Very true about the scaling of the doors on the bus....hence the reasoning behind Lego using the old train doors as bus doors.

Yes, that gas station was a miss-fire wasn't it eh ? I'm wondering if Lego are expected us AFOL's to take town square and MOC or at least modify their designs to learn from us new ideas ?

Now like I wrote yesterday the bike shop is more of a clothing shop and the 2009 bike shop was more a simple mechanical workshop for bikes.....you could line both up side by side.

Thanks 'Wedge09' and 'L@go' for your kind words, I'm starting plans for the expansion of my town.......a new butchers shop is first with a delivery truck......I shall start next week on that. Keep watching !

I too wonder about the door on the bike shop.....I would consider it more a clothing and accessory outlet with a motorcycle on display upstairs. Let's hope the mini shops make it though the review process on Cuusoo....one of them would really help town square out.

Isn't it Lego all over to rehash an old idea all the time.......from city to castle to Star Wars....rehash is the name of the game sometimes ! Now has anyone noticed on the bus stop sign......city centre, PARK, museum ?

Thanks everyone for your wonderful comments, now some news I will be returning to Railshow in 2015 plus I might be attending the mid-year train show in 2014.....must talk to the N-gauge guys about that. Oh, yeah I have decided that New Mannum is to keep growing by at least another 96 studs over the next year.....a rest first....well sort of, there's a collectable minifig contest still to go for here on EB.....the tiger may never rest. I should also report back that only 7 sets have missing parts - out of over 20-odd plus New Mannum it's self just a little transit damage.....a bit of T.L.C. and it will be back in display shape. Seeing happy children really made my weekend, though a downside even though for only 5 minutes was when my red 500 class engine slammed to the floor.....but within ten minutes it was running again...whew ! Brick On everyone.....and oh, yeah keep watching (I'm not finished yet ).

Well, hello again.....twice in one day but this time not in person. Very nicely done with a touch of classic town too.......but the driver looks to awake or happy to be a real bus driver in Adelaide eh ? Ah, yes Town Square for me....though a giant crane in it.......a smaller one with a delivery truck to carry the statue on would have been a little more realistic. I'm wondering what Lego's idea is behind bike shops and pizza bars all the time ? Plus I can't wait for those racing transporters....both of them......new tool wheels ! (about time !.....the one we have now came out in the mid-1990's)

G'day everyone....for the last two days madness has the order of the day......children of all ages has enjoyed the show and my display.....as I write this my Lego City vehicles display is being trashed but that's the fun of it.....kids being kids.....I love see them happy. Now finally New Mannum in all it's glory....... Wow, I should have written picture heavy......anyway best get back to the show now as I still have 4 hours left and there are still plenty of children looking and playing......Brick On !

Ditto, just supported it a few minutes ago on Cuusoo. An AWESOME idea that would be very popular if it makes it.....but let the mini shops through first. Excellent custom designing there 'Bobskink' and Bat-Brick On !
