That is he right tower of the gatehouse and yes i will be building the left and the rooms and battlements with the arch. Im building it so you can take it apart into different bits and look inside. There will also be curtain walls coming off the towers on either side. Should have enough bricks to do it, if not might have to use bricklink! Cheers for the comments.

Hi just another quick update before i go on hols tomoz: Iv stated to build the right tower, its gonna be a bit taller still buts its nearly there. Here is a closer view of the arrow slits. (and a better sense of scale) Any thoughts?

Ta for looking The flat rock bit is where iv not built up the rock as the wall be running along that section that iv "flattened off". Ill add some extra rock when the wall is built.

Apologies for the poor shots but i wanted to get some pics up before i go on holiday for a week. When i get back i hope to be able to add the gates and walls up pretty quick then on to build a temple of the sea god behind them. Any thoughts or criticisms?

Hi im, cable foxley a late 20's afol from Manchester UK. Been back into lego for 18 months or so. Currently organising my lego into different colours and bricks. Must have alot of old grey and dark grey plus some of the new lotr stuff (which i love). Looking to join a guild of Historica as i love castles. My rough piece count is 20.000 plus.
