  1. wow, a lovely little thing, great work as always.
  2. How could I miss this beauty?? Eh, I blame the hot 2016 sets discussion thread It is really awesome and it's even more awesome to see it sits together with Madoca's trophy truck. The very best technic can do with present parts, am I right?
  3. Thanks, And thank you guys above for your kind words.
  4. Please moderators help to remove the "WIP" from this topic name, thanks
  5. What a relief! Just used to enjoying your reviews before them released these years and I think I'm addicted to the hamsters.
  6. Wow! I think this is the best technic Lambo MOC made so far! Really like the parts you've chosen, no visible rare parts spotted(not sure about the soft axles though) PS, not a fan of position of the IR receiver, can you lower it a bit? A stud lower will look much better I guess.
  7. Really like the compact design, great work
  8. Has been a while since last update. Finally, it is nearly finished now. Modular building is lots of fun and make the whole design much easier. Different parts got their own iteration without interfering each other. Thanks to agrof's encourage, I made another iteration of the front suspension and finally fixed the toe in issue. I put the steering rack before the front axle, it is different from the real thing but it can negate the toe in problem, so I can live with it . The final look without panels. Made a video to show its performance. The U joints still like to pop out in the FWD mode, but they are OK in the AWD mode. AWD mode is used during shooting the video. More photos and videos will come out soon. Thanks for reading.
  9. That will be too similar to the Volvo excavator, two wheel excavators in the same wave, another weird thing
  10. Very cool! You've captured the shape very well. I think it may look even better if you replace some yellow beams with black ones which can be looked as replacement of stickers. And count me in the video askers!
  11. So, a 50 euros licensed set or a 50 euros BWE, both will be unusual,
  12. Couldn't agree more! However, it seems nothing like that will appear on the IP car. For the 2H sets, I reckon below: Volvo wheel excavator: parts count/price like 42042/42008, the second biggest set(except IP car) of 2016. Using the new V2 pneumatic parts. Bucket Wheel excavator: a small/mid size set, something like 42028. Large machine does not mean large model. Also, larger set number does not mean larger model either, such as 42010, 42011, 42028, 42026 etc. Tractor: 2H flagship, remote controlled, I think the 94mm offroad tires will return, while the power puller wheel most likely not. IP car: It's an unusual set, so it's the hardest to predict. Like other guys said, $300 means a LOT! Parts number, new exclusive parts, limited edition, new PF(almost impossible though),Have no clue at all. But I personally am not a collector, only interested in parts to MOC, so I will pass it if it only has plenty of plain parts.
  13. Great MOC as always Your sequential gear box has been tested working great on my MINI countryman  It lacks the ability to switch gear without cutting the power for some time, but its efficiency and compact and robustness are very impressive!
  14. I've stopped building it anymore and it's like this: It has no gear box. Meanwhile, Paul did some great work trying build its 2 speed box at page 37 of this thread  . As to the 1h sets, I think I'll buy: demo jet: white little panels drag race car: light blue panels and tumbler wheels airport fire truck: red panels and 56 mm off road tires May buy: race boat: blue curved panels helicopter: white panels, orange panels, blue panels, since I've no bought 42025 nor 42040, will choose some among the three if not all of them
  15. Thanks to your idea, I built the steering like this: It is a little loose though. BTW I don't think it will has an auto center mechanism, since it's a manual set after all.
  16. I modified both the mirror and the window frame per your suggestion, and I think you are RIGHT again, it now looks much better than previous version . The whole thing is about to finish finally, and only the back seats as well as the front suspension left to be done. During the cross checking the final look with the real car, I found that the lower front bumper part is missing... Luckily, it was fixed easily. As to the driving performance, I think I'm pleased enough, since it drives pretty well on the highest gear on flat surface. Hope you like it and please comment below. Thanks for watching.
  17. Interesting that I started trying to build the race kart last night too. So far I've got this: Having not figured out the steering mechanism, the rear part of the car is hard to build too.
  18. Agreed and I did not realize that until wanted to used that as its tail light.
  19. I'm afraid yes... It is easy to fix and it's done. The mirror base of the real car is kind of thick, I tried to reflect that but over killed it I think. However, I think the new solution is a little too slick, so maybe should still keep the base 2L wide, what do you think? I used the 2L beams to reflect the black central frame of the window. However, I have to separate the front and rear doors by 1L to make enough room for the rear door to open, so the whole part looks a little weird. I'll try the axle connector to see if it looks better. You are right, it is like that because of the turning room, I'll try improving that, but a quick recheck shows that the wheel does need that much room to turn... Pity that I can not find white 32250 easily Sorry, it does not drive very well... The major problem is front suspension, the CV joints are very easy to pop out, changing them to U joints leaded to lots of geometry problems, which a complete redesign of the whole structure. So I decided to give up the front wheel driving function and make it rear wheel drive only. Also, many thanks for your suggestions, to be honest, after months of works on this project, I'm a little tired and wanted to end it sooner. Your comments give me lots motivation to keep on improving it.
  20. Probably the last update before final version: Only 2 doors, 4 seats and engine hood are unfinished. My BL orders will arrive soon and after that, I can get rid of the color jungle completely. Thanks for watching.
  21. I understand what you mean and will give it a try later Before that, I got the dashboard done: Adjustable steering wheel angle, please note the turning signal stick openable glove box Thanks for watching
  22. Looks like the white roof is a little more popular here, advises taken!
  23. Thanks a lot for your caring about this project I think I can make one white and one black roof then. I don't like that part either... Put some detail of that part below maybe you can help me figure out a better way The longitudinal torsion stiffness is good enough for me I think, the rear side skirt part is a little wobbly when twisted intentionally though.
  24. Again, some updating: The rear of the body is finally done . Still waiting for the ordered panels so the roof is temporary white at present. Also, did some more driving test and found that the CV joints are too weak and they popped out easily when stressed. Having replaced those with 3L universal joints on the rear axle, but I still need to fix the front axle Thanks for watching and your advises are very welcomed.
