Welcome to avalonia, nice troops. The lances are very clever. It is hard to have large armies without spending a fortune.

This is a lovely moc, the little loft interior is cool. The rockwork is really well done, loving the mix of snot and non snot. You do need more light though on the moc. Maybe take pics outside.

Ta brick curve that would be helpful. I did build a photo area for taking pictures so i would have a white background but its not big enough (underestimated the need for moving the camera about). Im gonna build a newer larger one from the boxes the babies pram comes in. Ill read your tutorial and that'll hopefully clean the images up some more. Iv not added vines as my character has only just founded the city and is building it as we speak. So i dont want an overgrown look it should look clean and new. Other sections will have vegetation as the "residents" will have planted them.

Here is the first part of my city complete. The ballista on top of the tower is called goliath and is paired with titan on the other side of the river. These ballista towers are the innermost of the defences heading upstream into the city. Inside each tower are also 4 smaller spear throwing ballista and a chain which can be raised to help block the river to passing vessels. Behind the tower is part of the dock road which leads from the dock to the inner city. Please accept this for the military category for avalonia task 4. C and c is always welcome. Plesee ignore the exposed technic pieces, this where the other sections will link into this one. I currently plan on 9 different sections coming together to make a decent city scene. 8 of the 9 are currently being worked on with one completed (this one) I also need more editing practice lol

Loving the mixel joints. It gives the tree a lovely bark effect and lovely twisted branches. I hope lego bring out the joints in more colours. Reddish brown would be great.

Lovely rock work. Nicely staged and shot.

This is a lovely moc, the part usage is brilliant. The floor though is my fav bit with the gaps between tiles. Only negative is the lock printed piece, dont think it goes with the build.

GoH Freebuild: The Libraries of Albion
cablefoxley replied to halixon's topic in Guilds of Historica
Not a bad library, but more books would make it better. Also a little more colour on the wall's like tapestries would work well in a large room. But im really liking the bookcase, its got great detail. -
Nice build there, loving the boat. I tried doing one recently and it was pants. Any chance of un-misty photos. Cheers.
