    It took me about an hour last night to build the whole set, I sort of enjoyed the build......the rear door section kept coming off while assembling which was starting to tick me off. I feel Lego should have worked a little harder on the logging crew and perhaps added a piece of logging machinery.....I know that would increase the price but it would improve the playability of the set......machinery similar to those seen the show 'Axe Men' on A&E. At least it was nice getting new minifig heads in this set......well for the loggers at least.

    My new Lego City layout will use half regular city minifigs and half city-style collectables.......in the end the balance might lean more towards the collectables though as long as they keep the mix of city subtheme characters going in it.

    I promised some more today and there will be even more during next week....... Above from left to right......at the bottom.....a simple valve tap and a ballcock valve with float. Along the the top....water pump, shearing machine motor, mesh fencing roll and post driver machine. Keep watching !

    AWESOME piece of work '-DoNe-', though military MOC's go in the special themes forum. But I like all the detail in this and that tank........might it be a King Tiger ? Brick On Fight On '-DoNe-' !

    Thanks 'monsinjor' and 'timmy' for your kind words......now which motor is 'monsinjor' all about eh ? Is it the little blue and black motor sitting on the counter by the entrance, the black water pump or is it the red and grey post driver ? More later today so keep watching !

    Thanks 'Hey Joe' and 'JopieK' for your kind words, there is a roof being planned for this plus maybe a storage area for farm chemicals.....I have a sprayer tank set ready to go on display.....like I wrote above.....more to come.....so yes, keep watching !

    Yesterday I was bored and decided to make some new farming stuff......then I thought why not a new store......yes, another one ! Now what can you spy.........batteries, shearing machine motor, petrol powered post driver or how about a pump ? Tomorrow I'll try to have close ups of the special props.......there of course is more to come so keep watching !

    Thanks for another review 'Fangy', each series now is on the up and up though it's a pity that the welder's helmet doesn't swing up like a real one.....oh, well I'll still get a half dozen of them....handy parts collection. Granny with her puddy tat......now that would have to be the cutest of this series. Now we wait till the end of the year....to find out about series 12 !

    You know what's funny....all this banter about female workers this and that.....has anyone noticed the increase in female minifig workers in Lego City sets this year ? There's a few......fire fighters, transport workers and coast guard rescuers........now I wonder if Friend's will drift in the same way as time goes on the girl's will grow up in women and chose their careers ? Everyone must remember that we all come from different countries with different beliefs and ideologies......Lego tries to go with the flow of what is the most common in the western world being it's biggest costumer base.....like the USA which has a higher number of female workers doing things like fire fighting, truck driving, etc.,. So maybe the girls in Friend's will too become either a fire fighter or plumber or police officer, etc.,.
