  1. Back at Hemresa south gate, I discovered that the walls that I was supposed to protect were raided by savages and a new regime raised their flag above the gate. As I approach only to be shot at and be driven back into the forest. Strolling past the wall, out of sight of the guards walking on top, I engage a small fight on the western wing. A small legion of swordsmen and archers try to break through the barricade and open up trade routes to the north again. My sword buries itself in the skull of a savage, just in time to save one of the soldiers. He looks over his shoulder and nods thankfully. After a harsh match, the continues flow of savages seem to stop and we are victorious. The leader of the legion, takes of his helmet and greets me. When I take of my hood, he falls into my arms as he recognises me as his lord. Nar Bilu of Hemresa. Before I knew it, the rebuild of my army started. Together we make a plan to recapture the fortification, but we need some skilled men to support us. Our conclusion is that heading back to the capitol for re-enforcements will take too long. A settlement of elves is only half a day away on one of the northern Mystic Isles. The elven lord acknowledges the need to liberate the trade routes and remembers the positive influence Nar Bilu had on Hemresa. He grants us five fine swordsmen. As we leave the settlement a female elf approaches me and offers her services to us. With great bravery the stout group of my legion heads back to the wall to scout the area. I draw a schematic of the fortification on a pieces of paper and made strategic plans with my right hand man. The encampment we build seem to attract a lot of attention from people hiding in these forests. Before the meeting and planning is over, two half elf hunters in robes and two lost but well armed dwarves joined our legion and pledged their loyalty to our cause. After a good night sleep we would enter a secret entrance at dawn. A glimpse of the sun was visible at the horizon. Horses were fed, swords were polished and quivers were restocked. We are ready to recapture our home. A bright greenish light blinded everyone. When the green fog slowly faded from our eyesight a man with a white beard stood before us. He just stood there. Bowing and begging me to take him into our army, freeing this region of the savage menace. I concur and welcome our, for now, last member of the Hemresa Legion! The story continues

  6. Reporting for duty... essembling army as we speak
  7. After the second challenge I decided to take a small crew on one of my boats and chart the isles south of Hemresa. Most islands on the north were settled and inhabited by Avalonian knights, lords and other members with fancy titles. A small boat was loaded with a week’s supply of rations, some small arms and a chest filled with whatever valuables we would need for negotiation. Dawn was about to break open the dark skies, when I boarded with two of my finest henchmen. Strong in mind, strong in strength and strong at heart. Both henchmen took a peddle and started our journey south. A couple of days went by, only discovering densely forested islands of different sizes. Nothing really habitable for merchants, miners, farmers or other craftsmen. We set camp on a isle where the moon shined between the treetops. Tomorrow we would reach the open sea and head back to Hemresa. The henchmen lit a fire to make a well deserved meal, while I explored the island. Only a hundred steps north of the campsite, I discovered a white brick and gold plated shrine of some sort. I walked around the shrine, nothing really troubling and no signs of a specific deity who was worshipped here. So I entered, kneeled down and started praying. When I finished and wanted to stand up a bright light, like a lightning bolt, lit up the entire island and set everything except the shrine up in flames. For a distance I could hear my henchmen scream, directly followed by a scaring sudden silence, realizing they died. As quick as the fire came, it disappeared again. Strange enough the forest is intact, the shrine is unharmed and thankfully, I am untouched. Smoke appears and from inside the smoke a figurine makes an entrance into the shrine. I fall back on my knees and bow my head. A stunning female voice asks me if I want to be part of something big. I can only nod. She speaks again: “On every pillar in this temple you can read a mission or training. Complete them and be rewarded”. I nodded again before she disappeared. I turned my head, stood up and counted the pillars. A dozen pillars and something that looks like a throne of some sort. There is some writing on the ground as well. I climbed the throne to get a good view of the ground and read: “To become a druid, excel in the challenges”. What seemed like a single day, turned out to be months... but I finished every task. The tasks included fighting strange animals of nearby islands, learning the local flora and fauna, meditation and crafting items with only improvisation of what was available. At the next full moon the figurine appeared before me and opened a portal like door on the south side of the temple. As I walked through, I felt strange, enlightened in spirit, found myself in a strange outfit and fully armed for battle. She spoke: “You will know what to do when you encounter it. Go now and prosper”. Back at Hemresa, only to discover everything I build was destroyed, plundered or habited by strangers. Time to build my dreams... and dreams I have, her dreams? Almost forgot... Nar Bilu reporting for duty... Avalonia rules !
  8. I really love the combi of: The playability in combination with the minifigs is briljant...
  9. Dear Doc, I would like to apply for this position: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=86366entry1686472 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=84819&st=900#entry1686468 I am a reasonable writer, a creative mind and one of the largest (2.02 meters) adult Lego fans. I am a marketeer and art-director in my line of work, which could prove itself in my blogging or involvement in other projects. After moving homes this year I created my own "office" and started building MOC's, but I follow this site and the creative minds of it's members for quite some time now. Enough inspiration for whatever is expected from me. May the force be with you... Regards, Nar'Bilu PS: after the start of Nar Eurbrikka I bought the complete SW saga and watched it in two days, to get familiar with the discussions on this forum. Wookieepedia is one of two of my startscreens when I open chrome, the other is Eurobricks.
  10. Very nice detailing on the scene. I particularly love the way you worked the light on your first picture. The Hyperdrive and your character really take the attention in the MOC. The scene is sufficient in size to tell the story and have little recommendations for improvement. Some suggestions: - maybe a little more color - the studs next to the hyperdrive could be attached or connected to each other - if you would make the MOC larger, I would do that only to create more depth, not widen the model Good luck, but for the looks of it, you are doing fine.
  11. My opinion on the AT-AP: set 75043 Minifigs: It was about time that a new wookiee was introduced and with the upcoming Kashyyk battle pack more can be expected soon. The clone commander is cool and the drones are a must in this battle. I personally hope that a clone gunner is included inside the AT-AP. It is a shame that two minifigs are special characters, not really a plus for army builders. But as said earlier with a Kashyyk battleset coming it will be a great addition. The vehicle itself: Is a perfect reflexion of the actual one. Detailing, size and colorscheme are good. I hope the model can stand sturdy in different positions. The complete set: A nice addition for every LSW collector and clone war fan. Brickcount, 700 seems ok. I hope the price will be under € 60. Can't wait for the January sets.
  12. Is there a simular list for the Alliance?
  13. Excellent choice... Also a new mold of the Kaadu would be great (also for CW army builders)
  14. That would be the best... a customized head with a standard black hood I would love to see some Tatooine sets (Episode IV-V-VI) with new: - Jawa's - Tusken Raiders - Bantha's - Dewbacks The Special Tatooine characters like: - Momaw Nadon - Tech Mo'r - Garindan and for my Falcon crew: - Nien Nunb
  15. But then with just regular soldiers, no character minifigs. Like they do with the SW battlepacks.
  16. Yesterday I took the time to rebuild all my SW minifigs... A nice bunch together I think. Still have to arrange the platoons, but that's for later concern.
  17. Had some time last night and I got 2 out of 3 booklets finished and I must say that some of the techniques are surprisingly fun to build. The trees and the platforms have great detail and a funny character (for instance the three Empire helmets for drums) Compliments on the detailing of the Ewoks, they look great. A must have for every SW fan!
  18. The mailman came by no quality time for the misses tonight
  19. Great review... defenately on my wish list
  20. Ewok village is send by DHL today :)
  21. Ordered mine online... awaiting the mailman with a large box
  22. A real nice theme and building of Cloud City. Just love it... Maybe a little more detail on the vessel. success on finishing up.
  23. I thought it was important to evacuate the princess - but I may misinterpretated the mission... Any comments are appreciated and this is still WIP The Alliance's goal is to help evacuate Cloud City, particularly Princess Leia and the Millenium Falcon. Rebel players should depict in their entry their character helping to fulfull that goal.
  24. Cloud City (check) Great platform (check) Wonderful vessel (check) Enough action (check) Just wow... what a great scene.
