I got the Monday 5th January email too... Double points for VIPs who made purchases on the VIP event. One day only... either in store or online. It just means I'll have to delay picking up Slave 1 and some of the SW and SH wave until 5th but I'm not missing out on double points on £300 worth of spend just to get stuff 4 days earlier.

I'm kind of glad these won't be out just yet in the UK. Got an email today giving double VIP points for January 5th so I'll gladly wait until all the sets are out. I think this looks like a really tidy set... Good figure choice, although I agree that the single sided head is a little lazy and the builds look quite nice too.

£48.99 was the lowest before that but it jumped up to £53.99 shortly after. I'd say it's about the best we're going to get a £70 set for in the UK... Gone are the days of ASDA or Tesco dropping these things to half price it seems!

Rocket isn't an exclusive so I'm not too bothered for his release... I hope SY put out Spiderwoman and Green Arrow. I can see both of them doing the whole Justice League roster from the January releases once they're out. I'm hoping they go for some new game designs or some completely new figures. Imagine if they released some of the new 52 comic variants such as Harley Quinn and Catwoman... They'd look amazing! Stan Lee? There's still Daredevil... Polybag Electro? Blue Beetle and Booster Gold? John Stewart? Space Ghost? As a Batman fan I'd love a Talia Al Guhl, Ras Al Guhl, a League of Shadows Assassin and maybe a Talon or Azrael? Black Mask? I could go on...

Anything that isn't Lego should clearly be labelled as such... Plain and simple. With regards to those blanks I've always thought that the plastic colour was a little bit off... more noticeable on things such as light flesh really. The transparent figures do look pretty good though... that trans clear could be really useful!

The cross beams really don't bother me that much and if some of the things I've read are true then there may be a very good reason for the sabre looking like this...

They look great! Somehow Seven of Nine doesn't look quite curvy enough! ;)

I thought I'd commented on this already! The build looks great and the comparison shot really helps... for some reason I was imagining this being much taller than the Lego version but they're not too far away. They both look sufficiently different to be able to have them side by side on display and I agree that this just makes the Lego one look like it doesn't have a head!

Good luck with your build! I've seen quite a few small models of football stadia over the years but I can't think of another example of a stadium build to this scale in Lego... it might be nice to see a few more attempted. I'm wondering where I'd start with Goodison?

I'm glad I managed to pick up Christo's version a few months ago but this one look sufficiently different that if it was released either by TLG or bootleg it wouldn't just look like a duplicate.

I managed to order one with the free shipping to a friends house who is shipping it to me in the UK. Looking forward to it!

The polybag Rocket Raccoon figure is actually selling for less than the figure in the Knowhere set at the minute! Best to keep hold of them I think or you'll be looking at just a little over your original cost.

I think if SY did a Suicide Squad pack it would be one of the highlights of the year... Up there with the UCS Slave One.

I think that mixture of LBG and DBG really works on the undercarriage area... and I agree with the comments above about the transition between slopes... that really works. Looks like a really solid little build that could easily be an official set. The colour scheme looks fantastic!
