I love the classic smiley face. I replaced the new faces with all classic smiley in my town. The great thing about Lego is you can custom a set to your liking, you don't have stick with what's provided in the box. Don't like something? MOD it to your personal tastes.

Creating a LUG is not much different than creating any kind of social recreation club. You need to get a group of interested people together. You'll have to market the idea to drum up interest and membership. Decide on how to structure the club. You can have formal bylaws/rules on how the club is run or you run it informally. Who is going to do what in the club? Does the club need money to run? Do you want to have membership fees and./or other ways to raise money. Where to hold meetings? Physical location or virtual meetings. What kind of activities and events you want to do or get involved in? I think for The Lego Group to recognize your LUG and provide support, you need to have an online presence like a club website, a minimum of number of members and a minimum number of events that your LUG participate in annually.

Anyone bought a LEGO Set from LEGO's Online Store?

Speed of BrickLink depends on the individual store. Some are faster than others. Still faster than Pick A Brick orders. -
I can see the white croissants being useful in the another Tournament of Retribution for the ghost of Admiral Pastry fig. So many good bits in this set. No, that's the ring she will use to rule over him.

There is enough room in the back to build an outhouse if your figs have to go.

Perhaps it is so kids can breathe if they stick a head with the holes into their nostril. I tried and I can breathe through it but it was tough to get out. -
REVIEW: 21018 United Nations Headquarters

Nice review. UN is an interesting place. I got a tour of the small booths where the translators sit when the assembly is in session. They have a window view into the hall. I hope those trans light blue eventually make the Pick A Brick wall. -
Your ship is nicer. Would you sell it for 129.99 € ?

Harbour Crane
dr_spock replied to KirTech LAB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Nice work. Cable management reminds of the real cranes I see at the harhour. Those cranes don't move really fast on the tracks. I was working at the port and parked my car on the track. I had plenty of time to get it out of the way. -
I guess Daewoo could built them for less. Here is a time elapse of the Triple E construction: http://gcaptain.com/building-the-worlds-largest-ship-in-50000-pics/
