  1. Alright, I found this: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=6218589 So do you stop the autovalve once the cylinder is full of air, or does it have to run continually?
  2. Can you explain how the air suspension works?
  3. I'm working on building a Scania R500 6-wheeler, like Sariel's, but with additional features. In real life, R500s have air suspension. I'm wondering what the most efficient design for this would be- whether I should use autovalves, just valves, etc. This guy did it well, but not using Lego: Any ideas? I know 9398's predecessor used air suspension, but I think something different should be used here. I want it to be as small as possible, use as few motors as possible, allow fine control to pump more air in or out to adjust ride stiffness or ride height (more stiffness for less body roll while racing, and lower height for racing, greater height for driving once the race is over, ) and not leak air. Later I will add air brakes, using Sheepo's design on his Mustang:
  4. I copied it from the download bar in Google Chrome to my MLCad Models folder. It works great! Thanks Sariel. One question: how do I import one MLCad model (this one) into another one, the Scania R500, which I will use this cool gearbox in?
  5. Alright, thanks, I didn't realize you emailed me this. When I download the file, it's opened in LDView. I changed the file extension from .pov to .ldr or .dat, but MLCad won't open it. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
  6. I asked you for this 6 hours ago on YouTube and you wouldn't give it to me  :sceptic: How do I open that file in MLCad 3.4? It is saved as a .pov, which I can't open in MLCad.
  7. I agree. IMO the Hurucan requires a Model Team approach to capture the angles in the curves. Look at this (except it should look a bit different, being a Huracan, not a Gallardo):
  8. I hope to God Nicjasno can build us more affordable engines!!!!!!
  9. I have made Sariel's 4-speed servo in MLCad. The file is very sloppy, however- some parts are going through others. I am new to MLCad and I am still impressed with the results. Could anyone help correct the transmission file?   I shared the file first with Sariel so it's OK The file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/47tdsp9wwmt7or8/Sariel%20Scania.dat?dl=0 The .pdf (not mine): http://sariel.pl/down/4speedservotransmission.pdf The video (not mine):
  10. Thanks! That's exactly what I needed. How did you get the "LDD Builder" badge below "Country: USA"?
  11. My MLCad 3.4 shows, in 4 windows, a rotatable view pane, a top-down view, a front-on view, and a right-face view. How do I change settings to show left-face, bottom-top, and a back-on view?
  12. Hello, I am preparing a Hard Truck Contest chassis for my LUG. The requirements are: 8878 battery Front axle steering (obviously) PF headlights and taillights No rare parts No rare colors 1+ L motor for propulsion Servo or M motor for steer 10-14 stud width Studfull Optional: Ackerman steering geometry Simple (rachet 2-speed or sequential 4-speed?) gearbox; must be small. Suspension Any advice? I plan on using diffs. Primary influence:
  13. I give you an A+. Can you do 42041 (8041) next? I'm impresssed.
  14. Seems like the 5X7 studless frame could be flipped around to increase ground clearance. Very cute and small
  15. With the set instructions and the walker instructions, I could build this
  16. Someone, please upload the file! He's giving it out to anyone who leaks their email address, so he wouldn't mind us Dropboxing it.
  17. I'm impressed you noticed the difference with the 24t gears...
  18. Why would you want to minimize ground clearance? Also, are there any other battlebots?
  19. Would this increase the range of the lego IR receivers, or the power delivered to the motor?
