  1. Here is the real model topic: MINIMOG It took me about an hour to make in LDD, the axles and cab were a bit tricky, but it came out nice: Image NORMAL VERSION LDD Image FRONT PTO VERSION EDIT: Link wont work, so here it is: www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/Minimog/minimog-frontpto.lxf
  2. So two days before going to Legoworld I wanted to build a small unimog. After buidlinge entire night here is what I came up with: Features: Pernament all wheel drive Working live axle suspension on both axles Working fake I4 engine Motorized bed lift and rear PTO Optional front PTO powered by wheels. Here is the mechanics from under: Depending how you attach the bed with pins the bed can be tilted bacwards: Or sideways: The rear PTO is powered by a switching emchanism that switches power between bed lifting and PTO: Later while recording I noticed a possibility of a front PTO drive from the engine via the wheels: I made both versions in LDD: NORMAL VERSION LDD FRONT PTO VERSION EDIT: Link wont work, so here it is: www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/Minimog/minimog-frontpto.lxf Also check the video: Hope you guys will try make one and play arround with different attachments.
  3. Ability to assign a key to create a certain brick, for instance P creates a normal black pin.
  4. After 2 hours of bend tool, here is the model with both screws: www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/LDDparts/arctic.lxf Hope its okay.
  5. I made a shawed version of LDD file, I'm not selling the model, but the instructions in a shape of LDD file. No postage, all over internet.
  6. Antenna count is only 826 I can make a shawed version of him too
  7. So after a long and hard computer battle, instructions for THE BLACK WOLF are finally made. Becasue of financial crysis, the difficulty and the work that went into this model, I am selling these instructions for 10€. If you are interested, please send me a message. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDOIM_g6g7Y Thanks for the support!

  9. Yes they can, with the darker gray part. No friction and a higher angle!
  10. The new hub allows for a much higher steering angle with a CV, so you could use it for that.
  11. Great little part! I wonder if you can use it as a wheel bearing!
  12. Sorry i cant make an LXF file due to amount of odd bricks. I used bricks from all knds of sets, I gathered many parts in ym years of Lego madness.
  13. Simple, yet different! I like its uniqueness!
  14. Love the variable pitch propeller, its really awesome! And the 16 cylinder engine configuration? Just massive!
  15. You need to play arround with angles to fit all in.
  16. Log truck indeed looks very nice! I can see many new uses for the turntable too!
  17. Nice and compact! Looks like an official model, very professional!
  18. Thanks guys! I did try rubber beams for paws, but it caused more troubles, than good. The building went through several phases, with each trying to reduce the number of bricks and making evrtyhing smaller and stronger. All in all about 3 prototypes and arround a week. Oh anyone needs antennas? I got some 800 left
  19. It would be possible to lift one leg and balance on three, but walking with lifting legs would require a much stronger, less flexible body.
  20. After the not so succesfull Cheetah, I decided to make another quad. This time I used a central synchronised system, which moves all 4 feet, so they are always in sync. But to move each leg independently the outer part of les can be inidividually adjusted by an M motor and a worm. This way all legs can move independently, yet always stay in sync when walking. This breakthrough allowed me to save on functions and add new ones. Also fur, lots of it in shape of 500+ antnnas. There are a total of 8 functions: - walking: Powered by an Xl motor. - 4 M motors to move each leg independently - an M motor for tilting front legs via MLA's - M motor for flexing spine sideways - M motor for moving jaw and roaring (yes he roars) - PF lights Rear headlights used as eyes, lid up by PF: Woofy in his normal walking position: In order to prevent the legs from ripping out I used 6L links: One normal sized LA move the spine sideways, so you can steer the walking beast: Tail is built out of normal beams connected via frictionless beams in order to add some swing into it. The underside is not decorated as its usually not visible. You can see the MLA's for tiliting legs, gears that power the waling functions of the legs and the U joints in front legs, where they tilt. The front jaw moves via a worm gears and can bite quite hard. Notice how all teeth align: The 4 PF receivers are crammed on the sides of the wolf: Looking from above, I am really pleased with the smooth, slim shape of the wolf. And at last the controller is also quite complex: Here's a video of the beast: I am also planning to make LDD instructions for sale, if anyone is interested.
  21. Nice collection! Do you also build MOC's?
  22. Seems like all the fundations are there, just the engine needs to be tweaked. Great ideas you got there!
