 days of actual build time. I hope you guys enjoy! The Reach..Vanguard of the Southern Rakath Range and surface capital of the Goblin Empire. It is also home to several different species, including Humans, Dwarves, Kozar, Goblin, and Orc, all living peacefully (Nocturnian peacefully that is) under the protection of the Goblin Empire. The town itself sits in a long, narrow valley, bordered by steep cliffs on one side, and the Vanishing River on another, named because it disappears and reappears in a series of sinks and springs as it makes it's way down to the ocean. The Fortress of the Reach sits at the far top of the valley, and consists of a series of courtyards and towers, design to make siege difficult. It is also connected to a vast cavern system, where reinforcements can be summoned if need be. The town itself sits within the Twilight Forest, aptly named due to its permanent assortment of warm colored trees, reminding those who travel and dwell within it of the sunsets.

A free build for Guilds of Historica. This is my second module for a large collab build with LittleJohn. The tailor and potter's were interesting challenges, being much different than my normal style of buildings. It was fun experimenting with some brighter colors as well. The potter's wheel actually works, and can be seen in action here: link Katoren's marketplace offers a large variety of goods, and is generally quite crowded. More pictures, here: link All C&C welcome, and we've still got more of Katoren coming

SoNE-EpVIII-Frbld1-Pic1 by kuatdriveyards17, on Flickr Pilot Kappa Seven of Delta Wing (that is, the wing stationed on ISD Avenger) of Ypsilon Legion. I'm a fresh recruit, which is why I'm piloting some cheap Bantha-class skiff instead of shooting down rebels in a TIE. SoNE-EpVIII-Frbld1-Pic2 by kuatdriveyards17, on Flickr Apparently there's some important near-planet-wide operation underway on Tatooine which no one cared to brief me about, so forces are being constantly deployed to numerous distant outposts. SoNE-EpVIII-Frbld1-Pic3 by kuatdriveyards17, on Flickr After a long, dreary ride we finally arrive at the comm post. It's not much and it is by no means self-sufficient- the only permanent structures are a comm tower, a defensive turret and a holotable- which is why troops and supplies must be brought every morning and returned to base by night. SoNE-EpVIII-Frbld1-Pic4 by kuatdriveyards17, on Flickr We all work to unload the cargo and set everything up. SoNE-EpVIII-Frbld1-Pic5 by kuatdriveyards17, on Flickr Naturally it isn't long after the work is done till we pull out the sabacc deck. Hopefully it won't be long until we actually get involved in this massively important operation that way I can actually feel like I'm making a difference as opposed to just ensuring the Empire can communicate more efficiently over a few square kilometers of sand. UPDATE: Here's an unedited pic of the whole build, as MKJoshA requested. SoNE-EpVIII-FrbldI-Pic6 by kuatdriveyards17, on Flickr Please have this judged.

Recently, the Tauri of the Ruadhi Brute Squad have noticed that their humble atelier has received a visit from a lady of distinction. The Alikos Tribe have long been isolationist, and even in their settlement at Ruadh, they rarely see Tauri from the outside world. This Lady Akantha, who claims to speak with the authority of the High Council, is unlike anyone of their own kind that they've ever seen. Some whisper that she seems "too human" and her words are "fancy trickery" while others, especially the young bulls, are smitten with her sophistication, her accent, and her tasteful accessorization. At the council meeting in Ruadh, where she was invited to speak in order to make a case against the settlement's neutral position in the war, she was accused of openly recruiting Brute Squad Tauri into the High Council militia. She doesn't deny it. In her eyes, the Tauri must stand and fight as one. To strengthen her claims, she flaunts her Tauri bodyguards, two bulls who long ago left their home tribes to join the cosmopolitan society of Kaliphlin. Lady Akantha speaks to both the bulls and the heifers, since in the Alikos Tribe, both genders learn the art of war. She holds in her hand a map of Ruadhi territory and beyond, showing that even with the stated position of neutrality, the High Council believes that sooner or later the atelier will be captured or worse. She weaves together both rousing patriotism and conciliatory sympathy in her speech. The older bulls and cows mutter that they've heard this like before, but the youngsters are riveted and listening...

This is my first module for my collab with LittleJohn. It was an interesting change to try a middle eastern style gatehouse, and I'm quite pleased with the result. Gates closed: There are more pictures here: link C&C welcome, and there's more of Katoren to come

In the middle of New Town, on the north bank of the river, the mill of the Trifork is located. Here grains from a wide area surrounding the Trifork is ground to flour before being shipped off by ship or caravan, sent to the bakeries, sold in the market, or stored in warehouses for times of need. (Or more favourable market conditions...) With a mill inside the walls, the Trifork is well-positioned to build up large stocks of grains and flour, meaning the Trifork rarely suffers in times of war and famine. Further, the traffic of grains going in and flour and bread going out, has established the Trifork as an important market for grains and related products. Avalonian wheat for north west Kaliphlin alone represent an immense volume of trade. Here the miller is loading a wagon with the last few hours of production, which will be going to the bakeries of Old Town south of the river. ====================================================================== This is a build for the HSS challenge. The mill rotates 360o degrees, so it can be turned into the wind. Further, there is a working grindstone inside, turning with the wind. Quite happy with the outcome of this, and looking forward for some feedback.

The fourth part of the story of how I joined the Rebel Alliance, following on from: Part One - http://www.eurobrick...opic=100455&hl= Part Two - http://www.eurobrick...opic=100584&hl= Part Three - http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=104509 I was being held in a detention cell with a pilot, whose name I had learned during our time detained together was Jaina Aldan. When a small group of soldiers rushed into the cell, I had acted in the heat of the moment, and helped to over power the Imperial officer who was pointing his blaster towards her. I had no choice now, I had to go with them. I followed these soldiers through the base, wondering how they planned to escape. It seemed desperate, three soldiers and the pair of us against who knows how many Imperial troops. Jaina seemed calm, and I sensed a slight mocking tone in her voice when she asked the leader of the soldiers, who I later learned was Sergeant Diggs, whether he remembered where the entrance to this base was. He turned to face her and I was suprised to hear him say that we were not heading for the entrance, as that is exactly what the Empire would be expecting. He then explained that he had watched a small freighter land at the base's only docking bay. The unloading of crates the freighter appeared to be nearly complete as the soldiers burst through the door into the docking bay. They quickly overwhelmed the stormtroopers closest to the door as they caught them off guard. I watched nervously as the remaining troopers took cover behind the crates, which formed natural cover for the troopers closer to the ship. The situation looked impossible until another small group of rebel soldiers appeared from the opposite side of the docking bay. "What kept you?" was shouted towards them as the two groups surrounded the Imperial troops, who quickly surrendered rather than be caught in the cross fire. After the Imperial troops dropped their weapons, Jaina and the Sergeant cautiously approached the freighter. "I hope you are not expecting me to pilot that heap of junk" she asked, laughing. "Well, there is a detention cell just waiting for your return if you're not up to it" I climbed up the ladder behind Jaina, taking a seat behind her in the cockpit. As we started to take off, I hoped my first every journey on a star ship would not be my last.... To be continued. I would like this to be judged please.

Meanwhile in the lands of always wint...er wrong story. The cold, barren, frozen wastelands of the high mountain valleys of the Rakath Range are some of the most foreboding environments in Historica. But not to Gal-Turok and his Goblin hordes. These mountain peaks are his fortress. Countless miles of tunnels and caverns, each guarded by small watch towers and outposts, serve as high ways to a vast underground Empire. Lonely, desolate and chilling to the soul, this land is the perfect strong hold. Gal Turok has just arrived from overseeing clan meetings of the various tribes in Nocturnus, and has returned to start making preparations for war. He has pledged his support for the Desert King, not out of any sort of loyalty or brotherhood, but to show the might of the Goblin Empire, and why he is The Great Goblin Uniter. 4th Wall: Despite this being a heavily inspired Mitgardia build, I wanted to do another project that shows the Nocturnus is still more than dank swampland, hence the cold desolate feel. Hope you guys enjoy it. Would like to make the following claims for UoP: +1 Studs up rocks and cliffs +1 Snow and Ice +1 Waterfalls +1 Fortification

Tundwar temple is a place in Rakath Mountains, where lives mage Huzgar. Eric and Ira, which they travel north in Mitgardia deliver him cereal grains from miller Emald, so now he can finish the spell. He is very satisfied and reward them with a potion that will give them strength through further journey. He also warn them that should be careful through the mountains, because they are full of orcs, especially in the Mitgardian Rakath Mountains. Before he returns to the temple just wish them a safe journey.

Hello, some time ago dwarven attack boats had been sighted in Tradewind Bay. Noone but the dwarves knew where they were heading. Their destination was a secret dwarf mine on a smaller island in Tradewind Bay. The mine was founded by Gangrosh (The Hammer). A statue of Gangrosh can be found near the entrance. A mechanism to open a secret door is included: What makes this mine special are the long railway paths leading into the mountain. This allows easy transport of mithril. ... and gold. Builder's notes: Building was fun, but photo-editing was an hour-eating nightmare. This is the largest display I have tried to capture. Was not so easy. So this is what has finally become of MOD: 7036 Dwarves Mine. C&C welcome!

Immediately after [soNE Freebuild] 7.4 Off the Books Goatm and his nurse disembarked the Imperial freighter both with their respective roles. Amid the constant noise and bustle of the docks Goatm would dicker out deals with the local merchants for the sale of the white saplings, so precious to the nobility of Aquilae. Many of the interested merchants were developers for high-end shops and personal landscapers for the elites; they paid little attention to Goatm other than to ask him when he would be returning with more and to schmooze him for the purpose of some future economic familiarity. Goatm had stayed in his Imperial white for this very reason; the merchants only saw a faceless officer rather than the dead man Goatm intended to keep hidden. Just as the last sapling was sold, Goatm called his enslaved Wookiee from the cockpit to inspect the freighter’s hull before takeoff. Shock and awe echoed across the dock as the merchants and tradesmen alike caught sight of the beast. The Empire had been especially jealous of its new species of slave and few had surfaced in the legal market. Meanwhile, after downloading the local Imperial intelligence reports on Aquilae, the nurse went about acquiring civilian clothes for the two ISB agents. Goatm had given her strict instructions to start at the shops outside the Imperial outpost and work her way across town, stopping at the stores of ever lowering levels of economic strife. Ideally, her effort would allow her to disappear with no one noticing the Imperial officer that traded in her illustrious uniform for peasant rags. Goatm’s refusal to sell or trade the Wookiee led to the high-end restaurant overlooking the dock where the merchants continued to hound him and liquor him up. Eventually Goatm found his mark. A flamboyant Ithorian strutted across the dock with a Kowakian perched on his back. He was inspecting a shipment of mining equipment aboard a large freighter and savagely berating the crew for some minor infraction. It wasn’t long before Goatm and the Ithorian –Ng’Ray Sti a mining entrepreneur, surveyor, and equipment supplier– were leaving the restaurant to discuss the Wookiee’s ownership on their way to Gordon –a dubious spaceport far from the capital. There, Goatm would rendezvous with the nurse, take on the new identity she prepared for him, and sell the Imperial freighter to a chop shop. Goatm had exchanged the Wookiee and their remaining cash for Ng’Ray’s stock of mining equipment and a one-way, no-questions-asked ride into the wasteland of Aquilae. The wastelands were known to the locals as barren, toxic, and completely devoid of life, but Goatm had suspicions to the contrary. He remembered his mother recounting the countless green hills under the beautiful green sky of Aquilae where she would play as a young princess. Imperial maps noted many long and entangled canals that led to hundreds of reservoirs far from the city, but only grey wasteland could be seen from above on the rare occasion that the pale green overcast lifted. The city-dwellers didn’t dare to test the longevity of their breathers outside the tall city walls and told horror stories of the deadly gas pockets and nocturnal predators of the wasteland. Something was amiss. To test his theory Goatm and the nurse set out with the flamboyant Ithorian surveyor for the reservoirs hidden in the Aquilae wasteland. Ng’Ray’s ship stays low across the grey, endless plains, avoiding any possible detection along the way. Hours later they drop into a valley to find a bright blue reservoir surrounded by deep green grasses and piercing white flowers. Goatm lowers the cargo door, clipping the canopy of the low lying trees, and the nurse leaps into the canal below. Ng’Ray, rattled by the unexpected departure, screams over the internal comm for Goatm to explain but realizes his radios are dead. Goatm is gone, already tumbling through the thick grass as the Ithorian hears a deep growl from the cargo bay below. Eric and Ira are leaving Moruth swamplands and traveling to Avalonia. Their journey leads them first to the north to Mitgardia and currently are visiting Emald in Whonntvor in Malakaris swamp. Emald is a miller which produces flour in very difficult conditions. He needs their help and asks them if they can take a small packet of cereal seeds to his friend Huzgar, which is a mage and live in the Rakath mountains. Huzgar desperately needs these seeds and will reward them for their efforts. He says that he wanted to visit him, but it is old and does not feel healthy and possible for such a long journey. Emald greatly appreciates their help and thank them with a pack of flour. Eric and Ira accept his request, thank him for pleasant rest and continue their journey. I was afraid to build round towers only because of the roof. They never looked good enough. However, here I even like it.

Brullwor is a place in Moruth swamplands. Deep in the middle of the swamp stands a house, which is home to a girl named Ira. Ira is a lonely girl, which she hates this place, and dreams about a beautiful green land of Avalonia, which passers travelers told her about this land. When she was a child and hang out with Eric from the far Bluwhorm, he promised her that one day they will leave together this place and go in search of another place, much friendlier. That day she was delighted when he visited her, especially because she loved flowers and he brought her a bouquet of flowers Mireirien, pink flowers that are rare and grow in a very dangerous and difficult places to reach. Of course, the day which was really dreadful has now been wonderful and their journey now begins. So, I made another house similar to the previous. Still, I did not get tired of such buildings, but I really have to change something. The story is also nothing special. However, this is one of my biggest creations built on the panel 48X48.

The calvacade of horses picked their way across the stony ground, the steep, rocky walls of the canyon watching them pass. Vladivus eyed Angfauglir, the warlord confident despite being surrounded by elite Knights of the Inner Keep. It was not the same when the Lord of Shadowmere had last seen him. The clash of steel upon steel was still fresh in the half-vampire's mind. Many warriors of the Shadowmere Guard had fallen that day, and it had only been a reckless charge by Vladivus himself that had allowed his battered forces to retreat. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------. At first, the battle had gone well, Vladivus and the Shadowmere Guard exacting a punishing toll as the first of the Covenant warriors met them. Vladivus had hopped up on a rock to wave his forces onwards, the Lord of Shadowmere cutting an imposing figure arrayed in his armour, a cloak the colour of stormclouds billowing from his shoulders, and the Dragon Helm of Dor-Lomin sitting upon his head. Then Angfauglir himself had charged. The warlord and his guards were mounted on mighty black warhorses, and they thrust into the Shadowmere Guard lines, zombies and orcs flying aside as the horses hooves pounded onwards. Angfauglir's staff blazed with malevolent red light, and the magical blasts emanating from it slew many a warrior. Whilst the Knights of the Inner Keep, in their heavy armour, had managed to hold their section of the line, the charge by Angfauglir had turned the battle in his favour. Vladivus saw that only a miracle would prevent the utter rout of his army, and in a moment of foolishness he called out a mighty challenge to Angfauglir, his voice ringing loud across the battlefield; "Face me you Spire whelp!" And Angfauglir did. Vladivus remembered little of the duel after the first few blows. The next he remembered was awakening covered in grievious wounds, surrounded by Lady Sithanna and her Manbat warriors. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vladivus' mind drifted away from the battle. What was it Krell had said when he heard Angfauglir was coming to Shadowmere? "Old Friends". Vladivus snorted to himself with the memory. He looked ahead, the citadel of Shadowmere rising imposing and black into sky. The road to Shadowmere was almost at an end. ============================================================================================================================ So the next part of the collab between myself, Mass Editor and Jorrith. Credit goes to Mass Editor for the opening shot, and the microscale Shadowmere has been posted before, albeit many moons ago. This was my second or third attempt at a battle scene- I tried to make it a bit more dynamic. I'm also away from my usual Lightbox (I really need to start editing my pictures...). Anyway, C+C is always welcome! A few more pics are on Flickr.

The Tree of the Dead is one of Nocturnus' many holy sites, shrouded in mystery as dark as its bark. Said to be one of the original trees of Nocturnus, the Tree of the Dead has long been venerated by various groups in the Darklands. Many make pilgrimages to the site to pay respect to deceased loved ones. Others offer personal belongings in hopes of finding them in the afterlife, while magic men seek it for the power it supposedly contains. Though only a few branches remain and none produce leaves, herbologists claim the tree is still alive. Skulls were placed inside the tree by worshippers long ago but some rumor the tree actually serves as a gateway to the underworld. Thanks for looking, feedback always appreciated!

We are almost ready to take the spy into custody. Right after, you will inform B-Squad and any high ranking officers of what happened. I know some if not all of B-Squad will not take this easily. Captain Vars: Yes, Sir. Contact me when you're ready. Admiral Brickton: Excellent, I will also see to it personally that the Rebel is apprehended. I will come aboard shortly after I contact you. I will bring some troopers to detain him, and to transport him to the station. You may continue with any other plans you have after that, Captain. Captain Vars: *Sigh* Very well, Sir. Contact me when it's time. SONEe3s17 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Admiral Brickton: Soon, the Rebel Scum will learn not to spy on the mighty Galactic Empire.
