Atramor gave a hollow smirk at the Gray Wizard's words. "Ah, you're gonna like Thothy...do ya' have a real name?" He then turned to Hans, nodding, and muttering in response. "Got it, mate. Those Blood Paws are a bit of a pushover, in my experience...it's those damn, dirty apes ya' gotta watch out for..." He shook his head. "So, we're gettin' the Town Guard involved in this? Fantastic," he remarked, rubbing his forehead. Getting shipped off mid-Quest wasn't enough to get them off the heroes' backs, was it? "They make a nice distraction for the enemy, if nothing else. Speakin' of which, do we have any information as to who Wren's gathered? Chaos Beasts, obviously, but what else? More mercenaries? A new cult?"
-
Atramor nodded, cackling quietly at Skrall's comment. "Don't think I could agree more than that."
-
Conditions have never been better for an apocalypse.
-
He glanced at the other two figures. One was an Aperpusculum, which he was surprised he could even remember. The other, of course, was Hans, with Poletad. "Hey, mates. Where's the rest of the 'army'? And who're these two?" "You too, Cronk." Mine are good too. "Oh, and can I borrow either that whip or that staff? Havin' all our opponents inhaling venom will speed things along considerably," he directed towards Alexis and Nyx.
-
Atramor crossed his arms, breath frosting, wondering why the hell he hadn't had the foresight to bring a bottle of rum. McCafferey looked positively unaffected by the temperature - she seemed even warmer, if anything. His new, unnaturally white cloak surrounding him, he turned towards the bearded fellow, twitching one eyebrow. "Aye. Is this all of you?"
-
I figure Atramor's the type of person to call people out on their morals getting in the way of the best solution for everyone, when it comes to something as big as this. It's also a decent roleplaying hook, so...go crazy.

Atramor ambles over to the Everyguy fellow, narrowing his eyes at the notice underneath the sign-ups for Quest 53, though his mind was elsewhere. He gave a distracted nod to half the heroes who'd signed up. It surprised him how many people he'd come to know over the course of the past year or so. How many allies and enemies he'd made, both here in Eubric and in distant countries. Thoughts from his somewhat recent trip to the library bubbled up in his mind, while McCafferey sniffed over at his table. "Hard to believe how close her end is," he mumbled to everyone in the general vicinity. "Funny that one way or another this mess is gettin' sorted out within a week..." he paused, took a thoughtful sip of rum, and raised his voice a bit more. "Mates...I think we gotta have a bit of a talk. I ain't one for plannin' things in advance, but....just to be entirely clear, since I know how much this zealot loves to screw with people's heads, and I know how.....humane a lotta ya' like to be....." "....We are going to kill her, right? No reasonin', no talkin' it out...no mercy, aye?" He raised his eyebrows, at both his future party and himself. Rarely did he do this sort of thing, but hell if she was allowed to escape again...he didn't know most of these peoples' history with Wren, but he knew some of these heroes well enough to think they might try to find another way to end it - a way he didn't believe existed.

A very different Quest than usual, Etzel. There've been mystery Quests before, but nothing that revolved so tightly around it. The reward was fitting, considering there weren't many battles. I was a very different concept, and you pulled it off very well. I'd love to see these sidequests posted, by the way.

Very cool. Instantly reminiscent of the 50s. Chrome, black and white, and bright red. You really can't go wrong. I love the jukebox and all the little details. (The 'Famous 2x2 Burger' sign is a nice touch.)

I'm mostly judging by the hair, yeah. Yeah, I'm talking about the plants. It's a really nice set, I just now noticed the Union flag, I just kind of wish there was a little landscape. It could, it's the same setting, I'm just saying it's about the only setting that the hairpiece would work.

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality

That's really a shame about Modular Western Town, but I can see the reasoning behind its rejection. I'm glad to see I'll be able to have a LEGO DeLorean sitting on my desk at some point, though. -
Thanks, Sandy! Really excited to get to be a part of the Quest.

I count three completely different female figs, which is a massive plus. Not to mention there's only one repeat fig other than the Lone Ranger and Tonto (the black hat and dark brown hair bandit, who shows up in the mine and the train.) The Cavalry Army Builder looks great. I never thought for a second they wouldn't include the Lone Ranger, so I can't be disappointed by that. I'm actually quite happy that there aren't any lieutenant or higher ranking figures, and there's just three normal soldiers. The set itself? I can't imagine them doing much better. Would've liked some greenery (or at least dark tannery like in PoP's Desert Ambush ) Hopefully there's a harness on that cannon that can be attached to the horse. Comanche Camp is nice as a parts pack, not as much else. For (what's probably) thirty bucks, I'd've liked to see the girl in the Bandit Hideout here too, at least a horse. Carriage is interesting. The female's hairpiece looks useless in any setting but Western, and even then it looks rather silly. But three horses and a dark red stagecoach? Yes please. (If that's normal red, though.... ) Colby City Showdown - yes yes yes. It's like twice the size of Weathertop (I know they're just building facades, but still...) and has useful parts aplenty. Again, a horse or two would've been nice, but nice buildings nonetheless. Bandit Mine: . That is all. Again, I'm no train collector, but I can appreciate how awesome this one is. Great parts and a ton of figs. On another note, I count three to four different factions doing battle on this train. You can't say they're not at least a little original.
-
Yeah, this year's Prince of Persia. Not that that's a bad thing. :grin_wub: These sets look fantastic. The only real pass for me is the train, and only because I'm not into trains. There's just so many parts and molds and figures to take in.

Thanks, Ace and staff. Just goes to show EB is unstoppable.
-
My thoughts exactly. Reminded me of Scooby Doo for some reason.
-
Sounds really interesting. How would it work? Would you simply send/post the enemy's stats once the party arrives at a location and then let the co-host run the battle itself, so that they wouldn't have any advantage if their character was to go to the Fields later? Or would it make them ineligible for going at all?
-
He's also drinking. Reasonable enough excuse, if you ask Atramor...
-
Same here.
-
Just goes to show, the middle of battle is a bad time to be diplomatic.
-
Perhaps I'm missing something, but why was Boomingham healing himself in the front row?

Just check the price. Damn. You could try these guys: http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=112177. They look a bit spookier than the classic ghost. -
You could remove its Lifestealing ability. My QMs constantly forget Ratsbane even has it. Which is okay, because so do I... I liked the puzzle as well. Like you and CK said, it's very reminiscent of the LEGO games.

Heartlake Heartbreak - Day Four: Motorcycle Drive By
CMP replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Um, there are only four cultists today, if what you say is true. So we should be okay at least for a little while... Rest assured, we'll get the hedgehog if you happen to come up townie. What if we ask nicely?
