6 kits in and my first missing piece!
dr_spock replied to Malikon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I've been pretty lucky. No missing or broken pieces since coming out of the dark ages a few years ago. LEGO has an online form for missing/broken pieces. -
Do you mean ToroLUG?

Compatability of lego and duplo bricks?
dr_spock replied to emilstorm's topic in General LEGO Discussion
We use 2x4 bricks to transition from Duplo bricks to regular studs. They fit right over the Duplo studs. -
Welcome aboard.

Welcome to Eurobricks, McDuder.

Greetings. Our LUG was invited to Star Wars Days at the local LEGO Discovery Center. I built a Star Wars Imperial Troop Train for the event. It was inspired by amoured trains of the previous century. My MOC is armed with turbolasers and missiles and blasters. Imperial Troop Train par dr_spock_888, sur Flickr Here is a video of the train running at the event. The place was very kid noisy. Recovered from two days of displaying at the LEGO Discovery Center and unpacked my MOCs. Lost one snowtrooper. I think he might have been kid-napped.

Where is the best place to buy a particular brick in bulk?
dr_spock replied to Malikon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You could try the pick a brick wall at your local Lego Store. -
Which element do you use the most of?
dr_spock replied to Hrw-Amen's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think lots and lots of Technic pins. -
What Real Life Train is Based of the 7938?
dr_spock replied to Darthluke824's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I think that might be a picture of the Stadler GTW 2/8. I made one of those GTW 2/6 in DB colors: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=92875 Although I didn't have a 7938 set, 7938 would mod nicely into one. What is it like riding the GTW? I have only seen pictures of them online. I think those Stadler designers may have cloned LEGO Airport Shuttle monorail. -

I think they also look a bit like the Stadler FLIRT. You can probably modify your 7938 to any of the trains mentioned. -
Welcome aboard. She is a keeper.

The pieces to fill the PAB wall are shipped to the stores in cardboard boxes. The boxes are something like 10"x8"x6" in size. If they have enough stock, they could sell you a full box for $120 CAD. (The $110 CAD I posted earlier was incorrect.)

Nice. What size hole did you drill in the wheels?

Can't wait to see where this ends up. :) -
You don't have to follow along the numbered bag system. You can always just open all bags and toss all the pieces into a big pile. Numbered bags are great for those could make use of it or appreciate it.

I filled a big cup today and it is still the same at $19.99 CAD. The small cup is going up by one dollar to $11.99 CAD.

I used a Technic liftarm for a semi-permanent coupling: Or just a simple Technic axle with stop to join my articulated cars: What does your model look like?
