  1. I agree, this little train is to be added to my USA trains Thanks Gioppa, you're always kind!
  2. Simply amazing! Reminds me of fairy tales!
  3. I'm resurrecting this old post because I used a new remote control which had always been in the box and which gave me the same problem: turning the orange wheel both left and right the motor always went backwards. By pressing stop sometimes the train would reactivate (magically ) after a few seconds going backwards. Opening the remote control I found some grease on the metal tracks (which I believe has the function of preventing the material from being scratched by losing the micro copper dust) and the spring connectors perhaps loose. By applying @jtlan's solution I solved 80% but not completely. Has anyone experienced the same problem? And above all he managed to definitively solve the issue?
  4. What a very respectable job @Phil B! I would also like to have my own version (I have an idea for a variant) but these wagons cost 10 times more than their original cost...I will keep my convoy with the 5 standard wagons. Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos of the of the internal details.
  5. Wow, very cool! The layout for the 12 volt train is perfectly integrated!
  6. You create only masterpieces ... plus you reproduce the most complex architectural parts, always raising the level! I really like the porch and the staircase ...accurate details!
  7. Exactly what I meant @Toastie! Great quote by the way...that scene fits like a glove!
  8. Wow, the thing that impresses me most about your works (or perhaps I should say your works of art) is the absolute resemblance to the real models...the final photo gives a perfect idea of how much you achieved your goal at 100%! Another masterpiece Sérgio!
  9. Thanks Sérgio you're always welcome! Maybe that's why the operator is so smiling in the last image... did he get rid of the ballast? Eh eh eh ...we leave the answer to this question to @Toastie ...here we're talking about the cancellation of friction and speed of light ...but also of brute force as @Phil B suggest! Perhaps it's typical of such small things to also be funny, like it's funny when an adult turns back into a child playing with toy trains ...Lego is this too! Thank you all ...LT12V
  10. Thanks @Murdoch17! I hadn't thought about this but you're probably right ...so just short commutes and only one hour of work out! I love this crane too ...is so cute! About the code don't warry about that ...as already said it is incomprehensible to me, so I'm worse than slow: I'm stopped!
  11. Hello everyone, today I want to share this little push along train (can I call it train? ) with you! The idea of assembling this little convoy came to me when I found the handcar and the fantastic manual crane on Rebrickable, I've only changed the wheelbase of the handcar and the coupling system to handle standard LEGO curves. Have fun with the video and images: See you soon! LT12V
  12. Fantastic Thomas convoy! Very well done!
  13. Fantastic tower and beautiful details! The snow-covered portions are a work of art. Is the fur cape a standard Lego element or is it your idea? I find it brilliant.
  14. Thanks Benn you're always kind!
  15. Very original idea ...and beutiful final result!
  16. Another great work from you ...I like the dog, very well done!
  17. Great work of scale reproduction of the original model. You have perfectly captured the shapes of the real locomotive!
  18. From the minute 0:17 to 0:19 ouch ...but then when I understood the final goal, the project is nice!
  19. Fantastic architecture! I like those windows and the roof too!
  20. Wow, I love this kind of MOC! Great building technique!
  21. It's true: with the compactness of circuit cubes it becomes easier to manage battery and receiver in small spaces. Thanks for your compliments!
  22. Chapter 4 of 4 Hello everyone, today I want to present my fourth and last small locomotive powered by the Circuit Cubes system. This is a model from Sweden: the Qaz51119 What I like about this model are the transmission system with the central flywheel and the electrical power supply with the single pantograph. The dark red livery was another determining element that I immediately liked! As usual, the locomotive has front and rear lights; the lights can be controlled independently. Below you can find a short video of the locomotive in action accompanied by some images Chapter 1 of 4 Chapter 2 of 4 Chapter 3 of 4 See you soon with a new bonus chapter, no more locomotives but always Circuit Cubes! LT12V
  23. Thanks Benn! Wow I missed this one!
  24. Wow there's no joke here ...good job sir!
  25. Now everything is clear and makes sense! The style of this project reminds me of the train designed by Dr Emmet Brown in Back to the Future (3rd episode); maybe because there's involved a steam train with futuristic propellant, maybe because you're both brilliant professors... in two words, this is Totally Cool! The sound when the mechanisms start is wonderful, reminiscent of the noise of moving mechanical watches The electronic hardware and programming part can be perceived by looking with critical attention. Nice wok! All the best Emanuele
