    Okay, time for the tiger to kick himself......just received an email from TRU.......20% full price toys again with coupon - 2nd to 4th of August ! Oh, the pain......well, at least I might grab the coast guard copter and monster truck transporter during the promo.

    I was tempted again but only by a small set tonight.

    Kmart Ingle Farm finally put out the monster truck transporter and surfer rescue sets tonight.....no sign of the cargo jet, heliplane or stunt plane. Though I must add 39 bucks for the seperatist tank with Jango Fett is a bit much for such a small box when comparing to the 35 buck city sets.

    Another lucky pop in today at Kmart Ingle Farm (SA)......city coast guard boat 89 bucks, coast guard copter and cargo truck for 35 bucks. Some new SW as well.

    Thanks for the review 'JB' of this very interesting product, I'll pass as well.....though it seems to be an adult version of one of those basic creator sets for 4 to 6 year olds......and I mean adult/grown-ups version.

    Gepps Cross TRU had the larger of both cargo and coast guard sub-theme sets......but I'll wait until someone else has them on sale.

    Timing is everything isn't it eh ? Visiting the 7th store today I saw nothing new, turned the corner in the store and bam.......half the new city sets on a trolley at TRU Gepps Cross.....the girl was kind to open a box for me and scored for 19.99 60012 coast guard set.

    Which one.....there are so many ? I have two more MOC's to go in my Lego City layout, one more in my latest Art Deco series......plus even more on the drawing board......so again I'll say keep watching !

    Not bad at all 'Hoexbroe', though their helmets should be either black or gold metallic look to them.....since in that era helmets were either leather or brass. Still it's a cool looking horse drawn steam pumper.....I like it ......Brick On 'Hoexbroe' !

    A fair question, though quite off topic. For my answer, well.....I'm 45 next week and restarted my Lego collecting 5 years.....now days just collecting city and of course, Super Heroes. Now for something on topic, what direction is the DC and Marvel sub-themes going to take next year ? Are they going to stick with comic book, or film or TV series to base sets on ? Which have been the most successful so far in two years.....film based, TV series based or good old comic book based sets ?

    Ha, I knew it......the eastern states and er, the west too.......piggy in the middle Adelaide is again ! Well, I might just have to go for a drive tomorrow to a few of my regular outlets and have a peep.......Myer TTP today only had 2 Horrizon Express sets available.....oh, dear 20% off ended today.

    Thanks 'LT12V' and 'monsinjor' for your kind words, and those collectable minifigs really do come in handy eh ? Plus my roller door has become one of my favourite special designs now......so it will be making more appearances in the future ! More tomorrow.......so keep watching !
