Your wish has come true, twoface will be back soon. The new Batman motion picture will feature scarecrow and bane... so those are the most probable figs to be released later on.

I agree on that... Barbosa's crew was more suitable for the Pearl. Now the probability for a nice "Flying Dutchman" became less obvious. Still I love the black ship and it will fit nicely into my new MOC pirate harbor.

After watching all the POTC movies one more time and playing the Lego POTC game I got to the following wishlist: all minifigs mentioned below (except Teague) are already included in the POTC game. I cleared out my hobby room for a pirates MOC, because of the new POTC sets and I am really looking forward to the Pearl. No complaining on my side: 1) it has 200 pieces more than Brickbeards Bounty, so it should get more details (and I already like this ship) 2) 6 great minifigs, including three new ones, Davy Jones and two of his crew members. 3) A 7th minifig if you include the damsel on the front of the ship, which doesn't look too bad from this side. 4) I don't woory about the sails, holes or no holes, black sails rule! 5) Two or three more cannons for the collection, is fine by me. 6) Nothing to complain about... let it soon be November.

When will this set be available in the Netherlands... Legoshop still says "not available in this country"

This was the best surprise of all the PotC sets... I think it's a fantastic build and because I don't collect the Castle sets, there were some parts that are new to me. So here are my ratings: Minifigs: 9/10 Some duplicates in figs, but still, the mermaids are fantastic and the two "new" figs fit the scenery very well. Parts: 10/10 As written above, some parts were new to me and I was amazed that the magnifying glass really worked with the light brick. Build/Design: 9/10 Really fun to build and the collapsing tower didn't compromise the tower (compliments). Playability: 10/10 A lot of playable scenes, lot of action and a collapsing tower. Bravo. Price: 8/10 The bottleneck for the complete PotC range, relatively expensive sets. Overall:47/50 For all who love the pirates theme, PotC movies, Castle MOCers and/or just a fun playtime.

Yesterday eve I put together the Cannibal Escape set and was pleasantly surprised. The set contains quite a few useful bricks, has nice figs and some nice details. My conclusion is this is a must have. Great for MOCers, great for kids (playability) and just a great set for PotC fans.

Yesterday I got the opportunity to build the London Escape and I was pleasantly surprised. The two carts are very cool, the action on the coal card makes it really playable. The building is ideal for MOCers, makes it fantastic for "pirate"city docks together with Whitecap Bay. Compliments on the Royal Guards and other figs. Cool bricks and I am glad the flag and painting are printed. Overall a very good set.

I agree, this was the build disappointment of yesterday evening, but the figs are cool.

All great MOC's... grats all. Here's my vote: 2. Curse of the Mummy -> 2 points 18. Treasure hunt on Nile -> 1 point 21. Professor Hale -> 1 point 23. Serpent Ruins -> 1 point 32. Final Ruins -> 2 points -
After building the QAR and the Isla, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes I decided to build one more set... a small one. I must say that Lego did a great job on the dimensions of the boxes (very efficient). This is a must have set for MOCers. The three figs can be found in other sets, but the parts in this small box are excellent: 2 bottles with ships, the globe, some more bones etc. A great set...
-
Finally after a long wait my PotC sets arrived and although I had little time (because the QAR took me longer than anticipated). I also build the Isla De Muerta. The figs are the reason to buy this set, Elisabeth is my favorite female fig ever (together with Ginny Weasel). The skeleton Barbossa is superb. The set is of a reasonable size and the build is a done deal, not shorter or longer than you can planned. The only real disappointment are the "golden parts" like the gold brick and the coins... Overall a great addition.

Yesterday all PotC were delivered and I had the time to build the QAR... what a fantastic set! Almost everything I love: The figs, the building experience, the detail... just fantastic. A shame that only 3 cannons were included. But weapons enough, the sails are great. And a light in my room projected the "Jolly Rodger" and displayed it big onto a white wall... was a really cool effect. One small comment, some parts are only connected to one side, I hoped Lego would think of something to connect some parts better. Can't wait for the Black Pearl, Flying Dutchman or the Dauntless

Yesterday I got my PotC sets and this one was the first to be opened... I love Jack Sparrow... in every box I open
