  1. I can also tell you it's not a Lego brick. It looks more like a gun to me.
  2. Yeah, and the uniforms and weapons haven't changed significantly since WWI (at least as far as Lego detail goes), so a WWI theme wouldn't be much different from a WWII or Vietnam theme.
  3. Thankfully, XP recognized the tower just as it would an unknown device if I wasn't using a VM. But Bricx is giving me an error message saying it can't connect to the RCX. I think I have to install an additional driver. I'm looking for that now. I found it by searching Google for rcxdriver.zip. www.4shared.com/get/yDlPktK-/rcxdriver.html Success!
  4. Thanks for the info, guys. Unfortunately, it seems that I won't be able to run MacNQC because it's a PowerPC application, which is no longer supported. I installed Windows XP in VirtualBox. I haven't yet had a chance to check whether the driver will work in the virtual machine. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
  5. First off, I apologize if there's a recent discussion on this. I wasn't able to find a recent discussion on the topic and the Eurobricks search said, "The following search terms are not allowed and were removed from your query: rcx, mac." I'm looking for an RCX 2.0 compiler and driver for OS X. I don't have any Windows computers, which isn't very convenient when dealing with the RCX, apparently. Is there anything out there that still works in the latest version of OS X, preferably something similar to C that doesn't use Java? (I probably won't have enough options to be picky though.) Thanks!
  6. Here's something to think about. WWI is now as far back in time as the western time period was when Wild West was released.
  7. Dangit. I hate this topic. Last summer, I was at a garage sale and asked if they had any. They said, "Oh, we just sold all of them a little while ago." It was only 9am. If only I had gotten there sooner. The person who bought the sets didn't take the instruction manuals. There were dozens of BIG sets from the late '80s through the mid '90s. All of the instructions were in mint condition. There was everything from classic space to forestmen and pirates. Lots of castle stuff too. There had to have been several thousand dollars worth of sets in that lot. They sold all the paper stuff to me for $5. Everything was flawless. There were tons of posters, birthday kits, fan club letters, Brick Kicks magazines, and everything. EVERYTHING. Mint condition. DLFKJSLDKFJDKLSFJLSDJF
  8. I've heard Aquazone was actually planned to be part of the space theme and be related to Blacktron or something like that.
  9. It looks great! Garsh
  10. Cool. That's interesting.
  11. There are no fat male minifigures either. What's your point? Do you think they should start making obese children minifigures so fat kids will think it's normal to be obese?
  12. Did that guy in the red jumper have a name? When did he disappear?
  13. You might have to have at least 50 posts to get that option to show up.
  14. Click the "Send to front page" link at the bottom of the page. Edit: http://i.imgur.com/PzhuoOv.png
  15. The guy sounds like Will Ferrell on steroids.
  16. I like twisty puzzles (rubik's cubes, etc.).
  17. I actually thought the new pistols are pretty cool. I don't often use the connection at the other end of the gun. But they do look more like Playmobil to me. I guess time will show us whether they'll ever be used again. I certainly have more than enough of them.
  18. I don't see them as advertisements. A lot of people are interested in the new releases.
  19. The only Lamborghini TLG has ever released was the Gallardo.
  20. Wow. How did they exist back then?
  21. Pirates Wild West Forestmen Ice Planet 2002 Classic Space Whatever series they reboot next, my biggest hope is that the minifigures and parts are visually compatible with the originals. One of my biggest Lego pet peeves is when they reboot a theme but make the minifigures and stuff so vastly different that they can't be displayed next to the old ones. (Yeah, I'm looking at you, Lone Ranger cavalry.)
  22. I always listen to Adventures in Odyssey. I'm a little old for it now, but I still do it because it's tradition. I've done it that way for 20 years now, so I see no reason to stop.
  23. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere. http://i.imgur.com/CpxpCdb.jpg
