    Now that's a sweet looking design......and I love open back sets the most , I wish Lego would stop tempting the tiger !

    I haven't had any cracked cheese slopes....yet, but I have had cracked plates, bricks, etc., though only a handful out of thousands of parts in my stockpile. Could the problem by where the parts are produced or where the plastic pellets are being sourced ?

    I use MOCpages and Brickshelf (the latter mostly), I haven't found really any issues with trolls on there as of yet. The rating system.....meh, I'm not into designing stuff to score points so the care factor is low. My only issue with MOCpages is the image uploader......in a way too slow and okay I guess the edit feature is not so easy to use.

    One word....cute. You should get her the cat one......my wife loves her set I put together for her....the little black and white cat is similar to her's back when she was a young teenage girl.

    So you us to design your town ? I don't mind coming up with ideas for people to use. In the pipeline for me was a Lego City post office and some shops to suit the upcoming town square set.

    So they went overnight to right hand side of the road driving......right, and that didn't cause problems now did it ? Funny how the road toll fell in the short term. Interesting piece of history, thanks for sharing it.

    One piece of advice I can give on the green grocer or cafe corner sets.....have you considered downloading the instructions and Bricklinking the parts.....even if you have to change some of the colours to ones that are affordable. Now on prices, if you can get it cheaper go for.....but I would say ebay would be your last resort and I feel some real modular experts with through their two cents in as well.

    Nice layout, my only advice would be more greenery (trees or shrubs), more straight road plates than cross intersections (I know same problem I had in the past too ) and a gas station. Brick On 'SwissBrick' !

    I didn't mean it that way.....we are use to the normal open back city/town sets....one rear opening not two openings.

    AWESOME creation 'Bayou' and congrats on being front paged too ! Perfect posing of Yoda in that first meeting scene between him and Luke. The X-wing in the swamp is the high point of the whole MOC......Brick On 'Bayou' !

    Oh, okay..... Now back on topic.....has anyone noticed that the bike shop has no walls at all just the window frontage and central ceiling support pillar ?
