Looks nice and dandy to me. I even managed to build the V8 engine block with ease. -
Electromechanical gearbox

Did you read my last sentence? I know the current problem, so its not good for real life. -
So I got this crazy idea, why not connect 2 motors in serial? If one motor gets stalled, the other one would kick in, so this would be vry good for a gearbox. 30 minutes later and here was my first setup: Using old 9V wires I manged to connect both motors without any modifications. The Xl motor has a clutch gear in order to give the M motor priority, so that the Xl motor doesnt turn when not needed. I installed the setup in the simple chassis, and here is the result: Notice, there are some other PF ideas in video. so how usefull si this gearbox? I think its a good idea, but practicaly stalled motor still use some power, leaving less for the working motor. Also the current is shared between motors and the bigger Xl motor can draw more current than the small M can take, so its not very recommended. But I think it was a good idea and experiment!

Seems like it leaks... check the edges with some soap and look for bubbles. -

Really original and good use of MLa's! Any particualr reason for using old motors instead of PF? Love the cab toO! -

Hehe good job! Godzilla looks rather cute. -
Playing arround with the newer styled suspension arms and H frames I managed to make extremely compact FWd with Cv's and hubs for low pivot point and high versatility: As you can see the A arms are angled to make everything very compact. Using RC unit's steering ouptut the steering can be nice and precise. The motors were placed sideways on the rear end to also power the rear wheels: The finished car: You may ask me whats the point of using AWD? - first because I can - second I wanted to compare performance with FWd disabled and enabled. On normal ground there is some difference in braking distance, but on slippery surface there is a lot of difference when accelerating. The bad side is that you cannot powerslide with AWD. - cause its cool! To top things of, here's a video:

Wacky Race

I think this is a really fun race! the key to winning IMO are hard wheels like those from roboriders and some good suspension. -

Good job! So small yet so strong! -
For the last few months I was busy making my first quadroped. It all started with the spine, which was built out of several 5L beams connected with frictionless pins, which gave it flexibility. To tilt the spine I used 2 LA's one for left/right and the other for up/down bending. After the spine was complete, work began on the legs. Each leg used 2M motors for tilitng the both joints. Also the front 2 legs used the Rc unit's steering output in order to tilt them together. in total there were 10 M motors and all in all 11 functions, 3 of them RC. The biggest flaw of the model was the large weight and the worm gears. Lego worm gears have a lot of slack, which caused this model to fell down quite a lot. Here are pictures of the model: Cheetah resting: Sitting: Front legs tilted apart: And tilted together: Agressive pose: Head view of the spine bent left: And right: View under: Stretching. Glowing green eyes: And finally the teeth: Here's also a video. I would like to thank to Eric Steenstra for missing parts and motors. Even thought this model failed, the next quadropad wont

Nice use of Mla's! Also like the fact you used 3 diffs!
