  1. Any help with finishing this axle? It's based off this but I want to reduce the number of gears used. https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing
  2. I'm building a truck chassis and I need a compact driven, independent suspension (travel should be small, however), steered (with wide range of steering) axle. My first thought was 42021 front axle, but that's hard to add drive to. Any ideas? The setup should be around 12 studs wide. Thanks!
  3. How do I put multiple .ldr files in one .mpd? When I put in a second .ldr I only see that one and not the first .ldr I imported. Thanks!
  4. How do I delete 1 piece from a group of parts in MLCad? Thank you.
  5. This is a cool idea! We need to do this with more supercars. The only hard part is finding the mass.
  6. I like this car a lot. However, could you have tried something like adding extra L motors like this: Or This: And maybe add a lockable differential if you want a "drift mode": http://sariel.pl/down/live-axle-difflock.pdf (I have the MLCad file if you need it, with Sariel's permission.) http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=103713
  7. You should try to add drive to it. I bet you have room for it! Overall very impressive.
  8. If Tommy says it's a good video it's a good video
  9. The wheels seem unrealistic- never heard of an off-roader lawn mower (: You could use the Unimog wheels, or wheels from 9395.
  10. Looks good! Very interested in this model.
  11. This looks good to me! However, I would get third-part RC wheels. You could ask someone else about those, I'm not an expert. (The Power Puller wheels don't look right on this; you should use them on an off roader instead )
  12. These tools are very well-designed. They may have some flaws but I am thankful you are giving back to the TFOL community.
  13. You can get a Dropbox account at dropbox.com. Then, go to the plus sign, hit "upload files", and navigate to the LXFs! If you are willing to share LXFs, I would love the LXF of this model. Or this model: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=103561 It works! Thank you.
  14. This looks excellent. Looking forward to the finished MOC.
  15. Has anyone started making an LDraw file for this set yet? Would love to see it reverse engineered
  16. Would the front and rear axles in 42000 be good for a Scania R500 based off Sariel's version (http://sariel.pl/2010/07/scania-racing-truck/)? They look rather light and robust, they were intended for a supercar as well, and they're not too parts-expensive. Can anyone who has built 42000 say how much torque or RPM the axles could handle? Thanks. See the latest version of my mod of Sariel's R500: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xqlj5hrugoj7ast/Sariel%20Scania.ldr?dl=0 Would these axles be good for this scale?
  17. Audi has used it since 1986 http://www.audi-technology-portal.de/en/drivetrain/quattro_en/torsen-differential :)
  18. If it did go off-road the Torsen diff would be useless; it'll be for in case one wheel gets in water/ice/slippery grass/etc.
  19. If I have 5 L motors hard-coupled, geared from between 1:1 and 1:9, would Efferman's Torsen Diff be damaged? Also, would you recommend it in a "supercar", compared to a lockable diff?
  20. Thanks! I read that article http://sariel.pl/2014/10/dune-buggy/ and , but I didn't know it used a Torsen diff. I will buy one of these. The small size is super impressive! How much torque or rpm can it handle, though?
  21. How do I determine the torque bias on a Torsen diff (how much more torque the greater-traction wheel gets than the lower-traction wheel)? Thanks. I'm most curious about this one (and how much torque and rotational speed it could handle): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=259949
  22. Can I have a second round? Since this model still doesn't look finished
