  1. That's the problem. Too much of a hassle. Only answer I see is if anyone wants to try and record all of this stuff, which Sandy would put in the Library (or, of course, different information topics).
  2. Whoo, we were right about Walter. This pretty much confirms the jailkeeper.
  3. No, but recording them would just be very fourth wall-y and mess up the feel that there's an actual world around the players.
  4. One of the best! (Again!) The mirror is simple, but very effective in the perspective.
  5. My plans were 1: Lord of the Rings and 2: The Hobbit. Stage 2 is commencing as we speak. I usually don't stray out of my plans for the year, but I did pick up the Desert Skiff and a lot more CMFs than I intended.
  6. Awesome article, Endgame. I would.
  7. Quest 56: Die, Heroes, Die!
  8. I am loving the looks of this so far.
  9. "You've gotta be joking..." mumbled Atramor, upon hearing the first word or two of the new mage's ridiculous accent.
  10. Vote: Walter (Waterbrick Down).I don't think the day killer's scum, and since there was no kill last night...
  11. Whoo. I don't think a double modkill is likely. The fact that the day killer did what Oscar suggested is a good sign, I hope he/she will continue to cooperate in the future.
  12. Good observation! Do you have anything to say for yourself, Zara?
  13. I was referring to where she thought Daisy was the best suspect for today. Well, it's mostly the bits from your exchange earlier today: He's open to the possibility the day killer is scum here, but thinks it's scum rather than the vig... ...but only because it's 'the simplest solution'. Now, I usually go along with the most rational explanation for things, but this would be startlingly unbalanced (even if we have a day protector, the odds of a protector protecting a day kill target are laughable). I'm not saying it's not a possibility, but it's a far cry from 'the simplest solution', there a ton of complexities to consider if the scum's way of winning is this intangible. This scared me a bit. Rarely are blockers actually told if their target did anything last night. If the blocker's not convinced their target was the killer, then keep your mouth shut, it's not worth dying to reveal. It also directly contradicts this. The reasoning is...okay. It's far more likely Jane's just a lazy townie, but it's still fairly scummy. What I don't like here is that he's using Oscar's own offense as a defense. His defense (I guess it's a bit of a stretch to call it a real 'defense', but she's still defending herself) is that he (Oscar) was suspicious of the same person he's suspecting, so he (Jimmy) shouldn't be seen as suspicious himself. I do doubt Jimmy was as sure of Jane's scuminess as Oscar makes out, but her response to this is even more scummy itself. Agreeing on a suspect with someone doesn't make your automatically innocent in that person's eyes. I think Oscar responded later saying that even though their reasons for being suspicious were the same, the conclusions they reached were quite different. That sort of ties into this. He wants people to be open to the idea that the day killer could be scum.... ...And suddenly the day killer is now the vig. It's not much, but it's Day Two, you mostly have to look at people's behavior.
  14. That all fits, my lunch (ham sandwich) enabled me to steal someone else's lunch, but the person I targeted seems to have eaten theirs. Daisy being difficult and insulting is to be expected, as much as I'd like to see her stringy, angry little form mashed into the pavement and picked at by attack dogs, I don't think we should condemn her for it, nor for a flavor cop result. It was a pair of black glasses, not a black hat. (This is mostly directed to Matilda. On another note, we need more sausages, spicy Italian, please.) I just wish she could be nicer in trying to help us, rather than this whole 'When Dicks Collide' sideshow we have going on. But, oh well. Can't say I have many suspects, but Jimmy would have to be the primary one today, for me. Some of what he says earlier in the day doesn't add up well.
  15. Well, that's a shame. I can't say I was completely convinced Trisha was scum, but I still can't help feeling disappointed. I guess she was more of a hindrance than help, though. I can't tell whether or not Zara's death was by mod or by player. I'd edge towards the former, if only because I can hardly remember the last time this sort of situation had a daytime murderer. Frankly, it's rather unbalanced no matter who such a killer'd be aligned with, as it can't be blocked or protected against, or even tracked, watched, followed, et cetera... On another note, I almost wish there was a nightkill. It's times like these that really bring out the paranoia in us all. Was it blocked? Protected? Was it a conversion? The suspense is killing me.
  16. Docken has a storyline?
  17. Thanks. I've been putting off a self and player critique for a while. And still sort of am. I'm glad you liked the characters, they will be showing up more often, hopefully. And I'm also glad the effect immunities weren't too much. I think you've got a point there, and it's definitely something I'll take into account next time. The boss fight and the following loot were actually based on what the players did while on board the ship. For example, had Thalion not spoken to Illdria or Melvin, they would've sided along with the automaton, and fought against the heroes. Had Arthur not made conversation with Knife-Tongue, he would've given the Scarf to Filmore (who would then use it on the automaton). The reason Jules fought against the heroes is possibly because I didn't describe him in enough depth, the intent was for the heroes to ask why he was so maimed, which brought him to explain he couldn't be healed clerically. If they offered to use consumables on him, he would've fought for them. I think I mentioned a while ago in the R&D giving out rewards for player interaction with NPCs, this was the main example. If they gave the harbormaster more drinks, he would've given them the Shipping Logs and a Battle Song as well. (He would've dropped a Whiskey if they fought him, but the heroes really cheap shot that bit, so they got nothing. )
  18. I can kind of see your point there, there's not really a straight-up Knight-based expert class. For me, though, Boomingham's pretty much the definition of Paragon.
  19. These teasers are awesome. But what the heck is that lady?
  20. My plan was to go Necromancer. . Then came the Regulator expert class. I doubt I'll be able to do two Ziegfried quests by the time I hit level 30, anyway...
  21. Thanks for the review, and the torso pics. They're awesome, especially Oin's.
  22. That's just- actually, that's exactly what we're doing. Shame about Zara. Did she say something today? I can't recall, and if not, it might've been a modkill. The though of a daytime killer frightens me. And probably Amy, too. I should hold her. You know. For protection.
  23. Whether you're scum or townie, I don't think you're any help to the vast majority of us, if this is any indication. I thought you were just a slightly confused townie, but this is just silly. Vote: Trisha (Trumpetking67).

  25. Alright, thanks.
