I grew up with the prequels so they still hold a special place in my love of Star Wars. However as i've gotten older i've noticed more and more of the flaws. I do think the story the prequels try to tell is absolutely brilliant and the concepts are excellent. The fundamental problem I have is with much of the writing. George Lucas has a great eye and he is excellent when it comes to creating concepts and ideas but he's not so great at developing them. He should have always been the creative director but given full control of directing and writing to someone else. For instance the way they portrayed Anakin's rise is rather dissapointing. As someone mentioned once though its not even Hayden Christensen's fault. When your an actor with a naturally high pitched voice and all of the dialogue is complaints then you're going to come across as excessively whiney and immediately disliked. To me the best part of the prequels as they exist now are all of the Palpatine scenes and the Clone Wars battles. There is really a lot of awesome cool things throughout the prequels and honestly while I wish they had been done better I don't think they're the worst. I'm a huge trekkie, believe me we've had less enjoyable episodes and films we had to suffer through. As it stands I do love Revenge of the Sith and before Rogue One my original "Trilogy" had been Revenge, A New Hope, and Empire Strikes Back. I don't think they should remake the prequels however. With the recent passing of Christopher Lee as well as EVERYONE involved in those films it would be really rude to do that.

The King's Speech?

What is the best kind of lighting that will cause the least amount of yellowing on Legos? Is it all colors that yellow? Such as the Light Blue Grey? Would a bucket or box help to slow this?

Is there any possibility that there will be a molded Rathtar and because this is a prototype model they didnt have one to display? Does anyone remember if they hid the molded Wampa and Rancor in the proto models of their respective debut sets? Thanks @VaderFan2187 @BrickLord123

What is that sphere you make in Lego called? Cause i'm curious if that's what TLG did with the Rathars?
-
Correct. Your turn. Sorry VaderFan better luck next time. Although i'm glad you both recognized it, that makes me very happy.

Thank you! -
Microfighters to me are only good at doing one thing. They lower the cost 9f the minifigure on third party sites such as Bricklink considerably at least here in the States.

No molded Rathtars? Thats extremely disaapointing :( Still at least the sets sound great otherwise.

Just saw the much clearer pics of Vader's Transformation and the Republic Tank and boy do they look good. As an owner of the previous version of the tank I am very pleased theg shrunk the newer model down to the proper size, the old one is way too big! Vader's Transformation is most definitely a $40 (USD) of that I have no doubt. Three figures and of that size and detail, no way its under forty.

DK: Rogue One, The Ultimate Visual Guide Book

The tank in that image seems absurdly small unless the tank is really not nearly as large as it appears. -
I live in a city where that architecture was extremely prevalent, things have changed somewhat now, and having grown up surrounded by it I have to commend you on a MOC well done.

Follow the Fleet?

He is but that Tarkin has a dark tan uniform and dark blue grey hair. The one I got is the one from the most recent Death Star with the updated dark blue grey uniform and light blue grey hair.

Same. I'm not convinced it will be a classic bounty hunter pack either. I really want it to be but while i'm not typically pessimistic I expect it to end up being based on something else. What if its a freemaker bounty hunter pack?
-
For that price I certainly hope not!
-
The years with crossfaction battlepacks shouldnt count towards any trends as they're outliers.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

I remember every now and then undyed lego pieces show up where they are white. Has anyone seen a white Mon Calamari head on the market anywhere? -
What if the bounty hunter battle pack is Episode 7? That might make sense considering the other BP is the Force Awakens era. I don't think we've ever gotten battle packs before that are different eras (unless you count that year of cross faction battle packs that don't count in patterns regarding single faction packs). This would actually make sense as there were plenty of bounty hunters seen in the film, visual guide, that are represented in the video game. Tell that to Kanjuklub!

Yeah I meant the Freemakers. Any new mold or variation on a mold makes the set worth existing for me.

Not wasted yet. It depends on the figures. For example the Yoda Chronicles got us an Ithorian mold.
