I got the complete Hobbit winter 2014 sets in last week... bought 2 of the Mirkwood Elf Army another Mirkwood Spider set is on my wishlist. My elven army is slowly growing...

Wow... this is what I love... a nice clean build with loads of detailing and story telling. Just astouning.

Great review... About the set... parts are very useful. Great set for Orc army builders. The only thing that bothers me is the integrated head/hair piece of Beorn. They could simply solved this like they usually do with beards. A must have for me... got it

Great review, and I agree... yesterday I put the set together and without the use of the stickers (which I hate) it is a greyish blob. Little real interesting parts. Figs are good... love Radagast and Azog.

Awesome... I will start early next week. Today all new Hobbit sets will arrive, so Hemresa's elven army that Nar Bilu is summoning will be ready to departure for Nocturnus soon.

I totally agree my friend... I actually tore down all my SW structures and half way build MOC's to participate the fight for Nocturnus. Not because I lack interest for SW, but just because I lack time and the GoH seems a much more active community and thus much more fun to participate in. You made your statement clear, and I agree fully. So lets act ... or join Avalonia

Hej guys and gals, The Hemresa Legion is preparing for departure to Nocturnus. Nar Bilu spoke to the elven lord. He agreed to summon an army of elves to assist Nar Bilu in his journey. Which elven army should join? 1. the mountain elves 2. the forest elves 3. the shadow elves Love to hear which one you would like in my story

Backside of the Mirkwood Elf army and the ambush are also available I really love this set... the figs that is. Will buy multiple of these for an elven army. Only wish that I have is some elven helmets would be cool.

I can see how everyone sound a bit disappointed, however I'm going to get all the sets. Maybe even two of the elven army. Nice way to get some extra wargs, enough elves for my Avalonian army and the sigfigs of all sets are great. Except Beorn maybe, but I like the hairpiece. Only thing that irritates me, is that the orcs are in a different colour again... but there are enough though.

3 ABY (38:8:1) Tatooine Nar Bilu and her crew was send out to investigate information about the Black Sun in the desert east to Mos Eisley. Vision was clear when they left but within an hour or two they were caught in a hail like sandstorm. Nothing could be done, except land the obtained dune speeder in the sand. A small miscalculation crashed the vehicle on a hard rock and throwing the crewmembers 25 feet out of the cockpit in one of the sand dunes. Nar Bilu and her pilot were unharmed, so far. The sand is taunting their skins. It is time to find shelter as soon as possible. As Nar Bilu checks her com, a distress signal beeps not far from here. As she discussed the transmission with her pilot, a silhouette of an enormous vehicle places a signature in the yellowish storm. A sandcrawler stops at their crash site and ten Jawa’s exit the vehicle and start plundering the crashed dune speeder. A single shot seizes the small men of their task and Nar Bilu approaches them with her weapon held up in the air. After short negotiations, she agrees the Jawa’s may plunder the wreckage in exchange for a small vessel, which was stored in the sandcrawler. Along with her pilot, Nar Bilu chases after the distress signal, which seems Rebellion. Arriving at the location, an sand covered Empire ship sharpens her senses. Under a sail she notices a rebellion soldier covering from the storm. The only survivor of this battle. prelim pictures Episode II I really love the story, but I found it hard to build something nice and clean, so advise would be helpful. Also having only one of the 3 main sets wasn´t helpful. The allowed plates and a few signature parts of the A-Wing are missing in my collection. Extra parts so far: Sail (4549623 – Ewok wing) Baseplate (4616163 – Scorpion Pyramid) Emperial helmet (4659193 – Stormtrooper helmet sand) One extra minifig

Hej Guys (and Gals), Finally I had to time to build "the Hemresa Outpost", plotnumber 67. This is a recruitement office, led by three diplomats. A retired dwarf guardian, an elf prince and a battle harvened human female who earned her stripes in the cold north.
