Fabuland Questions From The Younger Generation
dr_spock replied to Actor Builder's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Have you taken a look through the pinned topics at the top of the forum? -> http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=59901entry1068420 Fabuland characters do have names like Bonnie Bunny. I think heads could come off if you pull hard enough but I am not going to test on my Fabuland characters. Monkeys -> http://www.fabuland.net/pages/inventory/figpic.html#monkeys -
AFOL convention season is starting up again. Who knows if any trains will be revealed at one of them. We need some industrial spies inside LEGO. Any volunteers?

It looks like it could be a 18-20 stud long model with 10 studs between wheel centers. If you want to motorize it there are number of options. It is a small single standalone car so you might be able to get away driving the axles with an elastic band to keep it simple and costs down. Since you're a Technic guy, you probably have lots of M-motors. I don't think the train motor would look right since the spacing between wheel centers is 7 studs. Have fun.

Last time I ordered from Toys'R'Us, they slapped a shipping label on the 8294 box and shipped it like that. The box arrived beat up. I was surprised nothing leaked out.

Megablok and LEGO can play nice together.

You can setup together on a fair ground. When the county fair is happening, you can have additional rides and attractions truck in like the Mixer. Alternatively, the two can be large rides in the bigger sized urban city parks which sometimes have zoos and train rides or pond boat rides.

You could try putting some rubber tubing on the ends of pliers to grab the head without scratching.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

I borrowed and built a UCS ISD. It was a nice long build. The end result was display only model that took up a lot of space. I wanted the 10030 back then but not so much now. It depends on what your SW needs and goals are. -
I've seen them before but haven't used one. It is cheaper to modify an unwanted piece of flex track. Cut the ends flush with the last tie and old 12V rails and plate can go against it. Use some tiles or plates to hold them together.
