    I think that the Zelda style shield in this Sea Serpent GWP set will be what is included in the Royal Nest by TLG set early next year. Also a new torso will be printed now and also included in the Royal Nest.

    Cloth sails and a printed shield - the only remaining question is how many copies of this set do I need! P.S. Is it too much to want a new printed torso included in this set as well?

    I’ve been digging into the history of LEGO colors for a project I’m building, and I put together this visualization of how our favorite colors have grown and evolved: width = distinct piece count 2026 (half of the sets expected) through 1949 all colors except Modulex (click to make bigger) It’s pretty wild to see the data mapped out like this. You can clearly see the big shifts, like the "Bley" takeover in 2003 and the massive color explosion in 2006. I was also surprized to see the width grow a the pace it is - and the growth is both piece count and color count.     Lot's of new shields in the first half of 2026: I also discovered that I was missing a few shields that spaned over the duration of color changes of Light Gray to Light Blueish Grey: ... stay tuned for an updated picture once I fill in these holes.

    The 10350 Tudor Corner looks fabulious! The 3,266 pieces is a huge amount given it covers just one baseplate. I will absolutly be adding this as my 20th modular.

    I picked up another shield for my collection the other day. I am also noticing a few new shield in the 2025 lineup. We are getting a new color shield in the Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet and Mini Orchid sets. Also in 2025 we are getting a Wolf Pac shield in the Minifig Series 27.

    Targets all over now have these in stock. My Target had 5 new cases. I was surprised to discover they run up at 50% off as well!

    I have found my Wal*Marts have had stock this week. Two different stores had all 12 figs in stock. I did get there within the first hour after opening.

    Pictures of hording the Dragonborn on social meda is disgusting. I did manager to get a full set at my Wal*Mart. I scanned all 160-ish boxes. Only one Dragonborn left compared to 10+ of each other one.

    I ordered 7 hours after the set wen live. I did get mimic GWP added to my cart. But the mimic is still In Process abd the rest of the order has shipped.

    I guess this is a day 1 purchase for me. Looking forward to adding the castle to my collection.

    I don't see castle working like space does with LEGO. Space is a hot topic in 2024 in the real world, and LEGO is taking advantage of that. Castle? I don't see it happening in 2025.
