I love the earth colors of this scene! I can't help feel slightly jealous that you have two rebel troopers from the new U Wing set. I've never done the floor tile technique, wouldn't even know where to begin, but have you tried 1x1 smooth tiles just placed loosely where those gaps are?

It appears the rebel fleet makeup consists of Corellian Corvettes Rebel Transports Nebulon B Frigates and most interestingly, Hammerhead Cruisers from Rebels (by way of KOTOR). I'm sure just as the corvettes and transports would be proliferated throughout the rebellion so would the Hammerheads but I wonder if this is in fact a particular group we all know within the Rebellion. Not a spoiler just food for thought.

Awww kitty Anyways I plan on modifying the neck, chassis, and leg's of my AT-ST to be more accurate. Besides the double seats I feel the head is pretty spot on! No one has shortened the legs yet so I plan on being the first!

Is that a normal photo made monochrome? Because no offense those colors look really wrong

21306: The Beatles Yellow Submarine (LEGO Ideas)
Forresto replied to Blondie-Wan's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yellow Submarine IS my childhood movie. I remember watching this movie over and over again. My family are huge Beatles fans so I might just have to get two, one for myself and one for my parents. I doubt they will make more sets, and if they never do I will be entirely satisfied with what we got, but I hope we get one more. I would love to get a Blue Meanie and Old Fred mini figure. I don't know about you guys but i'm smelling a possible Dimensions world? -
Has anyone tried modifying the legs to be shorter?
-
We cant know the appearance of mini figures until we get better pictures. As it stands they look to be the same ones as the 2015 versions but I imagine we might see some update in facial expressions.
-
Not a huge upgrade but Sabine's hair will be available in plain black on the George Harrison mini figure that is featured in the Yellow Submarine set announced today. This would match her look in the latest episode of the Rebels.
-
How close do the cheeks stay to the face plate because you moved the hinge from the front to the back? Does the regular gap remain or is it looser?
-
I really want to shorten the legs by about a third of their length but I wonder if an entire new design for the "chest" and legs is in order.

The lack of arm printing on the shore troopers, Tie Pilots, and imperial technicians is ridiculous at this point.

Wow pretty great modifications! I might have to borrow some of those techniques. I am not a huge fan of the triangles on the outside edge of the eyes/windows.

Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Introduction and Discussion
Forresto replied to Brickdoctor's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
For my bounty hunter would it be alright to employ one custom piece? It's a red cape for accent but when I was younger I cut the sides so that it was narrower, otherwise it's unaltered and the bounty hunter is entirely purist. -
Perhaps but I feel when one hundred percent correct scale isnt possible, one can still get close. However that model seems much smaller then the AT-ST we see on Hoth. I'm curious if the Empire employs two variants. For instance a compact variant makes total sense for dense aboreal terrain whereas the taller variant seems to gain a height advantage on open field.

I forgot about the colony that is utterly ruthless. Chances are the Rebels couldn't manage to send another convoy as well. Ouch! That's what I love about this episode, it's one thing to imagine the Empire being horrible but I find it far more effective for their actions to be ever present.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had their best people focused on RO sets. The film sets probably need to meet a certain quality or expectation since they tie in directly with Disney's marketing. I would imagine TLG has more free range for the other sets that aren't tie ins. It's far too early to indicate a trend but i'm curious if what we'll see from now on is high quality film tie in sets and average to meh quality for the rest of the waves?

Just watched Antilles Extraction on youtube, had to cut cable, and this may be one of my favorite episodes. First off Tie Interceptors are amazing, what a way to introduce them to the show! That Ace is a badass! He took on a Corellian Corvette, a ship that is typically good at shooting down fighters, by HIMSELF! This season so far is proof of how much better the show's dynamic is when the Empire is winning and the Rebels are in constant panic, scrounging mode. That doesn't mean the Rebels shouldn't win or have hero moments but to make those moments really satisfying, in my mind, you have to show or talk about them losing. Every gain the rebels make should have a price. The Original Trilogy, especially ANH and ESB does this. To destroy the Death Star the Rebels lost countless soldiers and pilots, yes it was a victory but look at the cost. Same thing with the Second Death Star. This episode however does bring up another problem with Ezra, and I promise I will stop harping on this . At the beginning Hera says Ezra is too well known amongst the imperials to infiltrate the academy. At this point the Emperor must be aware of him if even petty officers are and if that's the case it can't mean anything good for the kid especially being a prospective Jedi. My future hope is we get Ian McDiarmid to reprise Palpatine at least once more. He's 72 now. He could go another twenty years and as I wish and hope he does but with the passing of Tim Rose this year Admiral Akbar is probably finished. I want to note I care more for the well being of the actors then the characters they play, I mourn for Tim Rose not Ackbar but it would be nice to see the true Emperor again.

New Rogue One character and possibly location

Kuroneko a really well made Japanese horror movie from 1968. Not that terrifying but really enjoyable.

Is Soontir Fel canon again?
-
So theres a new rebel character thats been announced that potentially could be the other figure in the Y-Wing set.

Strongly disagree. The prequel art designs are very distinct and the honestly the best part of those movies. Ask a kid who group in the prequel era and played the video games like Battlefront and rhey can tell you the names of many of those designs as easily as any of the main OT ships. Considering we have a bajillion Naboo Starfighters and vulture droids clearly TLG gets this. Its like the 2008 (around that) version of the MTT is universally reknown as being ine of the best SW sets ever made. An amazing srt is an amazing set. That logic also applies to the OT as well. Yes most people know about Tie Fighters and X Wings but what about the Medical Frigats's class or name? Or any big ship bssides a Star Destoryer for rhat matter.

That would be nice if you would!

What about Porkins? :D
