    Okay, so no real surprises there......just fresh views of City Square......that's still a tick on my list to buy. Now the heavy haul train......not as good as 3677 except for the front end loader on the back and I guess the ballast wagon loading crane is a nice touch as long as that comes in that set.

    Hmm, yours 'LegoSjaak' looks very similar indeed........so much for being original Lego.....at least a helicopter and front end loader with rear digger is a new idea. I wonder what loading machinery, etc., comes with the set. Though I will say it's not as good as 3677 in my opinion.

    Well, we don't have to wait long now......tomorrow is the 12th so Lego World starts and that's when we'll see the latest sets in layouts......hopefully better close ups of City Square and fingers crossed for the heavy haul train too.......and maybe just maybe a sneaky surprise we know nothing about at all.

    Lego have the license on screwing up ideas, etc., take the deleting of the original Batman theme.....no, it won't be popular anymore they must have thought back in 2008 lets ax it....never mind about this Dark Knight film...yeah that was a boo-boo Lego. Plus Lego's fetish on police themes.......swamp, forest, city, elite.....man, Lego City must be crime heaven for crim's eh ? Needing so many cops ? There has been a few Lego Ideas/Cuusoo's that should have been done but maybe decided not nerdy enough.......Mini Shops would have been awesome for everyone city collector.....but oh well......what do we know......we are only AFOL's ? Many of the Disney lines have had mixed results.......but anything pirate ship or steam train or to do with Iron Man sells like crazy.....though anything else.....not such a good seller. Should they have produced more/different sets for POTC or LR or TS3.......who knows.....maybe ?

    Ah, lots of Duplo........that's because Target are doing a 20% off Duplo sale plus a handful of city sets.......example bike transporter 20 bucks.

    Or maybe AA sets didn't sell well.......yeah, right.....they always sold out in stores. So yeah, it's because of the movie why no AA this year......perhaps ?

    But AA has been running in parallel with USM......well last year it was, so perhaps only a couple of cartoon based sets because a particular movie coming out ?

    So Sony and Disney are teaming up eh....well of sorts......hmm, I smell Peter Parker being asked in a particular third film to join them by some dude with an eye patch ? I guess with the Electro polybag saving Amazing Spiderman II one could guess something was on the cards ? Now to totally keep on topic, I was surprised that there is only one USM set this year unlike other years......so could that mean the end of the line for USM sub-theme ?

    Toy companies must evolve otherwise they fall by the wayside, so TV and video games is another port of access to fans hearts to keep them interested and wanting more. Lego will never die......unless we let it, which I doubt would ever happen.

    I have some bad news.....thanks to a stack of bills coming in and cash flow poor some additions might not get off the ground for Brick-a-laide. Though an old house at the edge of the main street is still on the cards.......but the fire station might also be an issue if I don't find my old model to modify. Please do keep an eye out for future updates of NM.
