I've been doing some thinking this morning, these "microfighters" might be Disney's idea since there is no more CW.....could it also be possible that any proposed CW sets being canned as a result of the series being canned ? It's not uncommon for Lego to plan a set's release and then withdraw it.....never seeing the light of day. Their idea is to keep SW toy sales up high readying kids for the release of both 'Rebels' on TV and of course episode 7 in 2015. By having lots of smaller sets kids will collect them because they are cheap....parents and grandparents won't mind a bit. It could also be disney's idea to change some of the weapons in different packs to see how they go. Personally I like the new blue missiles, but worry about the blasters.......I prefer the one's that we have been use to for the last five years. Edit - Isn't odd that even right now you can see those images on that French website ? Normally be now Lego's legal eagles would have asked them nicely to remove them......I like wrote above.....could it be that Disney is allowing us to see these so we generate internet chatter about SW.......free PR ?

They could all be exclusives, maybe not in every country though. Funny, no really big sets so to speak apart from the walker......every thing is small to medium sized.....perhaps Lego realise parents might not as much ready cash to spend on their kid's Lego habbit ?

I think the X-wing pilots visor is printed on the head itself. Now in the Imperial Death Star BP.....the helmet on each gunner doesn't look right.....they look like helmets from Kingdom's ?

The other sets have the standard weapons......though we have new blue missiles.....interesting, I wonder why the change.....might be the Disney Effect ?

WTF ?! New blasters in only the BP's.......they appear oversized but they seem to of all things shoot trans-light blue 1x1 round plates ? The Kashyyyk troopers are in jungle green......so cool !

Okay, so now even Star Wars has 'Great Vehicles' ! Those mini sets are cute and is the kind of thing kids will love.....simple plus they get a pilot/driver to go in them.....my guess the MF will be the best seller and I wonder why that is ?

In that Nat Geo doco a year or so ago, it was stated that the police station was there best selling set type.....and judging by the popularity of Super Heroes the idea of good guys vs bad guys is even more upfront.....police sells. Speaking to a few mums and dads shopping for their kids over the last year or so......their kids like cops chasing robbers, hence Lego is just playing to that order. Though we might hit police overload.....like 4 years straight of police releases.....oh, well I'll buy them because it's City (as long as they are new designs ). Only time will tell when images finally appear to judge even from a distance if Lego has misses or hits on their hands.

Lego has already made a similar hat...... That hat would be close enough for the Joker Lego would say right ?

Ah, well that's okay......we haven't had one of those in seven years, which makes me think.....the ages on the boxes usual give a age distance of six years. So thinking that way could it be that Lego do so many rehashes of say police and fire so catches a new group of 6-12 year olds ?

I remember a wise man who once said......"From a certain point of view" ! City is not dying, because of us.....the MOC builders who take what Lego gives us and we raise it up higher....so it will never die unless we let it. I do see a pattern though......first half.....great vehicles and fire or police.....second half......special sub-themes....i.e. harbour, mining, city services (medical centre & garage) in 2012 and coast guard plus cargo services/transport in 2013. So we should expect different kind of city sets for the second half of the year.
