Now that we know what sets are going to be released this summer, we can start putting together our wishlist for december again... And because I couldn't find the old post, I started this new one: 2 sets for the new movie have already been released: - Fleeing from the Mirkwood spiders - Barrel escape So my hopes are for the following sets: - Lake Town, containing Bard, a building and some docks (size like Barrel Escape) - Beorn's house, containing Beorn, a bear, some dwarves and a reasonable house (size like Bag End) - Lonely Mountains, containing Smaug, Bilbo, Lair in a part of a mountain (size like Goblin King) And 2 sets of the first movie, because we already have 2 of the second one - Troll encounter, containing Kili, Fili and Bilbo, 2 moulded trolls, one brick build stone version (size like Attack of the Wargs) - Dol Guldur, containing Radagast, Wizard King of Angmar, some ruins and slede (size like Mirkwood Spiders) Looks like a nice list, wouldn't you agree

It was a lovely weekend... received all 6 Hobbit sets friday and had a few ours for myself to build them. Overall: The minifigs (and the maxifig Goblin King) are really a must have for every medival MOCer. The scenery is well build and as LOTR sets very useful. The best set: Warg attack, because the build of the tree is so brilliant... I knew with this theme TLG woudl develop some nice trees, but this one is best.

On brickshop.nl you can buy a package deal of 5 of the 6 Hobbit sets with reasonable discount... (almost € 35,)
-
Awaiting my order of the Hobbit sets... just had to have them all
-
any news on the european market.... can't wait to get the sets and "sinterklaas" is on it's way
-
I agree and I think it will be as big as the T-Rex. I expect it to be build like the dragon in the Viking sets (so approx 80 pieces) then there will be enough pieces left for some nice scenery
