  1. That's why I asked. If it's not a perma-KO, you can save your essence, unless you think Atramor's crucial to winning. But I've already crippled the Warriors, so it shouldn't be that hard.
  2. The 'no fighting once KO'd' rule hasn't been applied in Quest 53 yet, right, Zepher?
  3. He put it down in his stats that way, and who's to say Althior isn't just a puppet for Finnegan to move around through? The party makes it way northwest, Thormanil taking the lead and hacking through numerous cornstalks before the party comes across their opponents. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! 4. The cart bearing the fourth party to venture into the Fields rolls into Mack Donauld's Farm, and the heroes file out one by one. They're soon swept off in a tour around the (remaining) farmstead by its inhabitants, familiar to the majority of the party. All that remains is to choose the first destination on the map. I cleaned them up a bit to make it easier for me to run the battles, but you can change them back at the end of the Quest if you need to. Flare, temporary effects don't carry through Quests, sorry. Posades, you got a Level-Up Mushroom as a result of Grogmas, please note if you want to use it now, otherwise it'll take a turn in battle.
  5. Was going to wait for you all to post/confirm, but I suppose it couldn't hurt to post the stats now.
  6. Nice build and story. It may have been difficult, but the end result looks great.
  7. I agree. He's come so far from being that annoying, snobbish, corrupt guard captain. Now he's an annoying, snobbish, failed adventurer.... I like his character, either way. I can't wait, I'm really glad to be hosting for such an awesome party. Exactly what I'm talking about.
  8. A goat ambles through the hall with a scrap of half-eaten paper in its mouth, setting it on the most populated table in the saloon, and bounding out the door the first dirty look Scheherazade gave it. Chosen Party for Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory Benji Carvenhall (Flare) *Party Leader* Bartholomew Docken (Brickdoctor) Xander Unth'or (posades) Thormanil Nihai (swils) Althior Emorith (k-nut)
  9. My thoughts exactly. These models are awesome, they're so....chibi.
  10. Shame that it's Gimli in the Council of Elrond, but at least we get Gondor Aragorn. Are you sure it's the Witchking in the Black Gate, and not the Mouth of Sauron? In both the movies and the books, he was dead at that point, and the Nazgul horses had been dead since Fellowship of the Ring.
  11. Effectiveness against elements stack, ineffectiveness and effectiveness balance eachother, and double ineffectiveness doesn't change anything. So quadruple damage to flying types, double to vermin and aquatic types, normal damage to mechanic, and no damage to rock and electric monsters.
  12. Right, but not if it was imbued with a Sapphire.
  13. No damage from either. Wind attacks don't affect mechanical or rock monsters.
  14. Sorry, missed the ignore row bit and I keep thinking Thothwick has a darkness weapon. Warrior B should be Badly Poisoned, though. "Talk about turnin' the tables. We've almost got 'em."
  15. Nyx and Andrew should be at full health now because I have Special Mirror and healed everyone for 50 points, and Cronk was healing in the back row, so the compounded damage from both Archers should total 9, not 18. Also, Fragile takes place immediately, so Warrior B should be dead at the hands of Thothwick. I don't think Warrior A should be Hexed anymore, either, but I'm not complaining... Atramor smirked as he reflected the Cleric's aura of healing, restoring the entire party to full health. Certainly beat out any healing he'd ever done....he then swung the Heavy Flail at Pongcanis Warrior A from the front row - if his strike landed, he would switch to Ratsbane and repeat the attack. If not, he would would continue to use the Heavy Flail.
  16. Atramor nods to Cronk. If Cronk succeeds in healing Nyx, he'll instead swing his Heavy Flail at Pongcanis Warrior B from the back row for his second turn, rather than healing Nyx.
  17. I can wait, Zepher. All this stuff would take a turn to use anyway.
  18. Wow. I'm surprised so many of these items actually got given. Well, Merry Grogmas everyone.
  19. "Aye, I say we let Hoke take the warrior's hit. If he, Cronk and I are up high in the order, they have a good bit of SP and I'm in the back row, so being Tripleshot rather than being Defensively Stricken would be better."
  20. I think it's a fair strategy. You're burning ether as much as you would with a spell, only no damage is being dealt in either direction.
  21. Sounds like you're really getting into licensed themes. You may like Prince of Persia, you can still pick them up on Bricklink considerably cheap. The movie wasn't great, but the sets are still pretty amazing. Even if you're not too much into the theme, Battle of Alamut was one of the best sets of 2010, in my opinion. Superheroes may also interest you.
  22. "Keep at 'em, mates," snapped Atramor, getting quickly annoyed at his constant hexes. He whirled the Heavy Flail at Pongcanis Cleric A from the front row, but then retreated to the back row, and attempted healing Nyx once more.
  23. Alright. Now I'm even more afraid of Battle Mages. They'd have to Blind and Sealed to stop them decimating opponents.
  24. Happy new year everybody.
  25. Acerpusculum. I wanna see more on the Fey Folk, personally.
