The Embassy looks really cool, Scorpiox.

Dear Father Grogmas, Hell if I've been good, but I can think of more than a few people who deserve more stuff. To Alexis - Fifty Shades of Bley. The only person in the position to keep her from from becoming an official whore is Arthur, but he's probably too busy with his own deranged inner demons. To Althior - A bottle of Mulled Wine. Women troubles are nothing to poke fun at it, but get the hell over it. To Arthur - A Garnet. Mages are for gems, not for scrolls, mate. To Docken - One Grating Stone. There's more to life than shields. Like, weapons. To Cronk - A bowl of Dragonfire Stew (Gives the consumer the Encouraged, Inspired, Enraged, and Fragile effects for the duration of one battle). He needs to be able to bash better, and apparently he won't drink mead or wine. On a second thought, maybe you send him a carton of rum disguised as buttermilk? To De'kra - One Opal. I heard you're sorcerering now. Don't let the ether go to your head, you're crazy enough as it is. To Ellaria - One Woodsman's Trinket (Suitable for anyone, gives the wearer the Track Down job trait and makes all attacks wood-elemental, accessory). I heard you're looking for a kid and, as a druid, obsessed with trees. To Eric - A bottle of Mulled Wine. Dunno where the hell you got off to, but I hope wherever it is, the booze is as good as it is here. To Hoke - One Grating Stone. So your sword can become more able. Get it? To Hybros - One Amethyst. We must speak. To Boomingham - Ten Meads, ten Mulled Wines, ten Rums. If that doesn't loosen you up, I dunno what will. To Nyx - One Trendy Handbag. There are some High Heels in it for you too, if you get rid of that damn Healing Staff... To Rufindel - One Dragon Scale. When you get inevitably injured despite being Lucky, it comes with a Blessed effect too. To Skrall - Some Minimizing Dust. Just in case you ever get caught in a doorway or something on the way to Wren's lair. To Tarn - Berserker's Incense (Suitable for berserkers, the wearer can change targets at will, accessory). I know how crazy you guys can get. To Thothwick - Cursed Witch's Talisman (Suitable for Thothwick, the wearer's normal Hits become Judgmental Ape Hits, resulting in half the damage dealt being returned to Thothwick. Accessory.) Merry Grogmas. -AG

Yes.

Atramor gets a little carried away with McColt's success, and ends up slinging a bolt of orange magic at one of the Warriors. He shrugs, not one to complain, but then winces. Most of the party were still pretty injured. "Cronk, I hate to say it, but I think we're stuck on healing duty...everyone else, I suggest ya' fan out, but stay in the back row, most of ya' are injured...McColt might wanna start encouragin' ya'll, we need to take these guys out quick." With that, he attempts to heal both Nyx and himself from the back row.
-
I don't think Shield rolls count, because the player is not healing/using magic by choice, and it doesn't use ether. I could be wrong, though.
-
Atramor nods to Nyx, preparing to heal Andrew (from the front row) if he is successfully hastened. "And, aye, as long as Cronk has his angel, you won't be able to bash his brains out..."

Long Quests are okay in my book as long as the heroes have a good bit of freedom. Having shops and friendly NPCs to chat with like you have helps out considerably. Just tossing around ideas in my head at the moment. Boomingham would love the most recent one. You pull it off considerably well. He's greedier than half the Rogues, and the fact that it's based in roleplaying rather than his actual class is really cool.
-
I did say a bit. I'm comparing against characters who were in the first three or so and have been doing Quests non-stop. Tesni's nearly level 30 already. It's also the content of Quests. Some of them are battle heavy, some aren't. For example, someone who's been in the Fields for a month likely has more experience than a hero who's been on a Quest in that same time. All a matter of what Quests you sign up for, though obviously the EXP isn't everything when it comes to those.
-
Dang, I need one of those Emerald Hoods. TheBoyWonder, if you're still planning on going Witch, would you consider trading a Witch's Talisman for one of them? You'd be saving over 100 gold. It's the original one, too.
-
It's the Quests. There was a 9 Quest gap between Atramor's first and second, which is why I think he's a bit behind experience wise.
-
Atramor stumbles backward as the Pongcanis Warrior's flail tore through his arm, bleeding profusely. "These bastards are more trouble than those apes...everyone, ignore Cleric A and the Warriors. Me and Cronk can Counterstrike them, and they won't deal damage anyway. If ya' can heal, heal." With that, he lowered the whip, and instead hefted Ratsbane, attempting to channel his healing through it, directed at Nyx from the front row.

You say that like road trips are ever enjoyable...
-
Alright, just making sure.

Awesome. How long does Pessimism's Jinxed effect last? The rest of the battle? Also, what happens when an Orderly Regulator uses a light elemental weapon, or a Chaotic one uses darkness? Do their elemental multipliers stack? (ie, x4 to Demons and Undead on Orderly using light)
-
I think that's a problem with several rogues. I don't think Atramor's ever fallen asleep not at the bar in Scheherezade's saloon.

Heartlake Heartbreak - Confirmation & Discussion Thread
CMP replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for having me, this game was a ton of fun. -
Atramor curses as he's slammed on the back of the head by a staff, but again lashes the Cat 'O' Nine Tails at Pongcanis Cleric A - this time, from the safety of the back row.
-
Didn't think so. Still an interesting class, though. Now I'm just curious as to what in the world would bring Byblos on a Quest again.
-
You might want to get rid of the Scroll of Luck, though, or your Shield's going to be questionably useful. I wonder if this is a one-off class for an NPC, or the new one? I would assume the former, but still...

Doesn't fit.

Agreed.

They had them designed before it was announced they were splitting what was to be two movies into three. Those scenes were supposed to be in the first movie.

"Well, sorry for savin' your sorry megablocks. Next time we'll leave you to it. The way it sits, we've got more business with these bastards than you do," grumbled Atramor to the guards, before snapping the Cat 'O' Nine Tails at Pongcanis Cleric A from the front row. "Cronk, put me in the bottom of the order. If I land a Special Mirror, I can heal ya'll up too." "'Ya might have to take a free hit, mate, if you intend on showin' the Seal of Bennetton to these guards."

Hmm. As I think about, this bodes very well for Lord of the Rings. One line for younger fans, one line for AFOLs (generally). It's a decent way to keep both historic lines going at once and still be successful. I'm fine with that, personally.

Even if half of these Grogmas Gifts don't get put into the game, they're giving me some really good ideas for new items.
