Welcome! Great shirt, indeed!

This debate will always have two sides, each with great arguments.. I would not mix RC components and Lego parts. It fells like a cheating to me, even if we cant produce similar results with Lego motors and batteries. Will you open the wip topic for this? am very interested to see loaded 1:8 truck speeding at 20km/h using only Lego parts. :)

Hey Andreas, welcome to Eurobricks!

Heffe, welcome. You cant send PM until you have 10 posts. Try to make 10 good and reasonable posts, though. You could have also tried to contact the builder via the link he provided, to avoid activating old topic.

I am interested in this model. It looks so nice with that plates making all the curves. -
Welcome! Regarding your question: technic is theme with one of the biggest sets, if we are talking about part count. Yes, there are people that make big models, both technic and non-technic that you can buy instructions, or even buy complete model. So, what theme would you like?

Doug, Sure, here are the answers: 1. If i understood correctly, you want to change your model's name in the Entry topic? It is ok by all means. When you finish the model, post it in the entry topic under new, desired name. 2. Link to discussion topic means that when you post your finished model into the Entry topic, and once you show your pictures, video and info, you also should post a link to your WIP topic, which is also called a discussion topic, as it allows people to discuss your wip model

Thanks! This seems like great solution. It has small tiny gaps where hinges are connecting, but nevertheless, its very nice! Saint: i dont get it, what is 1x1 with ring?
-
Thanks. I will try those to see what can i make. I will also try to find some solution for 1 x n.
-
Djm: thanks, that nice solution. Too bad it can not be made at any length, but great idea! Shayd: oh yeah, i remember that! Can it be used with 2x2 bricks and plates (and 2x4), or just with 2x3?

Hey all. I am away from my computer so i would try to explain like this. I am looking for a way to connect two bricks, or brick with plate or plate with plate, in a way that they are facing their studs in the oposite direction. So, when connected, top brick would have its studs facing up, and the bottom brick would have its studs facing down. I know there is a way to do this with two bricks, with inserting technic half pins in one brick, but i hate the gap that is made that way. So i was wondering is there a way to do this but without any gaps visible. Oh, it would be great if this would be possible with bricks or plates 1 x n. Thanks for any ideas.

Hey, welcome. I can relate with your unfortunate situation. One big set- technic flagship cost around 70% of my salary. When that set is imported to our stores, it gets lots more costly. So i buy only bricks what i need and look for good deals on BL. Anyway, have fun with ldd, until you acquire more parts!
