The model was just published on bricklink. Dang, that would have made my job a whole lot easier! -

We did see the forestmen introduced in Forest Hideout (40567) a few weeks before Lion Knights' Castle (10305). I have hope. Foolish hope.

Shield Collection by Year
Follows Closely replied to Follows Closely's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I am finilalizing my shield collection so that I can build my display frame. The frame is brick built and I have minimized the impact of adding new shields as they are released, but if I missed a shield it is a huge pain to go back and shift everything down and to the right. Below you will find my definition of what I have included in my collection. Any element that was initially designed to be held by a minifig as a shield. Accounts for the inclusion of 75902pb19 even though it is used as a vehicle decal in a Technic set. Any element that is held by a minifig as a shield. Accounts for the inclusion of 98834pb02 even though it was introduced as a vehicle spoiler. Brick built shields are not included. Exceptions are made when a single tile is added to a shield element (14769pb523) in the Goat Boat (76208), and the 2x3 tiles held by mincraft minifigs, such as 26603pb275. Offensive weapons that are used to block an attack are not included. This eliminates swords, light sabers and power burst shields. Nexo Knight shield tiles are not included. The four Nexo Knight shields are included, but the 161 Nexo Knight shield tiles that attach are not included (see Nexo Collection). Lego duplo and bionicle shields are not included. My Favor to Ask: could I get a few people to look over my list and verify that I did not miss any shields from 1978-2023? My list can be found here: https://followsclosely.github.io/shields/ * The two red shields in 2023 are from the viking village. -

@Lion King, Go buy Assembly Square now! It is a better build than anything else that is available now. And the price will be $100 more in just a few months. -

I debated as to what to do with the nexo knigh shields. I concluded that they deserve a second collection: -
I stand corrected; 30 years. I still think there is no chance the mold is put back into use. One thing I do know is that I will buy whatever I need to get this GWP.

There is less than 1% chance you will see that 40 30 year old mold. I would not want it anyhow as I have plenty and they are affordable. Give us a new dragon!

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Follows Closely replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
This teaser video reminds me of the when Back to the Future Delorean (10300) LEGO released a short teaser video that featured Marty McFly & Doc Brown, in Minifigure form, going on an adventure to find a missing piece in order to get home, along their way they travel to a Medieval town, that has a massive brick-built Castle at its centre. The new castle (10305) was there, but LEGO merged it with sonething old to make it not so obvious. (source) I suspect that LEGO is doing this same trick once again. -

I am 95% convinced that this is indeed a tease of the 2024 modular. https://www.facebook.com/LEGO/videos/3581885955387612/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v -

^ Yep ^ I find in unexpected to have a large modular release this coming year. I am not saying it is a wrong rumor just unexpected. Unexpected because; What is going to come out in 2027 for the 20th anniversary? Is is going to be even larger than the 2024 modular? If history holds, it will still be available.
