    On eBay last night I found the series 1 zombie and crash test dummie, the series 2 spartan, and the court jester all for $20, including shipping!

    Now that's making the best of a new torso! I was looking back at the picture and was curious, is Wyldstyle's dress supposed to make her look "skinny"? Notice how the torso shirt design is smaller than her actual torso, seemed odd.

    As long as the CMF series is continued in some manner (numbered or themed) I will be happy. Even in down series' there's something for everyone! the printing is extraordinary and the accessories have been unique! it's fun all around.

    I'd like to see a few for my personal interests...how about an Adam and Eve?! (I know, I know, lego doesn't do religious figures, this is just a personal wish). Funny thing is, lego has actually touched on many historic topics (royal, cowboys, science, space) so a lot of generic figures can represent historic figures.

    Wow this thread got silly for a bit Honestly, my buying philosophy hasn't changed, get the ones I like, leave the ones I don't, regardless of series name or label. This series is shaping up to be a favorite on the strength of Lincoln, Shakespeare, and the coffee guy. They're some of the best figures yet! I could care less about a few of the others.

    I'm amazed at the rate new info is coming out about this theme! We've already seen the mini figures and what, 2 sets?! In the span of just a couple of days, I'm loving it!

    Yes yes yes! They look awesome! I'm so glad we didn't have to wait for the images, the Lincoln and the Shakespeare are amazing!

    Love the new trailer! Really wanting to see Abe now, a real must have! Oh and great find! This is a neat mashup between the friends theme and lego action themes.

    Fair point, but as many folks have pointed out, the trailer was littered with vintage characters so this may be a great opportunity to interest a new generation in classic characters.

    Im in the same boat with you. I filmed a video on my ipad using a app called frameograph which has onion skinning and several options. It was well worth the 5 bucks.     What surprises me is that it appears TLG locked up the next 3 lines by linking them to specific media (movies, tv, and games). It would seem more logical to release a "normal" series in between just in case interest wasn't as high in the other lines. That being said, the possibility of classic characters showing up in the CMF line is very appealing. I will just skip the Simpsons (unless it has some amazing accessories) and save for the next ones.

    Great to see a clear picture! Btw you might wanna note that most theaters let you put your name on a list to receive promotional material after the movie has made it's run. The Lego poster would be a unique addition to any collection!

    I know mr gold has finally started to fade but I noticed this while browsing eBay for other CMF deals: http://bit.ly/15Mre0Y For those not interested in following links, basically the title reads "one pack wins mr gold!" but if you read the description it says "You are buying ONE package of a Lego minifigure series 10. I have never felt these but I think by the bump codes I may have a Mr. Gold! So I will pick these at random and someone might get Mr. Gold! Good luck". This seems shameful and deceitful to me. To top it, the photos include an opened mr gold photo! What people won't do for a buck.
