  1. Atramor nods to the party's division. Both seemed well balanced to him.
  2. "Aye. Always seems like they're the ones trying to manipulate the paths of others," agreed Atramor with a nod, as they party filed back towards the town watch building. The group halted, however; forcing his way to the front, he grinned when he came upon two familiar faces. "Great to have 'ya with us, Phil, Mallelio. Tarn's off fightin' ninjas or somethin', but if 'ya want I could bring him that note next time I see him." The group then headed inside, where once again the Gray Wizard anf Felton filed them in. Four spires, two of which were to be guarded. Two more, which were to be defended... "Good luck, mate," he remarked quietly to Triad, just before McCafferey swooped in quite suddenly and landed on his shoulder, looking as disgruntled as a chicken could. He almost hoped she'd been listening in to his conversation with the ranger. He then turned back to the party at large, particularly at Cronk. "If you're takin' suggestions, mate, I think each party should have at least two healers which are you, me, Poletad, and Haldor. I reckon Gnash shouldn't go with you, seein' as how he'd be needed to have the guards comply. Both bein' heavy damage dealers, Skrall and Nyx should probably split up, as should Hoke and Thothy as they both have wide spreadin' shields. Oh and..." He rummaged around in his cloak a bit before removing the ever dark Amethyst, tossing it over to Mallelio. "In the off-chance ya' do have to fight, it could come in handy."
  3. Cool stuff. I need some of that Adamantite.
  4. Digging the forced roleplaying, Zeph. Probably for the best Docken didn't come along.
  5. Atramor glanced sideways at Triad, frowning at her words. Surprisingly, it actually took him quite a while to respond, his eyes narrowing and flickering between the sky and the ground. He failed to notice McCafferey had not returned to his shoulder after the battle, and was in fact trailing the group by foot on her own. The question was one he'd considered in his head, increasingly often as of late, but when faced with it...he still didn't know how to answer. "....My pet ain't my guide through life, no matter what crap she spews about fate and destiny. I'm not blind, she's tryin' to push me to...whatever the hell she's tryin' to push me to, but I'm not makin' my choices based on her advice. I don't know where she gets this stuff about forcing me towards some sort of goal, but she'll be damn well disappointed when I never end up there." He glared back over his shoulder, and mumbled. "Used to be my only friend in the world. Now she's just tryin' to control me." Atramor turned his head back to Triad as the party continued its walk towards the town watch building. "...If it comes down to it, don't worry. I'll make sure she won't screw us over in the end, one way or another. It's like you said. She's chosen her path; if it ends as sharply as Wren's, so be it."
  6. Atramor stows his weapons, satisfied, and takes the time to heal Gnash, Dyric, Skrall, Thothwick, Bennetton, Arthur, and Alexis at the cost of 7 ether. "Hell if I know how to shut this thing...I say we head back to the old man. I get the feelin' he knows more about this Chaos business than he lets on, personally."
  7. Gah, they brought back those ridiculous clunky wheels and the single piece catapults. But if these are indeed the Bull Knights they're fighting....I may have to consider getting at least one. I can hardly make out anything about the figures, though. The builds remind me of old sets built with the 2006 Fantasy Era style, which I guess isn't so bad.
  8. Tough to see, but interesting to finally have something to discuss! Wizard Battle I'm probably getting, if only on account of Saruman. At least this Gandalf comes with hair. Council of Elrond; definitely. I see Arwen on the left, someone I'm assuming is Elrond, and two shorter figures that I desperately hope are a Rivendell Frodo and Old Bilbo... Nice parts, too. Black Gate is intriguing. I see Aragorn with a cape (hopefully it's a prelim and he'll end up in Gondor gear) Gandalf the White, Mouth of Sauron ( ) and a pair of orcs. Set itself looks...interesting, I guess. Pirate Ship Ambush is an automatic yes. Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, King of the Dead and two unique dead soldiers looks cool. I see at least one Corsair, but the last two figs just look like orcs. Oh well. Hopefully this'll be my first LEGO ship.
  9. Oh, yeah. I was thinking of Undead, I thought they were almost identical to elemental summons. Sorry for all the corrections, been way too long since I was in a battle, I'm excited as all hell for more.
  10. Ether is only expended when an elemental Summon attacks. Also, I don't think Alexis can/is wielding the Ring of Sight. Atramor cackles, the Master Chaos Beast standing motionless, Hexed, before finally succumbing to the witch's venom, crumpling in a black, metallic heap. He then turned towards Chaos Beast A, swinging his Heavy Flail sideways at it from the front row. "Will do, Arthur." Actually....I'm not sure on that first one. I think either the summon gets to attack (twice, due to Monkey Bar) or the ether isn't expended.
  11. I don't know about giving...
  12. I've been wondering the exact same thing, WBD. Enemies with specified elemental attacks are very rare. Of course, if it was done this way, it wouldn't be too difficult to become immortal.
  13. Atramor gives another overhead swing with his Heavy Flail to the Chaos Beast Master from the front row.
  14. That does make it a lot more balanced, and does make sense.
  15. Point is, you have a 1/36 chance of rolling it, Skrall has a 1/6.
  16. Atramor's eyes narrow, but a grin stretches across his face as every one of the warped beings falls victim to his deadly poisoning. He acknowledges Skrall's recommendations switching the whip to his right hand, sweeping the Heavy Flail from his cloak in his other, and whirling both weapons at the Master Chaos Beast from the front row, venom splattering all over the park.
  17. Interesting development, Billie. Until/if this name shows up today, I'm content to Vote: Penny (VolcanicPanic). It's a shame today's lynch can't be as straightforward as the past three days, and seems more like we're trimming fat rather than snapping up near-confirmed scum, but I still feel we're making good progress. Less unconfirmed people, more confirmed people...the range of possible scum is narrowing.
  18. Enemies can be Immune to Stunned, though. ....Not that there's a lack of those. We don't need any more enemies Immune to Stunned.
  19. Bah, you weren't complaining when it stunned enemies throughout both rounds in Quest 28. I'm not trying to best you with the rules, I'm just saying I think this is the way it's supposed to be work.
  20. In Quest 50, Tarn's Lion's Heart seems to be preventing rolls of Defended Damage and Special Damage. I think it's the rest of the current round, then the following.
  21. The Chaos Beasts all got Stunned, I don't think any of the Special Damages or Damages after Arthur rolls Shield take place.
  22. Oola! Jabba! Much thanks to CopMike for running this raffle, this has just made my week. If anyone wants to trade for pretty much any figure but Oola/Jabba, shoot a PM.
  23. Atramor pauses mid-attack, the slit in the first Chaos Beast's helmet emnating a sickly orange glow. His own eyes glimmering the same color, he glances back at the party. "Hmm....I say we do the same basic thing, but ignore the Master, and pile on Beast A if you're injured. Bennetton can null the Master's free hit, and my Hex will keep the first one from harmin' us. Just be sure to put him first in the order, Skrall." With that, he again flicks the Cat 'o' Nine Tails at Chaos Beat A from the front row.
  24. "Ya' hardly need Special Guard when you've got so many Nostrums, mate."
  25. My thoughts exactly. Congrats to everyone who's won so far, and good luck to everyone else tomorrow.
