  1. the 12 rollers is smoother, problem is I dont have the proper wheels
  2. just noticed the rock crawler uses the new connectors used in log loader (the ones that look like a big.... ) for steering in front and rear.
  3. Hmm Lxf works fine for me. The vector racer uesed only 6 guide wheels per whel, while the sidewinder uses 10.
  4. It was going really well for him, but at least we all learned something... Anyway thumbs up for Mahj!
  5. Hooray! Love the way the crawler opens up, what a surprise!
  6. Today I got an idea on how to make a really simple, yet flexible technic rollercoaster tracks. All you need are LOTS of pin joiners and pins and few axle joiners. The cart is very simple and goes very smooth on the tracks. Now all i need is some 1000 axle joiners
  7. Thanks for the thumbs up guys As you requested, here's a picture of the underise: Notice the suspension arms used to hold the steering in place, total of 4 arms per wheel.
  8. After much time spent I managed to redesign my mecanum wheels with bigger and slighty smoother wheels. Having bigger wheels I decided to build a massive 4 XL motor strong all direction drivable monster. Here is the result: The doors and the steering wheel can open to show the interrior. Double V12 engines for maximum POWUH! The car also has suspension to smooth out the not-so-smooth wheels. Video of the car in action: Even though the car is quite heavy, the 4 XL motors power up the wheels with 1:1 gear ratio with ease. Thanks to the whels and independent 4x4 drive, the car is fenomenally agile and really fun to play, drive arround and trying different kind of tricks.
  9. Well seems to me that this type of suspension is very stable if you do not overdo the angle (like over 15 degrees)
  10. Thats really awesome! What a great and productive weekend that was.
  11. I think one of the issues is when newboarders use a very known design from a very known designer and fail to credit. But I also never noticed any dirt on homeforums,do you have examples?
  12. My only gripe about the 40 tooth gear is its massive friction when inserting axles in any cross shaped axlehole.
  13. Wow, a very interesting idea! Seems to work really great! Nice video editing!
  14. The track extendion function is awesome! I rally like the shape of the boom and the overall functionality. Only thing bothering me is the placement of the battery box, its kind of out of place.
  15. Great work pacing all that stuff into such a small model!
  16. 5) 1 6) 2 2) 1 10) 1 14) 1 13) 1 Good competition everyone!
  17. Wow, that is just massive! And so many funtiosn to play with! I really like the variable pitch, is a great use of a differential. Respect!
  18. Nice use of botles! Any picture of actual screws?
  19. A MOC made during weekend. It's suppose to be a small full suspended car with a fake motor, working steering wheel, gullwing doors and more... This is the end result: The gullwing doors use 1x2 rubber beams to lock in on three different height positions: There is an inline I4 engine in the back: The steering wheel inside is also functional: Mechanics underneath: All in all i like the overall shape and functions, its a fun little model to play with. Here's the LFX file LXF file And a short vid:
