Woohoo Garm Bel Iblis! He doesn't really do anything in the Force Unleashed but the dude looks like a badass and your figure of him is super cool. Great scene, one of best parts of the game's story. My only issue is the terrain and table are both very simple. It's not so jarring if one is simplistic but having both makes the scene itself not seem as interesting. I'm not saying this is bad at all, the shaping is all fantastic and the concept is there plus what you built is also well done. I think however if you want to have a better chance in the contest you should do something more with it to make the scene stand out, to be more unique. Right now besides the figures (which are solid ) the build is a little generic.

Alright Alliance we need to regroup and recoup our losses. It was a risky operation assaulting Kuat, belly of the Imperial Navy, and while yes our mission was a failure we must hope we struck a cord within Imperial Command. No Imperial world is safe.

Finally saw the final episode of season 2. Wow! As a person with admitted problems with the show, that episode was perfectly epic! First off I was dying when the one brother helicoptered in then later tried to but instead fell to his death. I laughed harder then I should've. I am annoyed he died as that was my favorite design of the inquisitors and now we are probably never going to get him as a figure. The lightsaber fights were all great! Maul was excellent and I hope he comes back! Not to restart the Ashoka debate but I really don't think it's in Vader's character to show mercy, not until Luke in Empire Strikes Back where Vader clearly isn't trying to kill his son. Arguably he was closer to Obi Wan then Ashoka and he killed him in cold blood when he put his weapon away. I don't think there was anyway she would've let him escape alive considering what he became. The only way I can see her surviving is if she fled and made it appear she died by falling or something. No I think regardless of her actual fate she might as well be dead. I think we are going to see a much darker show in season 3, in the same manner as the Clone Wars became grittier and more adult. Thats only a good thing. I hope we get to see the Imperials manage to beat the protagonists in an Empire Strikes Back fashion. At the very least let stormtroopers have better aim. This could be easily explained as Lothal and other planet garrisons getting less experienced troops that are more for show then combat, so as the growing threat of the rebellion spreads the Ghost crew begin to face against better trained troops. These stormtroopers can look exactly the same but maybe they're actually battle hardened soldiers.

Yours is much better then Lego's. Still if they wanted to even match yours they would've had to make it UCS. If you don't mind me asking, and if its not too rude to ask, how much did your Phoenix Home cost?

Assault on Hoth UCS Mwahahaha I kid. No I think the original turbo tank may be underrated. It was big and bulky and although isn't perfect is the best version of the tank i've seen (including the upcoming one). The light up Mace Windu was god awful but the clones and original Kashhyk Scout trooper was epic!

My issue with the actual ship is that it's too grey. You would think that it would have more orange? That's easily fixable on the model though.

His mom made it sound like this was only a small part of his collection, still though that must have sucked. The bucket was probably $300 worth of legos, there were a couple $100 city and space sets which will prove very useful in MOCing. As I was buying the bucket though I was going to give the money to his mom. She shook her head and told me to give it to him. The kid was right there watching me root through his stuff Here's the thing he was probably around 12 or 13. I couldn't imagine how i'd feel if I were him. I had only brought $30 foolishly. He had other sets bagged at a third of their original price including a whole bunch of Pirates of the Caribbean. I think I got all of the Star Wars. I don't feel completely guilty because somebody was going to buy them, and at least I know I can attempt to make some pretty good MOCs out of them.

I would argue Lego's version is way, way too big. Yours is perfectly sized! I believe the Imperial version was in Empire at War as well (could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time. )

Technically yes but in the same wave for $80 you get two excellent ships including the first Grand Moff Tarkin in years (Even with my issues with uniform color) and a new hope style Darth Vader, plus a new pilot and Sabine.

The ship looks great although doesn't hold a candle to Nerdyone's version. Figure selection is both great and horrible. Ashoka looks fantastic! Sato is great! Ezra, Chopper, and Kallus all seem thrown in to increase the figure count without actually having to make new figures. If they were going to do that they could have given us Zeb for those who missed him. Edit: $90?!!! $90?!!! That's insane. For only two new figures?

So it was just announced that Black Panther is going to have a 90% African and African American cast (makes sense since it's set in an African country regardless of it being a fictional one). I really hope we get a bunch of sets since A) Blackpanther is a badass and B) We might finally get a surge in dark skin toned minifigures. I like my rebel alliance army to be diverse and right now the only black guy I have is the one from the First Order Battle Pack. I think besides the upcoming ghostbusters sets there are no black female figures so even if we get one more i'd be cool.

Can't wait for more mafia! Sweet! Talk about raising the steaks!

Does anyone know if you set a photo on Flickr to private, will it mess the pictures up anywhere else? I do a lot of profile shots for Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka but they sort've clog my photo stream up and mess up the stream of builds. My hope is if I set certain pictures to private they just disappear from my public photo stream but don't get messed up here on Eurobricks. Thanks guys! It's a lot of good information i'm going to use when I attempt to build my bridge.

Interesting ship design, it's very different yet still feels cohesive nicely done!

I remember when the RotS sets came out I loved the design, although you are absolutely right as an adult now looking back it does make everything look cheap. They came out at one of the heights of collecting (although at that age it was still all playing then anything) Lego with me. So I have fond memories of the packaging look. The yoda one from a couple years ago of course looks great. Ralph McQuarrie Vader was perhaps the coolest. I did not love the clone wars packaging, it was okay and at the time it looked decent enough but there's something garish about the look.

I have the Republic Attack Tank and personally I don't think it holds a candle to your MOC. Excellent job! The proportions are great! I love it!

One of fhe wealthy areas of my region had a large yardsale fest. This mom made her son sell a large portion of his lego collection. I ended up haggling for a bucket of random stuff for $10. In the bucket I ended up getting the last two tank droid sets including Jango Fett. Things get better. There was also the x- wing microfighter and the old republic sith vs republic battle pack. For $10 that was not a bad haul.

When you google the set number and combat frigate the first image result is a card from a hoard game of the Pelta Class Medical Frigate. The one I believe is the rebel flagship. My money is on it being the Pelta class which would actually make a lot of sense. The flagship featured heavily in the episode with Darth Vader's fighter tearing through all of the A Wings. Since one of the year's big rebel sets is of those two vehicles making the exclusive something that goes along with it is good for getting people to buy both.
