I agree, as much as I would like to have a Gambit figure, he will more than likely get bumped out by characters like Cyclops, Jean Grey (I would love a Jean Grey figure, and no, don't bring up that annoying SDCC argument, that was her Green Phoenix suit, not Dark Phoenix, and not regular X-Men Jean Grey, we still have a chance! Anyways...) Beast, Storm, and Iceman also come to mind. As far as villains go, I'd say Mystique is very likely, and Sabretooth as well. Don't expect to see Mr. Sinister until San Diego Comic Con in about 5 years, after they're done making highly-desirable characters like She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, etc. I don't think we'll ever see him in a set.

What The Simpsons character do you want as a minifigure?
Freddy Bricker replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yay, this thread is up! I don't watch the Simpsons, so I have nothing to contribute. Though I still keep up with the 2014 rumor thread because I share some interest for the show. Let the comments begin!- 82 replies

Interesting, makes me wonder if we should put up a "what Simpsons characters would you most like to see made in Lego" thread.

The tweet quoted in that article also says "most likely other sets". So I'm assuming the house set and CMF are test runs to see if the theme does well, and they have designs for sets ready to be released just in case if it does do good? Lego was probably the one who asked for a CMF line to accompany this theme, they probably figured they could make a lot of cash off of this theme and asked Fox to allow them a quick run and show them the success they could have during that time, which would probably be they put forth a CMF series, which seems to be a huge money maker for them. So I am definitely expecting more sets, but should I expect them in 2014? The world may never know.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion

I can already feel the stickers in that set -
autorazr: I understand what you were going for with Toyman, but perhaps there is a better face for a man with a creepily smiling face?

I noticed that very same ad too, thought it was my computer though, which seems to be spazzing out lately.

LEGO Ultra Agents 2014

I got 7930 Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship sometime in the middle of December, how did I forget to update this thread? I love it. I've wanted it (and the T-6 Jedi shuttle since mid-2012, and I managed to find it, a set that retired in 2012, in mid-December 2013! It was almost 2014 and I managed to find one of my most highly anticipated sets, that was retired for well over a year, at Barnes and Noble! I love that store, they also carried all the retired Atlantis sets up until summer 2013! They also still have a couple Pharaoh'S Quest sets, for anyone in South Florida who might want those.

What was the last movie you watched?
Freddy Bricker replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I watched the Batman, Batman returns, and Batman Begins today. As well as some snips of Star Wars episodes 1-4. Since I've seen all of these movies already I decided I liked 80's/90's Batman over the Prequel trilogy. Of course episode 4 doesn't fall under that category, and Batman begins is from 2005, but I've seen the original trilogy like 5 times in 2013, (maybe 10 my whole life), and only saw Batman begins about 3 times, and forgot almost everything about it. Hope the star wars fans don't mind. -

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Freddy Bricker replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
So does that mean we won't be getting Green Lantern? I hope we don't, since I didn't like the SDCC version, and it was based off of a movie, a terrible terrible movie. SO hopefully we can get a comic based Lantern in 2015, which is extremely unlikely since this is the last year Lego can focus on comic based sets for the justice league before having to make movie versions (which will, for obvious reasons, stop them from releasing comic based versions of the characters) and I bet the only non-movie sets in 2015 will be Batman sets, all repeats, with at most 2 new characters (probably killer croc since he already appeared in the Batman line, and Lego hates putting new minifigures in DC sets). Ugh I hate Lego DC, hope I wasn't too off topic. But I do have one on-topic question: What are the official prices for the sets?- 2,626 replies

I'd take sets from a Guardians T.V show over Avengers Assemble any day, and that''s probably part of me finding the Avengers (in most media) annoying.

Guess reading more and more of the new 52 makes you crazy for a Kyle Rayner and Commissioner Gordon. The court of owls has been emphasized for the first few months of the Batman titles and very briefly in Batgirl, so I would definitely buy a set with them. I'd also love to see the following figures in polybags: Alternate Flash Kyle Rayner (it's unlikely we'll get him in a set) Knightfall (She will never get made, though) And finally, Hush. I think Hush is a semi-interesting villain (not that exciting though, he sort of re-uses the whole "twisted background with family death aspect of villains, so I tend to brush him off as a "major foe". Then again I haven't seen very much of him in comics at all) so I wouldn't want him in a set. Maybe 1-3rd of a wave can consist of Batman, and I want those few Batman sets to contain Joker (they need him for sales) and at least 3 other common villains. So Hush would be nice, but in a polybag. Doomsday, Jonathan Kent, and comic based Lois Lane. Also, Mongul!

I would imagine (based on the Lego Marvel game, and by images of the Guardians standing together) that Rocket Raccoon would use the fox mold from Chima.

What was the last movie you watched?
Freddy Bricker replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Saw this about a week ago and forgot to post it: Saving Mr. Banks. The trailers made it seem like it was about Disney trying to have fun in his life. But the movie was about P.L Travers, I loved it so much. Blame me for not knowing Mary Poppins was once a book series? I'm also usually not slow in movies at all, but it took me a while to understand that Also, loved the way Disney was portrayed. It's not a sick horror movie, a repetitive action movie, or a fun family comedy, really, almost everyone in that movie theater was over 80. That's not a bad thing though, it was one of those rare movies with a meaning that shows you the life of someone you would usually judge at first sight. And I love that movie for it. I could stay writing all day about how much I loved Saving Mr. Banks, and Marry Poppins, but I would never get the point across. Such a great movie 10 out of 10! Also, the funniest part (which wasn't supposed to be funny, I almost got in trouble for laughing for the whole movie because of this) "SHE'S LAYING AN EGG"! -
Question is, how would they fit all those characters in sets? It would take about 4 sets to have the main cast and about 2 repeating villains alone, and that's only if Yondu stays out of the cast (but he more than likely will be part of the guardians, it was said he'll have a "large" role). So should we expect 3-4 sets?

^ Then should it be safe to assume Lego does have the rights? I don't think they could use the logo or the name if they didn't, and I'm also very sure they'd be in a very public lawsuit-hassle had they used the logo/name (they just used the name) without permission.

I did read on Imdb that Nebula will be in the movie, though the only way we could get her would be if we got the full cast. And what if her appearance is brief and she doesn't really "join" until the next movie. Or has it been confirmed that she will be a Guardian of the Galaxy? Also, if DC does get a fall wave (pray for Cyborg and non SDCC Green Lantern) then when would we hear about that?

Yeah, I've loved the 2 temples released for Ninjago in the past, and would love to see Lego do what they did to the fire and light temples, to Borg tower. And, I can't go back to it now, but wasn't the price listed as $120? I don't see why they'd make such a large set for just a robot, unless of course I got the price wrong. I agree, it's more of a splash!

You read Batgirl! I've probably read less than 80 X-Men comics in my life, so I won't be complaining about them. My only hope is that we get more females in Guardians of the Galaxy. Gamora anyone?

How did I not comment on these yet? Well there's nothing bad I can say about these. I'll be perfectly honest and say that Lego pulled it right this time. But it just frustrates me even more to know that DC will barely have half the sets Marvels getting. And it's all Batman and reboots, so nothing new but figures and bad designs! Ugh holy megabloks where's the fun in that?
