  1. Maybe the new baby. ;)
  2. With rechargeable AAAs, you can get 12 batteries. 6 in the box running, and 6 recharging or recharged ready to swap in when the others are drained. What is your budget? How much are you willing to spend?
  3. I've been playing around with a hand me down P&S camera that supports manual modes. One of these was taken with a dSLR and prime lens. The other was with a manual P&S. Post-processing was resizing to comply with Eurobricks Site Guidelines for picture size. I think you can get pretty good results straight out of a P&S camera with the right settings and shooting conditions and EB size policies.
  4. How hard would be to make your own? 100 SMT white LEDs are $1 on eBay. Seems like a spool of 37ga copper winding is $4.
  5. Maybe a MLP (mobiile launch platform) on top. It could be made mostly hollow inside to save on weight.
  6. So pretty and yet so deadly. Gamora by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  7. I've been to a couple LEGO store grand openings. If it is the first LEGO store in your city then do get there early as possible as the line fills up really fast. By the 3rd LEGO store opening in my city, it wasn't quite as crazy as the novelty waned.
  8. Good looking train.
  9. It's fun to see how my photos are interpreted by the viewers. Now that's a whale of a tail.. Everyone knows the ladies go for Redcoats 9.8 times out of 10.
  10. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  11. Congratulations! Excellent work.
  12. Red versus Blue for the best harpoonist of the 7 seas. Day 175 of 365: Harpoon Championship Target by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  13. That could be a fun job in researching materials that have the same properties as ABS plastic. I guess they have to be forward looking to a time when the world's crude oil supply for making plastics is scarce and too expensive.
  14. A Dremel rotary tool with a polishing wheel attachment and Brasso might help save your fingers. Bra is too expensive until it is an old worn out one you no longer need.
  15. Are you blushing?
  16. Is there a man? I see a blade of grass. That seems to be what the photographer wants the viewer to focus on.
  17. Welcome aboard, Dario.
  18. Welcome to Eurobricks.

  20. Maybe for the Euro someone set family house higher assuming it will be more popular than pony farm and make overall sales revenue target on its back. Perhaps they have some past sales stats for the region that houses sold better than ponies. For pounds it could be licensing fees are higher in the U.K. Who knows what kind of license agreement was negiotated. Or Spidey is popular in the U.K. and they can get away charging more. Who really knows since we don't have access to their pricing models and strategy. At the end of the day, as the consumer you get to decide if those highly paid managers who approved the price are correct that you're willing to part with your hard earned money on.
  21. You have to take the 's' out of https in the link. Make it http... and it should work here. Thanks for sharing.
  22. Welcome aboard, Kamil.
  23. Sometimes I question my sanity of trying to take a Jar Jar photo a day for 365 days. It can be a real drag some days. Day 173 of 365: Racing Drag by dr_spock_888, on Flickr I think it has help me find a cheap simple setup and cut down the number of pictures I have to take to get at least a good one.
