    It also depends on the era you are working in......4 wides work perfectly for classic town and 6 six cars/small-medium size trucks/vans is perfect for modern city layouts. Eight wide is better for very heavy vehicles......cranes, road trains, construction machinery.

    The Hobbit sets might come out when the Minecraft ones do in December......the X men set might get held over until first half 2015 releases ?

    Now if you miss out on a modular set.....you can always download the instructions and order the parts via Bricklink ? I know it might cost more that way, but once discontinued the price of MISB modulars go through the roof correct ?

    Hmm, there was the D2C for DC a year or so back, so I guess the Helicarrier would also be a D2C.....being a UCS, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

    I found it this morning on Brickset, pity no instructions for it up yet on the Lego Customer Service page. Just goes to prove Lego can design cool shop designs......now only if the city designers take note.

    Most of us here have had to MOC everything from shops to toilets, maybe as look as we keep doing our MOCing then Lego might wake up.........now looking at this earlier today we might have some hope.....

    No comment on no door..... ......now in city only cells and construction sites have toliets....so yeah, perhaps a public toilet block should be included in the range one day.

    Lego I doubt will ever release a church, unless they release a temple or alike for every main faith in the world and Lego don't like upsetting people......note in question Jabba's Palace and non-renewal of the Shell deal. It appears that Lego base most of their ideas on old school kid playing themes......such as cops & robbers......older than Lego itself.

    I don't think modulars show up in the catalogues ever, because they usually end up of retailer exclusives......mmm, I'll check with one to see what is on their buying list.

    Maybe wait until next year for Speed Champions to come out so you could copy the front ends of the sports cars in the series. It's very hard to create real life minifig scale cars without making them look too blocky.
