Very nice. Great use of R2 legs.

Do you have a water softener? Sounds like you have hard water in your area and you are getting calcium deposits.

One tip for buying a lot of LEGO on a trip and bringing it back. Bring a big duffle (soft bag) and pour all the LEGO out of the boxes and into the bag. Recycle the boxes. That's assuming you're not wanting to keep everything MSIB.

[MOC] Just another Tatra
dr_spock replied to Doc_Brown's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Just another good looking blue tatra, eh? Good work. -
I don't think the 8258 is worth spending $300+ USD for me. It is a good looking model and not that rare.

You should join a LUG (Lego Users Group) if you are interesting in participating in the LUGBULK program.

That's some trip. Did you get a chance to venture into Mexico and Canada? 25000 miles, might be time for an oil change.

A little dizzying with the hard turns but fun nonetheless.

Not sure if this has been posted. A closer up look at the 2014 train sets and station from New York Toy Fair by FamilyGamerTV.

Project Shipyard
dr_spock replied to Edwin Korstanje's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Will it use an insane amount of liftarms? -
Molto bene. How is the front windshield done?

First repair of 2014. Replaced the front engine mount on the Honda. You can see the rubber cracked right through on the old one. The change was easier than I thought. The bolts weren't seized like my previous muffler job.

You could put in a warning about the level of language. The viewer can then chose to watch it or not. Some people may be sensitive to foul language.

Very nice. Great job on the nose. Did you use a drill press or free hand for the LED holes?

Built my 2013 Christmas present from my daughter. It's the Creator Mech. Really liking the lime green. I think it needs a big gun.

The latest addition to my collection. A member of my LUG gave me a bag of random Technic parts. I was screaming like a little girl when I sorted it and noticed I had about 85% of the pieces to build the 8854 Power Crane. I haven't built a studded Technic sets before. It felt different from studless. The old Technic pieces also seem different like they are harder plastic with less give. It was still fun. 8854 Power Crane by dr_spock_888, on Flickr

Ex-News Scout scouting for new themes -- I am no longer scouting for pirates. I think by Admiral Croissant.
