I think so (nice piece use, darkdragon). I wonder who will be the first to use Duplo.

Steampunk Mafia: Confirmation & Discussion
CMP replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I still think I'm the bagpiper master. Awesome game so far, Hinck. -
And that helicopter looks so badass too...oh, well. I prefer Dino and Monster Fighters, but it's still a shame.

Does fandom influence your Licensed preferences?

Hmm....my first Star Wars set, even though it was from Star Wars, I just wanted a LEGO lightsaber. I'm pretty sure I just got a Spider-Man set for Doc Ock, and I had every PoP set before I saw the movie. More recently, though, yeah, it does. I became a fan of Tolkien right before the LotR rumors began to take shape, but even if I hadn't, I would try to get them all. It helps, but the design/price/figs of the set is what really drives me to buy them. That said, I'm much more inclined to get Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape after seeing the action the figs get in the movie... -
Awesome one, Oky.

Good points, because it would add another layer of strategy to a game, I just think there's more downsides than upsides. Still, I disagree that the delay should be there in the first place.
-
I think Swils makes good points, some of us just disagree with them. What he's saying has a lot more meaning than just that.
-
Scrolls are items, so I'm pretty sure they're exempt from this, along with gems. But us mundane classes shouldn't have a penalty for being unable to use them, it puts us at a serious disadvantage.
-
That's exactly what I plan to do. Having to take a turn to switch between them kinda kills it. Not all in enemies in one battle are the same type.
-
I disagree. Other than occasional WP upgrades, I think I'm done with upgrading Ratsbane - the entire reason is that having too many elements in one weapon is already a downfall. I don't think having to spend a turn to switch in the middle of battle is making it more even. And it would make throwing weapons completely useless.
-
Artifacts, yes, weapons, no. You're gonna kill Hybros if it takes a turn to switch weapons...

You didn't miss much, I rushed it a bit too much. Boomingham's really developing well too - Barty makes a great addition. The whole issue with the orc gal in Quest 28 exemplified that.

Nice one, Agent.

Oh, the picture hadn't been up when I saw it. It just looks like a multiple-barelled cannon. I thought you meant an actual automatic firearm.
-
A machine gun???

Ahh. Well, in any case, you don't need to buy consumables anymore, so you've got nearly 2000 gold burning a hole in your pocket...I'd hold out for a quest with Mythril, Zoot's Reaper could be WP: 30 or have every gem.
-
Nice quest Xarrzan. The Dragon's Hoard made up for the overall lack of loot well. Why wouldn't it? Gold Reaper still garners money.
-
They're already producing it in that color for Series 7 Jungle Boy, and I agree it would be a good fit.
-
The color of Boromir's is exclusive. Aragorn's is painfully common....the actual style's been around for 2 years or so. See here.

I don't think so. The Sword of Decay is suitable to knights, barbarians, and mages, assumedly due to its magical nature. It makes sense to me, even if it is a greatsword. But for the most part I see QMs sticking to the list, and it does prevent confusion somewhat. Rogues and knights can use longswords, barbarians and knights can use greatswords, I think it goes.

"I just don't want these clueless NPCs guys going after her alone. I'll go with them after Wren." "I smell a deeply emotional personal quest coming up." "More like if I'm alone there's nobody to split the loot with." "Ahh. Typical."

So...Meahon's refusing to give Shanalon (who's essentially lynched an assassin on her own) the identity of his protector on grounds that he's constantly avoiding explaining properly, and making contradictory statements in doing so? I don't know what the hell you're playing at, but this is certainly the best lead we have today. Vote: Meahon Doughal (MetroiD) Mr. Meahon's Protector, if you A. exist, B. aren't Meahon, C. aren't scum, and D. want to be an actual help to the town, contact Shanalon. All of which I can't help but doubt, in that order from most to least.

Atramor sighs, grumbling and look discontent as everyone, basically, seems to agree with going after Mallelio. "I know. We're only gettin' paid for keepin' the important folks alive, but I can't deny Wren makes a good target, and if we somehow get her on a chain or she drifts into an evil monologue 'bout her plans, one of us needs to be there to make sure she don't try and make a break for it. Plus, look at what happened with XX. We went with the obvious solution, sendin' the strongest to go guard a passageway, and it cost two of us the battle. I still think at least one of us should go after her, seein' as we'd already have three others helpin' out."

It is sort of annoying. The only people I've really seen making this stuff work are the ones who've planned it (Tanma) or those who didn't even ask for it but roleplay it very well (Zepher.) Throwing it in like an extra little cliched detail doesn't make you look like you roleplay any better.

Atramor sighs, mumbling in annoyance once again as their morning is interrupted by the news of Mallelio, as well as a very interesting, brief discussion with Wren. Before any of them can ask questions, however, she's already gone, leaving the heroes with the choice of following Wren or saving Mallelio before them. He rubs his chin, McCafferey's voice flickering in and out of his thoughts. "I guess we split up again, eh? I suggest me and Thothwick go separate ways, we can leg it if the rest of either party goes down. I'd personally like to go chop up some cultists..."
