You can occasionally find them cheaper. I found a seller with 12 for six a piece from Michigan. It depends. Still it would be nice if Lego gave us an actual affordable way of obtaining them.

I think i've come to a realization of a big discrepancy in the current SW canon. According to Wookiepedia the destruction of the Second Death Star came six months after Hoth. Then the Battle of Jakku occurs a year after Endor and is the end of the Empire. Yes there's the First Order but they are completely out of the picture at this point. To me this is the most unnecessary and unrealistic part of SW, and this is coming from a guy who will accept a laser defying space time to destroy planets on the other side of the universe. How did the Empire fall so quickly and why did whoever in charge of the canon rush the end of the galactic civil war? Considering there is a good thirty years between Return and Awakens it's wholly unnecessary. Even with two such crushing defeats the size of the Empire should still several years to collapse in on itself even under splintered or poor leadership. Also how did the Alliance build a large enough fleet to topple the empire a year later when they suffered so many casualties at both Hoth and endor? Jakku was a massive battle we know that. But hypothetically if even half the remaining Imperial Fleet was present and destroyed there would still be sizeable pockets of Imperials remaining. I guess my point is it's really annoying those in charge made the Empire fall apart a year later rather then seeing the Imperial collapse even five years after Endor as that would do nothing to hurt the canon as it is. They didn't leave themselves breathing room for explaining the course of events. To me it's unnecessary simplification.

I live in a small space so the floor tends to be the best way for me to maximize spreading out bricks ability. I just lay out a sheet so that the bricks are somewhat contained. I'm always kneeling in a prayer position or cross legged whenever i'm on the ground. I try to only deal with minifigures on the table however.

Excellent review Bob! You definitely seem to have entered into this with open eyes which is impressive considering how big an impact this set has made throughout the AFoL community. Here's my only question, how do you think your opinion would have changed if you had to buy this rather then receiving a review copy? Your review seems extraordinarily fair, so i'm not questioning your sincerity, I really want you to know that since you cannot tell tone on the internet. You do talk about the set being expensive as well. I'm just curious how your mood would have been having completed the model and also being down $250? (Unless I read it wrong and you did buy it?)

Well with the Luggabeast there was no real way of showing the rust in a way that looked good. Sure normally a designer could use lots of little pieces to do that but look at the awkward situation of it being armored plating. Short of being molded I don't personally see how they could have. The blue itself is spot on to the original. It just doesn't display the same weathered look.

Hola como esta! Me llamo Alarico Leyva! You insult Godalupe Leyva or step on my native Mexico and fellow Mexicans then you'll have another thing coming for you muchachos, comprende? Good, good I thought we could come to an understanding. Now let us kick back, drink some Jarritos, and catch these so called Ultimatio tontos! -
What if the blue and white rogue One ship is another A Wing set and TLG pulls an M Night Shyamalan?
-
We need a rebel transport badly! So I hope the U Wing is one especially since we certainly dont need yet another Rebel Starfighter. I tried making a midi gallofree transport in Lego to fill that roll but no dice never looked right.

I'lll edit my comment later when i've read the story but wow this set up is so awesome! The lighting the scene! This is so cool! It feels like we're at the bottom of a crevice on some alien planet! Love it! For me this is a massive step up from Discover on Tatooine which is great but wasnt as unique as this is! -

Yeah the torso for the Rogue appears to be reddish brown with green on the printing. So definitely much more versatile of a figure then previously thought for sure! -
What do you know? If you do know anything just give a hint, your so ambiguous.

Love the scenery and the excellent smartly build moisture vaporators! I do think that it's a little busy figure wise considering they're out in the middle of a desert seemingly, but overall I like this a lot! Cool entry!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 16 Rumors and Discussion

Well when you look at heraldic symbols across nationalities certain symbols can appear very similar. Perhaps they do not have to be apart of Wolfpack or maybe they used to be and simply have retained the symbol. I guess my point is there are a billion ways to explain the wolf face. I'm still really annoyed that the rogue only comes with one dual molded arm. That color green is fairly common so I wish we had gotten two dual molded arms and we could simply switch the other arm out if you still want that look. As it is with only the one arm, using the dual molded arm for other figures is sort've a no go now unless we get more asymmetrical torso designs that somehow work perfectly with those colors. -
He mentioned a tie pilot and a death star trooper as well I believe. Wait I didn't even think about this. Could we be getting an updated Imperial Pilot figure in the likes of the FO pilot with the molded tubes?

That's the thing. I am a massive trekkie and Star Wars fan. I told this to a co worker whose an uber nerd and she was astounded I could be both. I feel especially with how politics have gotten in the US, American culture has shifted away from it being cool to be able to be in the middle of two "extremes" and take or enjoy the good things from both. Marvel and DC films tend to be very different in tone and that's only a great thing for us fans! I don't want every superhero movie to be super gritty or dark or realistic but on the same token I don't want every superhero film to be cartoony either. With SW that's why i'm super excited for Rogue One. We're finally going to get the gritty war film. Variety of films in a universe as expansively diverse as SW is almost certainly never a bad thing. Even if the anthology movies fail, which I doubt, i'm excited that at least Disney is trying different things that appeal to different parts of the fanbase. The parts of Rebels I despise are the cartoony obviously very disney parts but the more serious on par with Clone Wars parts I adore. It's still a kids show so it obviously is intended for a certain audience first with more adult themes added in. I think my dislike for the kiddy parts of the show would be dampened if we were getting more serious SW material showing the dark side (no pun intended) which we are which I think will allow me to enjoy rebels more. For example if the Empire gets stuff done in Rogue One I wouldn't mind if stormtroopers are kinda lame in rebels for instance.

Can't believe I never saw this as this was around when I was first active on Eurobricks. Wow excellent MoC Brickdoctor! Welcome to Eurobricks! Just an FYI when a topic is more then six months old (and even that can be a stretch) it's best to not comment and simply better to enjoy viewing. Otherwise due to the huge swathes of creativity and excellent MOCs that have graced EB through the ages the SW forum could be quickly filled with old out of date topics. This will drown out all of the wonderful new and recent MOCs members.

Awesome thank you! -
Yes raise the fire hawk! We need updated rebel naval troopers! You know what I find crazy, is that next January theres a significant chance we'll get another rebel vs imperial battle pack. If we get a new naval trooper it'll be reminiscent of the battle packs from 2008.

Alright so i've seen it many times asked but now that it's happened I can't figure out what to do. I got set 75136 and my R2-D2 has a terrible misprint. If I contact Lego will they send me a replacement for free? If so who or where do I go to get in contact? -
Well my issue is Dengar's torso and head should be light blue grey or sand blue as the under armor does not read as white at all. The armor print looks great. The legs also should have gotten printing. I get that it might be a little costly but how do we keep getting so many important characters without leg printing. That should be standard for any armored figure at this point.

The blue and white one looks so much better then the orange and black. Thats not an insult of your original model but just a personal prefernce as I dont particularly like the orange and blacm variant of tbe x wing either. I commend you on your version of the updated model as it looks similar enough to the original but still pushing the design further.
