Welcome aboard. -
The rail is made from a flexible tubing material kind of like the Lego Technic tubing with a slot cut into it. It looks like the same size. It grips the connectors fairly tight. It is my "ride at your own high risk" Friend extreme theme park. Please sign the waiver first. Cool. What type of work do you do with coasters? It is possible to do inversions without the train falling off the tracks. Here is a close up of the wheel sets upside down. There is a dog tooth underneath that you can use Technic chain links to pull up the train. I haven't tried that yet since I haven't received my order of Lego chain links. Like real life coasters, you have to watch the forces you put on your brick built cars. It is possible to separate the car from the wheel set with too violent a turn. I sent Friend Mia to her death a few times. (You can cheat and use a bit of white glue to hold the car to the wheel set.)

Welcome aboard, Ryan. Which themes are you and wife into?

Awesome video. The lobster looks tasty too.

Welcome aboard.

I started making a Friends coaster using the kit. The car uses two of the 6 sets of wheels in order for Mia to fit properly. Using minifigs, you could have one minifig sitting on each wheel set. ..

It doesn't hurt if you ever need to order some parts.

Beautiful locomotive. Very nice interpretation.

Why don't you announce it with a brickfilm? You can have yourself and your wife as minifig characters. The plot can be different ways of announcing the "secret". Then surprise her by watching the film together.

Very nice truck crane. Looks like something the Manitex crane company would build. -
Here in Quebec province (Canada), publicity aimed at kids is illegal..
dr_spock replied to SheepEater's topic in Community
There are exceptions in that law like ads in children magazine or publicity for a children show. As a parent I can see where such a law is useful. My kids would not be pestering me to buy things they saw on TV. -

Way cool. Great job. How long did it take to complete? -

I'm using Firefox with Windoze and can get a couple L-motors in the cart and calculate shipping based on my old USA zip code. Then I can continue checkout as a guest. I can get that far... But I am not going to order them from Lego Education. Going to wait until S@H so I can use my VIP points.

I have more figs than I can display. I keep them around in a box for vignettes.
