A MOC made during weekend. It's suppose to be a small full suspended car with a fake motor, working steering wheel, gullwing doors and more... This is the end result: The gullwing doors use 1x2 rubber beams to lock in on three different height positions: There is an inline I4 engine in the back: The steering wheel inside is also functional: Mechanics underneath: All in all i like the overall shape and functions, its a fun little model to play with. Here's the LFX file LXF file And a short vid:

Good looking and fast boat! Nice idea of skid steering! -
For the competition I decided to make a hybrid. A hybrid of the usuall offroad machines I'm familliar with and water vehicles which i'm totally unfamilliar with. Here's the reslut: Its a bit underdetailed, because any more weight on top causes it to be unstable in water. The same gears that power the wheels also turn the propellers in the back. The vehicle has skid steer drive and swimming ability. Notice the gears and propellers are half a stud offset to keep them from jamming. All wheel drive is needed in order to get out of the water. Its done via a combination of 24 and 40 tooth gears. I also made a digital model in LDD: You can download it here I DO NOT TAKE NAY RESPONSEBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO THE MODEL DUE TO WATER. The final result works in water thanks to the 6 wheels to keep it above water and the low weight, but its only suitable for still water. Its a good proof of concept though! Also a short video, matey!

Thanks for all the replies guys! About run time, I think it can run for some 2-3 hours before the battery boxes shut off. I can try 12:20 gear combo in the portal hubs, but that would make it less torquey -
This is the result of mixing PF and Rc's. This is by far the fastest, most hyperactive and craziest offroader i built. The power of 2 RC motors combined with the lightness of LiPo battery boxes and unimog's suspensin parts results in a truck that weighs arround 800 grams, yet has the power/weight ratio of over 4x than anything before. Gear ratio is only 1:9, which makes it by far the fastest crawler ever! To solve the problem with 8297's wheel slipping on rims, I decided to use the wider power puller rims. This did result in the truck being a bit wider than 25 studs by a stud. Suspension components and portal axles are from the unimog set (thanks to Dluders) to keep everything simple and light. Using my traditional portal hubs wouldnt work with these wide wheels. Suspension allows for good flex thanks to the long springs: Thanks to the wider rims the wheels are now actually softer and actually splat under the wight of the crawler, therebye increasing the contact patch and allowing crawler stunts like this: Please check the video: There is also an LDD file available without the unimog parts and the cab (too complex shape for LDD). LDD file Hope you like it!

And it works! Even though the plates are straight? Mayne some panels would act as better wings? Anyway awesome work right there! -

Good work! Only thing i dont like is the placement of the rear Xl motor, its a bit high IMO. Other than that its solid! -
