Obviously, on the first question, product B is the superior option. After all, it's 0.00075 euros cheaper. For question #2, product A is 0.00425 euros cheaper. For this question: "Is a higher than advertised total price a reason for you to discontinue your purchase?" I would say that it depends on what the final price is. I never expect the advertised price to be the amount I pay. I check the splash page and the store terms before I start shopping in a store so I don't waste time filling a cart just to see that they charge too much for shipping or something. That said, I think percentage fees are stupid. They shouldn't be allowed on Bricklink. If you want to charge a percentage for something, just increase the price of the parts. If you have a flat fee, that's completely different. If I find a store that has something I want but they have a large flat fee, I'll just buy more from them so I feel like I get my money's worth after paying that fee.

I like how you covered the sewage hole with a grate. I've done something similar with jail bars before. It looks really nice having things sticking into those arch bricks.

1) It means not buying clone brands. It means not pretending to be too grown up to build things. 2) I love how it can take me anywhere I want to go. I use it as a time machine. I love to go back to the old west, the medieval time period, and to the future. I get to experience lots of cool things with it just by building. 3) Wild West has always been my favorite (well, ever since it was released) and Pirates comes in second.

You're welcome! The ball machine was by far the coolest new display this year (that is, new to Brickworld Indy; I know he's been working on that display for years). I have several videos of it.

Here are all of my photos and videos from Brickworld 2014!

Nice. I like how it looks like it's over 20 years old.

Couple webstore questions for fellow train folks?
jodawill replied to v6TransAM's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I hope it turns out well, but their about page looks totally fake. They claim to be from California, but that's obviously not the writing of a native English speaker or any professional business person. It could be a drop shipping scam. I wouldn't risk it. -
Very awesome! In terms of magnitude, it would be tough to beat this one. But I think yours has nicer details.

New grays actually closer to neutral gray than the old ones?
jodawill replied to Xfing's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It greatly annoys me that the difference exists because I have pretty much an equal number of each shade, but I have to say that the new ones are definitely much better than the old ones. But a lot of that has to do with aging, I think. I bought a new in box set (Rocky Reef) a year ago and the grays seemed to be a lot better than my other old grays. But the new ones are still better. The new brown, on the other hand, is stupid. It doesn't look bad in its own right, but there was nothing wrong with the old brown and the new brown is NEVER consistent. If you put together a big wall of 1x2 reddish brown bricks, it just looks like a pile of random colors. It looks like crap. -
[MOC] Fort Legoredo (a work in progress)

Thanks! I can't wait to see what you do with yours. Do you have a Flickr account I could follow? Edit: I found your Flickr. I've seen this post before. It's awesome! -
It may just be my computer, but it doesn't seem like OP's URL wants to be embedded. Here's an Imgur mirror: That's a good idea, OP. I also have hundreds of the same pieces. If I were working with green baseplates, I'd try it out too.

[MOC] Fort Legoredo (a work in progress)

Where should I put the 1x1 plates? Would you just put them in random places, or would you add them to the other plate formations somehow? -

Thanks! I think having the skull in the entrance is my favorite part of this MOC. -

That's a good idea, but I'm not sure how to work that in with the space I have. If I let the road baseplates overhang a little bit, I could put two more 16x32 baseplates in the back, but I don't think that'd give me enough room to build a mountain or anything. What could I do to this without adding any more baseplates? Ha… I just noticed that I have two of the wanted posters in front of the fort. I probably should remove one of them. -
I started this MOC during Christmas break and I hadn't touched it since until this week. (I'm currently on Spring break.) My goal is to build an entire western town with a train layout, but I don't have room to build the rest of it right now (although I have plenty of parts for it). Criticism is welcome. I'm sure there's a lot of room for improvement.

I have two Constitution Trains, one Helm's Deep, five Attack of the Wargs, and a bunch of miscellaneous LotR sets. I'm planning to resell them when the value goes up, although I'm very tempted to keep the trains. I already have two open ones. Haha

Catamaran

That's so awesome! I love it! It's too bad the boat fell over. I'm guessing it did some damage to the equipment, eh? I hope you make some more in the future. I'd love to see what else you come up with. -

For as long as I can remember, I've always liked to listen to Adventures in Odyssey while I build stuff. It seems kind of childish now, but it's tradition.

It'd be awesome if they released a giant, Lego exclusive castle that's like four stories tall all the way around with tons of details. I could see that happening.

I've never understood why City has always been such a constant staple while themes like Castle and Pirates have come and gone. (Seriously, Pirates? Was that ever not a great seller?) I agree with you that it'd be cool to see more cultures. I really liked the Spanish Armada in 1996. It's too bad they didn't make more sets with those minifigures. I'd love so much to make a huge Armada display, but the minifigures for that theme are really expensive and hard to find offline.

That crab is awesome. I love it!

I love Alien Conquest. It's one of my favorite space themes ever. But I'd be really surprised if we ever saw it come back. It's not really a classic theme. But I wouldn't have expected Agents to come back either.
