  1. All I want is a proper mold for the Rebel Backpack that we can get in standard grey or brown and the winterized white.
  2. Instant buy! Great Figures and excellent model. wow never did I think i'd buy an A Wing
  3. Again TLG box art is and has not been reliable to figure printing the last few years. As someone previously mentioned take Darth Vader's legs on the A-Wing set. Thrawn's red eyes are so distinctive, and so famous, I cannot see the designers screwing that part up unless they intended to make his eyes black for some reason. However I seriously doubt the latter as even Thrawn's pupils are red and the skin around the eyes are pink. No black on those eyes anywhere. So i'm not concerned until we see the mini figure.
  4. I'm trying not to watch many more of these trailers or clips for Rogue One but this one has me so hyped. Breathe Teaser
  5. Thanks so much for the reviews. This set looks absolutely excellent!
  6. Looks a thousand fold better then what the box art showed. I know the marketing and graphic design people can't help the discrepancy between full 360 views of a three dimensional model and a static two dimensional image of the same three dimensional model but recently TLG has been letting slip unflattering box pictures. I don't care that they do it because ultimately the box is meaningless compared to the actual set but i'm simply curious why?
  7. So I caved. I finally bought eight figures. Weeping Angel, Dalek, Xenomorph, Independence Day Alien, Metaluna Mutant, Creature from the Black Lagoon, and Robby the Robot. I have to say as a massive fan of Mars Attacks, im irritated that of course with my luck one of the first Pop Vinyl figures was a Martian Trooper....its like ninety bucks online, oh well maybe they'll rerelease it. does anyone know if figures ever return from the vault?
  8. The Utility belt will be excellent for rebel troopers. I plan on getting a lot of them. It would be incredible if they created a stormtrooper variant of the belt so that we could retrofit our imperial armies. I'm proverbially salivating at the thought of it!
  9. Something of an interesting catch but the bottom of Thrawn's Star Destroyer has the design of a chimera painted on. It's just ever so slightly there though, nearly the same color as the ISD's hull. In the actual episode you can only barely see the thick outline of the neck curving around the shield generator sphere so its definitely there but not really visible unless you brighten the image as a person in another forum did as seen in the bottom picture. I don't know if that means the ISD itself is called the Chimera, or if just like the Yslamari Statues this is another visual nod to the old Thrawn. I just finished reading the Thrawn Trilogy for the first time and I have to say Thrawn is easily my favorite EU character. Just behind would be Talon Karrde and Garm Bel Iblis. I also realized something that excuses Thrawn continually letting the rebels escape. He's not trying to merely destroy this cell but he's attempting to uproot them as well as connecting cells. If he were to just obliterate the Phoenix cells the others would go into hiding and the rebellion would persist indefinitely.
  10. I think this proves above and beyond how big a star wars fan we are all that we've noticed the side vents on a stormtrooper helmet is a slightly different shade of blue/black.
  11. Based on this last episode I do have a couple predictions on what's going to happen this season.
  12. Are other retailers actually making many Rebels products? Anytime im in the starwars aisle at Target I barely see Rebels products. I used to see tons but not so much now.
  13. The show I think hurts from the 30 minute format that translates to about only 20 minutes of actual show. I don't understand why they don't just make the show a full hour. Disney can afford it after all Star Wars is a top property of their's. At least do two parters more often. I just watched the eight part miniseries Stakes, apart of Adventure Time, and while each episode is the same length as one of Rebels the continuing story felt suitably epic. The four parter arcs of the Clone Wars are often the best stories that series ever told. In fact I think the best episodes of the Clone Wars were all multiple parts. Thrawn is indeed beginning to feel like a crutch for the writers. I think that's because of future plot lines and writers being asked to shoehorn him into an episode. He's always great but they have got to stop showing him let people go. Yes I know its for his overall plan/trap or whatever and i'm sure and hope it will pay off but right now it's beyond frustrating.
  14. Thrawn must have red eyes, I don't think i've ever seen a single picture of him without crimson stare as it's sort've his iconic look maybe more so then the blue skin. Even in the concept art of Thrawn for Rebels he has red eyes. I'm not worried in the slightest. The figure also has pronounced cheekbones you can barely see in the set photo, that are there, so maybe the red isnt visible.
  15. I'm just calling it right here and now. The Gunner Monkey Alien, Moroff, and Admiral Raddus are going to be break out characters of Rogue One.
  16. The Y-Wing is an absolute must buy for me if only because of Admiral Raddus. I will actually be purchasing multiples of him on the second market, he's that cool looking. Plus I want to have blue and orange mon calamari intermingle.
  17. Thrawn looks decent enough to me. Right now i'm using Cad Bane's head so anything is really an improvement UNLESS...he doesn't have red eyes. He doesn't seem to have any.
  18. I would love a parts list. I'm willing to slap down 300 on building this beauty.
  19. Just started Dune again.
  20. Huge modification. I changed the face so that there was an angle which I was inspired by from Anothergol's model. The chasis and legs are different. The legs aren't final this is just a prototype to see if this puppy will stand. Next mod will be to make shorter legs and get this more movie accurate. @LiLmeFromDaFuture Sorry it took so long, between the dreadful election nonsense and work I lost track of time. I finally found the hinge joint for the other leg and made a mockup. The chasis and the way the legs connect are heavily inspired by yours with slight modification. The legs are in fact fairly stable.
  21. As an Armada player I recognize those first two reference images as Mel's Customs? Anyways excellent rendition of the ship!
  22. This is a weird one. I watched every scene of Palpatine throughout all of the Star Wars movies. He's not the only aspect of the prequels I enjoy but he's the best part of the prequels I love. Excellent performance!
  23. Do you hate the show design of the ship or merely TLG's version? I for one love the source material but I don't think TLG did it justice especially with the bubble cockpit. However I cant blame the designer, its a wacky ship.
  24. From what i've seen the flash speeder looks excellent! I personally have no interest in Naboo besides battle droids and AATs so I didnt buy it and can't speak on it as well as the other but for the price point it would seem a great buy!
