I second this! I think a few creative clips could really expand some builds.

Hypocrites might be a little strong. They're a company trying to make money without bad publicity. A bar from an adult-oriented tv show could draw some ire so TLG will avoid it. A waiter holding a bottle with grapes...unlikely to garner any notice except by a few adults in an adult forum. TLG is a business, and will operate as such. Profits are most important, followed by image and I for one, have no issues with that.

Ya,you can find lots of CMF parts in there too. The lady told me they never have a complete CMF, but I was able to make a S2 baseball player, just without the bat. Saw several other cool elements as well.

A few months back I stopped by my theater and told them I was interested in the Lego Movie promotional material. I got the call today that my name was drawn so I recieved the two large movie posters from the movie! It may be worth checking in with your local theater if the movie is still running...

I got a similar coupon from eBay but if you read the fine print it said "valid on select merchandise". Most coupons are not applicable to every seller.

I've finally gotten around to looking at these so I felt I'd share my thoughts. First off, I primarily am involved in Lego for CMF and architect so I follow these closely. Obviously, a lot has been said regarding this series so I'll just focus on what I personally want and why. I'm not a Simpson fan so I'll be basing my wants on accessories. I love Homer's accessories, the donut is awesome! I want the baseball bat because I was able to build a series 2(?) baseball player at the Lego store but still need the bat. Several of the 2x2 accessories loom cool, I'll need a closer look. I'm interested in getting a closer look at Flanders mug, see what's on it. It may have already addressed but what is in Mr. Burns hands? That may be the extent of my wants from this series. I've never been a completionist so this series doesn't bother me at all.

Exactly! Lego will only benefit from competition, if MB is able to provide that competition is something we must wait and see on. I am highly loyal to Lego, but that's due to the quality and innovation Lego has. If Lego were to lose that, they'd have nothing left to offer me.

Ahh I remember that one. It also came in blue and red as I recall. Occasionally, there were smaller wing shaped pieces for the side of the helmet and that went on top.

Is the Ninjago film a theater release? I know it's early to speculate but a made for TV movie may be a strong route for it to go. I also feel the a Ninjago film would likely not reach a large audience. I hope TLG doesn't see film as it's future, seeing how much profit this current film will bring in merchandising.

The Spider-Man is just brilliant!

Watched it today and...WOW! I figured I'd like it as an AFOL, but not this much! So much was hidden in there, even a Fabland reference. And the ending was so amazing, even though my wife, as soon as she saw Will Ferrells basement, started laughing uncontrollably saying "that's just like you!" It was really fun though, with cool AFOL reference throughout. I believe I even saw the CMF des played on the wall.

Kmart had plenty out today. I made a quick search and grabbed Wildstyle, mostly for the outfit. With the exception of mrs. Scratch n Post I've gotten everything I want from this. The robots and workers don't tempt me enough to spring for them.

I think midget turtles are getting around I honestly don't mind, I just grabbed a town member and stole his shirt so were all set. Thanks again!

So I'm not sure if this is posted elsewhere, but it looks like lego is getting some press with google chrome.
