Well specifically he said he was not a fan of how much it mirrored A New Hope. He said he would have done something very different.

Sorry for the double post but I actually made some more modifications to narrow the legs.

Truth be told we"re more likely to get a Tie Interceptor or bomber first as both have appeared on the show as actual ships. Now if the Defender is shown as a real working ship and not just schematics I will be more inclined at its possibilities. Either way I hope we get one. im not against TLG producing more ties.

So 2017 prices, are people salty or what? is it justified? Has Lego over inflated prices or are the complaints simply whinging?

Yeah to anyone reading this thread please dont do another. There is only one thread on 2017 sets and the mods locked it for good reason.

Looking good Goatman! Weird question. does anyone know how tall an unmodified AT-ST model is in inches?
-
That is in an incredible shot one that reminds me of one from the Essential Guide to War. I'll find and post a pic when its not three in the morning where I live. Out of curiosity do you know offhand in inches how tall is your AT-ST is? You have already built one of the largest Lego Star Destroyer in the world, I think you crossed the path of no return with collecting Lego quite a while ago Mind you the Tyrant will forever be an impressive accomplishment. Your collection is just awesome!

You know I get Kallus was an Imperial but considering he saved their butts and is the spy feeding their cell information, Ezra's and Kanan's reactions and desires to inflict him harm made them come across as kinda awful. I mean Ezra force threw him really hard through a computer into a metal desk and then Kanan jokes he wanted to do that. I don't have a problem with their reaction because I would imagine they might in that scenario considering the history but it oddly makes me dislike both of them. I feel bad for the dude on the speeder and while I don't approve of Thrawn's methods I don't know if Thrawn's being unfair. Ruthless? yes! A bit cruel? Certainly! But the dude also sabotaged a military vehicle with the intent of blowing up someone else. I mean yes he is basically blowing up a nazi so it's kinda justified but still he was going to kill someone else, so Thrawn is really doing to him what he was going to do to someone else purposely. Of course what makes this scene even more twisted is when you realize that both the guy who built the speeder and the biker who the engineer was planning on killing are probably both conscripts that got pressed into service. Good god that is really twisted the more i think about how this may be a prevalent issue within the Imperial military industrial complex. Conscripts killing other conscripts that are merely replaced by even more conscripts. It's not patriotic Imperials dying its just the scrubs that were forced to be there with the higher ups, the real people that need to be killed, unaffected in the slightest.

Oh why'd you have to post that picture...Now any doubts in my mind have been cleared. I'm building one. That shot, more so then the others for whatever reason has convinced me to do it. Fortunately I believe I own about a third of the required pieces, possible half.

I'm actually very confused at the moment. When is the release date of the new sets? Are the RO sets coming out sooner and the Phantom is coming out in January?

[SoNE Ep. XIII] Naboo - Traitor In The Sunshine
Forresto replied to Commander Beltar's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
I love love love love love....you get the idea , love the lighting! The lighting makes the scene! The build as well is superb and i'm impressed by the amount of leeway for photography you were able to get! Well done! Although know if we ever cross paths, on behalf of Bith everywhere, only one of us (our sigfigs) is making it out -
So I did air measurements of how big this beauty is with a ruler and good lord is this thing huge! I mean I genuinely underestimated the true size of this assault walker.

Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka Episode XII: Flight from Ice With the siege finally broken on Javin, once an Imperial surrender was given after five hard-fought months and extensive casualties, the Alliance firmly gained a foothold in the Javin sector and greater control of the Corellian Trade Spine's Outer Rim reaches. I thanked the gods the battle did not carry on into the city streets a battle that would have forced us to root the Imperials out building by building, block by block. Now an occupying force we buried our dead strewn across the many trench works and bunkers of the Imperial defenses and prepared fortifications of our own in the event of Imperial reprisal. During one of the final charges on the Imperial battlements, I stumbled into a bunker where a Pathfinder detachment was busily interrogating an Imperial army officer by the name of Ferad. The Pathfinder squad had lost their technician and slicer so I offered my services as an experienced slicer and helped download the data stores from the bunker's computers. I couldn't make out much of the data except that it involved the Black Sun Crime Syndicate and Commander Skywalker. I didnt ask. The shistavanen in command of this particular Pathfinder unit dismissed me and I returned to what survived of my battalion. Fortunately for our battalion the Imperial Defenses here had been far weaker and sparse then other sections. Several days later I received orders from Alliance Intelligence that I was to temporarily be transferred to serve as slicer for a commando group, the same one from earlier, on a highly important mission in the Yarlith Sector bordering the Javin Sector. Our destination a place of nightmares still carved in my mind. Due to Javin's close proximity we were dispatched in a triad of U-Wings to deploy at Hoth, specifically to land at a ridge just beyond the still smoldering remains of Echo Base. My entire battalion along with many others had been wiped out on these icy fields. When we landed the bodies of fallen troopers were perfectly preserved from the frigid climate, littering the area for as far as the eye could see. As I would soon find out, a Vigo of the Black Sun had taken operations in the ruins of Echo Base and was using the facilities to expand Black Sun interests in the sector and our mission was to capture him alive. I was required to hack and slice our way into the base and through the countless digital and physical booby traps the Alliance had left for the invading Imperials. The Pathfinders swiftly decimated the unprepared and aloof Black Sun forces and we were able to capture the Vigo, a portly Nemoidian. As we made our way back to the U-Wings several clicks aways we heard the haunting call of something in the distance approaching. Of course rumors and eyewitness accounts had circulated amongst the personnel stationed at Echo Base of horrible monsters that lived in the snow wastes. Of course many of us had seen Commander Skywalker return with the smuggler wounded from a fearsome animal. We hastened our movement but one of the oh so frequent storms Hoth was known for swept in obfuscating our vision with a thick white mist. That was when unit members began to disappear one by one. The monsters of Hoth were all too real... 4 ABY: Ice Plains Near the Former Alliance Echo Base on Hoth "Go, go, go!" "AHHHHHHHH!" "Jannis!" "Don't stop!" "Get your feet in gear Weskers!" "AHHHHHH!" "WESKERS!" GRRRRRAAAAAAAAWWWWRRRR! "We're all gonna die!" "Nobody stop till boots hit durasteel, or I will shoot you myself!" "I can see the U-Wings, we're almost there!" 2x First Order Generals 1x Director Krennic
-
There was a screenshot from next weeks episode I saw that I can't find now. However it showed something kind've cool...Obviously don't read if you don't want possibly a big spoiler.
-
The only Hoth set I want to ever see in the next year or two is either a UCS minifigure scale AT-AT or an AT-AT that is at least plus size and considerably larger then the regular system scale.
-
I got my Krennic for ten dollars on Bricklink. That seems a lot but i'd rather pay that then buy a set I don't want for him.

The rank bar should have a blue square of six pips to the left. on the top right a line of three yellow pips and on the bottom right a line of three red pips. Not the biggest deal in the world and im not upset. I wish they had gotten the rank bar right but at least the head and hair are correct. Considering we are FINALLY getting a Thrawn fig, im estatic. However even Admiral isnt correct because he has the golden epaulettes and white uniform which a regular admiral does not wear unless they are ISB. Also he has double pairs of code/security cylinders in breast pockets so again clearly meant to be a Grand Admiral despite the rank bar.

[SoNE XIII] - Bespin - Necessary Measures
Forresto replied to Kodan Black's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
What a gorgeous scene! This feels very 70's futuristic in a way as well as a bit surreal. I like this a lot despite you're use of the old yellow colored minifigures I love the table, carpet, and the sculpture in the background. -
Just bought Specter of the Past and Vision of the Future. They're apart of the Thrawn Duology, a sequel series to the Thrawn Trilogy set tears lated and I can't wait to read. So all in all the Thrawn series is five books in total. unless you count the prequels books like Outbound Flight. I dont know if i'll go that far yet.
-
That's just a prediction. Could be $30. Although $40 is more likely given the piece and figure count.
-
Out of curiosity does anyone know what's down the pipeline from now? I know there's going to be Hermione, Goonies, Marcelline, and potentially Red Dwarf but are there any other rumors or lists out there? I went back like ten pages and could find too much on future releases so I figured I hit the point where its appropriate to ask.

[SoNE Ep. XIII] Bothawui - Surrender Would Have Been An Option
Forresto replied to MKJoshA's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
A very relaxing scene you have going here. I especially like the concave form on the wall you're commandos are scaling! -
Exactly why I wasn't concerned. I knew TLG wouldn't screw it up. However they did mess up the torso print for the rank pips... Thrawn should have a square of six blue to the left. Then three yellow on the top right and three red on the bottom right. I'm not mad, I can live with the regular admiral pips as long as the head looks great which it does!
